I had a daily special sandwich, Chicken Parmesean grilled cheese. The sandwich was pretty big, lasted me 2 meals, and had chicken, cheese, and drippy tomato sauce. The fries were thick cut and looked like fair fries, and even reheated fairly well in the toaster over. I really enjoyed my meal and would visit them again if they are at another event!

We keep passing this food truck in front of Carver's and finally stopped today. I think a good food…read moretrucks keeps their menu simple by offering variations of the same dishes and they've done a great job of this with 7 or 8 different burgers (including a chicken tender sandwich), fries three ways and 5 shake flavors. It was all great. I probably wouldn't stop again for the shake alone (although the presentation was fantastic), but it was a nice combo with the food. Get the rosemary parmesan fries, you won't be sorry! Fyi, the rice crispy treat shake has chocolate and caramel in and on it which I didn't expect.

The hibachi chicken and shrimp is ok in my opinion. My young…read moredaughter really enjoyed the shrimp and chicken in it.. but it would be nice if they had a more affordable kids size portion available to order. Also if they had more meet/vegetables in it and less rice overall-especially for the price paid for it. It was like the rice was the main course of it- when it should just be a filler when I've ordered two meats. I recommend getting your own drinks as they are $1.50 for a regular sized can of soda here. But it's a nice place to stop to get food to take to the park, ect. There is no where to sit to wait for your food besides your car so the ambience isn't ideal-but again it's a nice place to stop and take your food to the park. However if you want to dine-in you're out of luck here. With that said, the wait was longer than I anticipated.. I personally thought it could use more flavorful on the hibachi and shrimp and to be really grilled into it a little longer and could be hotter. It smelled good though! As far as the sushi goes-that was really good! I have a picture here after I've already ate some of it. I'm excited to try some of their other rolls-but doubt I'll do the hibachi grill (non-sushi options) again as it doesn't seem worth it for what you get nor is it flavorful enough to justify paying the price that they're asking for it. I also with they had deals on their sushi rolls if you order multiple.. I'd need more than one to fill me up. Service overall was friendly!

I was very intrigued with the idea of a pretzel calzone. Although, I admit I am a bit of a snob for both calzones and pretzels having high expectations for either. You can imagine the lines were long, but the people manning Manny's Munchies that day, they put that food out hot and quick! I ordered a Pepperoni Pizza Pretzel Calzone for myself, a Buffalo Chicken Calzone for my brother, and some pretzel nuggets. Once we got them we sat to enjoy them. The calzones were crunchy, well seasoned, and delicious. My brother said his had the right amount of heat. We devoured them! We then tried the pretzel nuggets and remarked these two were perfect as they had the right amount of salt. Thinking about them now, makes me hungry and wish I could have another. If you see this food truck pull up to an event or your place of work, you gotta have some!

The staff were very nice and recommended the All-American Toll as one of their favorites- of course I had to try it. My father in law got the Southern roll and I wish we had ordered one of each to try them all. The All-American had ground beef, onions, cheddar cheese, pickle and was topped with tomato and their burger sauce. The Southern Roll had pulled pork and Mac and cheese and had bbq sauce drizzled over top. Both were delicious, crispy outside and flavorful combinations inside with some delicious sauces. From what I saw on their Instagram this is a new food truck, but if this meal is any indication, I can see it being really popular.

We found La Grande in the downtown area, a couple miles off the highway. The pizza joint resides near the corner of Blackhoof and Main in a rather unassuming brick and mortar. The atmosphere is very pub and grill, definitively casual, and reminds me a bit of the 20th century pizza-bars I grew up with in Youngstown. If you're looking for a an elegant dine-in, this is not your spot. Much more of a local watering hole with pizza, wings, subs, and fried whatever-you-can-imagine. On our visit we tried some fried and it was as expected: fried. Followed it up with a 14" 3-topping pizza. Note: they will split toppings, and we took advantage of this option. Steak entrecote it was not, but tasty pizza above "The Hut Line", it certainly was. Our server/bartender was as friendly as can be and just this side of being able to serve alcohol. The youthful exuberance was appreciated and the price did not exceed $$ (two dollar signs). Would not decline another visit if in town again.
