Ample parking which is well organized! Lots of places for kids to run, farm animals and play areas for kids including slides, sand pit, train setup, magnetic tiles and many more. We went for the fall event and though it was rainy, the covered shelter helped . I just wished there were more food trucks! Unlike other farms they have a cleaner restrooms and amazing friendly staff . They had new pumpkin painting where the kid could pick their own choice of pumpkin from the vegetable garden for $4 and lots of stickers and pens to color! Lastly, subscribe to the newsletter. It's probably one of the best newsletter I have ever read from any farm or any establishment. They literally let you inside their lives and I always felt warmth reading them!

This is located within... - Brightwater Park is the entire complex including green space. - Brightwater Treatment Plant is located within the park. Phew. I found only Brightwater Center in Yelp, and I decided not to add multiple businesses. Lazy today. Anyway, the parts that we visited are the trails and "ponds" at the North Habitat in the park. The south side looks much smaller according to the map. The ponds are in quotation marks, because they don't look that good currently. Maybe with more rain, they will look more natural. The bigger one, called Lower Pond, is used to manage storm water runoff, which helps the salmon. We followed the Storywalk trail, reading the book "We Are Water Protectors" along this trail. I recommend taking a photo of the site map. Other than the story trail, the paths to the ponds are not as obvious. Lastly, the dahlias are blooming beautifully outside of the center building. On a very hot weekend in July, there were very few people on these trails. Everything is very brown. I highly recommend bringing water because the buildings are closed.

But the last couple of times I've been here, I had to tiptoe through the puppy poop! I think my one star is more for the inconsiderate visitors who let their dogs mess on the trails and not pick up after them. Two weeks ago, I thought it was an aberration. Two days ago, even worse. Maintenance needs to do a better job at KP on the trails and ticket those who do not obey the rules. There are signs posted all over and the park even has bags for people who don't bring their own. Really, people (you know who you are), you can do better than this!!!

Everything ran smoothly, from the before-wedding coordinations to the set-up to the reception. We picked the venue because we could bring our own caterers (we chose 3 different food trucks) as well as bringing our own alcohol. Plus, it's beautiful, inside and out, so our photos turned out lovely. (Note: my photos are credited to my photographer, Melinda Burgess, and she was AMAZING) We've also come here the past two years to cut down our Christmas tree and really enjoy it.

I…read morecame here with a friend on the 25th of August 2018 to do some exploring and learn about the watershed in Western Washington. The presentation of information was well done. Some sections were also very interactive! When we entered one area we picked up a ball. We then proceeded through the area putting our ball in different tubes depending on what water pathway we wanted to learn about and the ball would levitate/flow to the next station corresponding to a next stop on the water cycle or something of the like. That was very neat! I could easily see spending a few hours here. We rushed it a little, but it was still fun. The graphics for understanding the local watershed were very cool. Videos complemented a light up topographic model of the area and we got to see where our fresh water supply comes from. There was also information available about individual water towers in the Puget Sound area and we found one of the ones we had both driven past growing up. Informational brochures and handouts were available with water quality reports and tips for different water related issues such managing storm water. A very enjoyable and informative place to visit.

When we called to question this we were told sorry you were mis-quoted but no refunds. Very disappointed in customer service and misrepresentation of resort/facilities. Caution... gate is not locked at night per website description either.

The place was kept clean and it was a relaxing and still private environment that you can just enjoy the time privately with people in your group. I also really appreciated the staff. They were friendly and on top of things. The kitchen crew, in particular, really made sure to accommodate everyone with various eating restrictions. The food tasted good and was served family style. Everything tasted good and I really enjoyed it. I definitely would love to have the opportunity to wind down and come back to spend some more time at Rainbow Lodge Retreat Center again in a future.

I heard that in the past it was buffet style and I'm so glad they don't do that anymore and it's done family style. Family style just gives you so much more style and time to really commune with those you're there with. I hate buffet style meals, to me it's very wasteful and academic. I was there to visit and make friends and being able to eat and share food around the like family was sooo more relaxed. You could tell by all the laughter and conversations going on around us also. The benches all over was nice to go and be able to chat with friends or just sit in quiet by yourself. Super comfy beds, slept like a dream. Oh I also loved that coffee was made super early in the morning and was kept full all day so you could get coffee or tea all day long and they had clean mugs for you to use. Which were nice cus you definitely knew which mug was yours by the design and was easy to track where your coffee was. Everything was super clean and nice to be able to relax and enjoy the company of those I was there with. Loved that there are dispensers of shampoo and conditioner and body wash in the showers. This is a must stay place for retreats or large family gatherings.

The park has a paved path with lots of trees & flowers. There's even a HUGE 3-story playground! That was the biggest playground I've ever seen! There was also a smaller playground for little ones. The farm itself is at the top of the park and it's small but lovely because we saw all the animals. My daughter loved naming all the different animals and especially loved the goats & sheep. This is a free farm but there was a cute mailbox accepting donations. I don't think anyone was working when we went on a Saturday. You can also have your birthday party here which is so fun for animal lovers! They even offer classes where people of all ages, from school age to adults can learn how to care for the animals which is so cool! Overall, this was such a fun free activity we could do in the heart of the city! We were amazed at how beautiful the place was!

I am so delighted to be the first to review Arborea Falls here on yelp…read more My husband Leo and I appreciate the celebration of diversity and the focus on community that the owners of Arborea Falls value. I e-mailed with Kelly to set up our holiday photo shoot here, and she was super sweet and a pleasure to communicate with. We're still pretty new to the East Side, so we were looking for a small outdoor venue with lovely scenery. This venue fit our needs perfectly. We got super lucky on the day that our photo shoot was scheduled. The grounds looked gorgeous with a thick blanket of pristine snow covering everything, but the waterfalls were still running! The lighting and the natural backdrops were so perfect that we did absolutely zero photo post-processing, color corrections, line corrections, or any other type of photoshopping or editing - we simply posted the photos exactly as they had been taken. My husband, who is an amateur photographer by avocation and a physician by vocation, commented repeatedly how much he appreciated the natural lighting that the snow illuminated the photos with. He had brought photography umbrellas and other lighting equipment with us, but he didn't have to use any of it! I formerly worked as a Stylist Assistant for photo shoots for major magazines, including Seattle Met. So it's always enjoyable to put my professional experience to work on something fun like this. The vibe of the photo shoot was fun and laid back. We really enjoyed traipsing around the grounds in our all-white outfits. The owner, Kelly, came by to say Hi, and it was really nice to meet her. We would've wanted to talk longer but we had reserved the grounds for 2 hours and the 2 hours flew by, especially including setting up our tripod in 6 different locations on the grounds. Kelly said we could use the area behind the house, but we didn't have time to do that either. The suggested donation for our 2-hour photo shoot was $200, which we thought was very fair. We chose to donate $200. I think I remember reading on this venue's website that the grounds rent for 10 times that (or more) for larger events, so we thought this was quite a reasonable price to pay in order to have the grounds all to ourselves for this time period. This may become a yearly tradition! The only change I might make next time is to rent the space for 3 hours instead of 2 hours. Even without setting up our lighting equipment (which was happily not necessary since the snow naturally provided the desired lighting effects), we didn't have enough time to take photos with our fake snowball accessories or our white battery-operated candle accessories. However, we are both very happy with our experience here, and we enjoyed doing our December 2022 Holiday Photo Shoot on the grounds here.
