We went to Brix Grill about a week ago, and this place never disappoints! We sat at the bar for…read moredrinks, apps, and dinner, and Evelyn was our bartender. She was incredibly attentive, friendly, and perfectly paced without ever rushing us. The drinks were well-crafted and delicious. We loved the crab cakes and wings as appetizers -- the crab cakes were so generous they could easily be a full meal. For dinner, we both had the Brix Burger, cooked perfectly with a great char and tons of flavor. I love the cozy vibe while still being able to watch the game. Even when it gets busy, the service stays excellent. The whole staff is friendly and attentive. We can't recommend Brix Grill enough -- and if you go, ask for Evelyn!

Reasonably okay lunch spot but dinner wasn't great. I will give them credit, they are trying... but…read morethe cocktails with a burnt piece of rosemary for a "smoked" flavor were absolutely terrible (first time in my life I didnt finish a cocktail). It was like drinking liquid used to extinguish a burning christmas tree. (also this was paired with a fruity pink drink....not really a great combo) Dinner was overall fine but nothing really to right home about, crab cakes were great but the fried calamari had zero salt on it and was a bit chewy. The chicken florentine wasn't bad but it was not a thinly pounded or sliced piece of chicken that was pan fried....it was a whole breaded chicken breast that was deep fried. The service was good but it didnt make up for the food being just okay.

Well, first visit after reading different reviews. Traveled…read moresome distance to try. Ordered a fiddlehead double IPA with 8.2 abv Smoked bbq chicken wings 2 meat combo of ribs, brisket, Mac and cheese, bbq beans Well, smoked wings were outstanding and some best I've had .... Just right amount of smoke flavor. Brisket was a huge wow... tender, moist and some of best brisket I've had at many bbq spots throughout USA. Ribs had a nice smoke ring, a bit salty for my tastes, but still an excellent cook on the ribs Mac and cheese was great, I wanted a multi cheese taste... add a parm cheese to it... still excellent cook on the Mac and cheese Beans very good, I like a bit more molasses, with few chunks briskets ... excellent however Corn bread on dry side...needs improvement Only one option for bbq ... I wanted a peach flavor for my brisket, but all good Excellent bbq with outstanding wings . I'll return .

Absolutely raving about The Rusty Can in Byfield, MA! This hidden BBQ gem blew us away. The ribs…read morewere fall-off-the-bone perfection, with so much meat packed onto each one--seriously generous and smoky delicious. The pork belly sandwich special was an unforgettable mouthful: juicy, cheesy, and perfectly stacked on toasted rye that added the ideal crunch. We were shocked (in the best way) by the salad portions--massive! Easily enough to feed a family of four, and fresh as can be. The cornbread? Soft, sweet, and heavenly with the honey butter. We did think a little toast would've helped that butter melt just right--but still a must-order. The house pickles were crisp with the most satisfying snap and bold flavor. We also tried the hush puppies with their unique dipping sauce--super creative, though not totally our vibe. Limited seating means you might wait, but trust us--it's absolutely worth it. Booth or table seating. The Rusty Can is a flavor-packed experience from start to finish.

Had to deviate from my original plans but I don't regret it. I think I found a hidden gem in the…read morearea. Scott Bros bbq was my favorite bite of brisket this week. The strong flavor of black pepper on the bark into every bite warmed me up on this cool morning and helped carry extra toasty Smokey flavors into each bite. Wonderfully moist and man so beefy. The rib had a nice slight bite. More towards the texture that I personally. A wonderfully cheesy sausage that burst in my mouth as I took a bite. This might be just me but I prefer getting a whole link unsliced. Taking a bite out of it to feel the casing snap under the pressure of my teeth. And the snap today was extremely satisfying. Something that I need a lot more in my life is Brunswick stew. Scott Brothers BBQ's is a little different. Topped with a chili crisp that added an extra layer of spice and aroma. Pieces of all the meats swimming in the stew. And getting surprise bites of fried garlic from the chili crisp. The perfect item to warm you up on a cold day. Honestly, I'd eat this even on a scorching hot summer day. Man, a perfect stop before the airport.

Over all it was very good and the portions were good and I saved one of the ribs for later! The only complaint is that I asked if it included sauce and the guy said it did but there was only a small portion (which was very good) of sauce in the take out container and I ate it at home so I couldn't ask for more! But over all it was great and I will definitely go back!
