The good: Coffee Tea Sausage links The bad: Home Fries - bland and under-seasoned, as if they were boiled and barely kissed the grill. Eggs - 1 of the 4 orders at our table were overdone. Ham - overdone and tough to the point that it was very difficult to cut with a knife. Which was odd as they were thin slices! We wonder if it was old ham. Banana cream pie - bananas were overripe Pumpkin crunch pie - had a thin, soggy crust. Pumpkin filling was curdled like scrambled egg texture, under-sweet, and under-spiced. Not worth the $5 per slice. Very disappointing. 2-stars from me means that the food was edible, but definitely not recommendable. I "hands-down" concur with the guys! I absolutely loved the soup; it tasted like my own beef stroganoff sauce. And IMO, the burger was the best diner burger I've had anywhere in Metro Detroit - perfectly toasted bun, great sear on a well-seasoned, perfectly cooked medium temperature half-pound pattied burger wirh caramelized onions, sautéed mushrooms, melted Swiss cheese, and a garlic spread. The burger was executed very well and had some great fries which were lightly battered and very crispy. Excellent service and very clean. Overall, an excellent experience. I will definitely be adding this establishment to my rotation.
