We wanted a weekend away and will absolutely be returning!…read more The interior of the hotel is lovely with ample places to relax and enjoy a quiet weekend including the lounge, a seat by the fire out front, or just relaxing in the room itself. We stayed on the spa floor and having an in-room fireplace made for such a cozy addition to an already great stay. Spa treatments and dinner, while a bit pricey, were well worth the cost in our opinion. Even the waiting/relaxation area for the spa felt luxurious with a lit fire, snacks, and a tea station at the ready! And for the Twin Peaks fans there are a variety of great nods to the show without feeling like you've stepped into a tourist trap. Themed cocktails and a handful of shop items were tasteful and unique! Overall, Salish has landed on our "to revisit" list as a fast favorite!

Truly the best hotel experience I have ever had…read more I stayed 3 nights in a spa level riverside king for my and my husbands wedding. The customer service the whole time was on a new level. They cared about our stay and truly made it a luxurious experience. Club 268 was amazing, great cocktails and great service by the man and woman who were attendants there. I apologize that I cannot name them by name. The spa!! Unreal experience, everything was clean and they truly thought of everything like a heated massage table. My massage therapist was Addison for 2 nights and he provided the best massage service, even informing my massage therapist on my 3rd night of things I did or needed. He listened to my disabilities and made adjustments. Addison made a once scary experience for me very enjoyable. My husband and I cannot wait to come back. We were sad to leave. We felt special every moment at Salish Lodge and Spa.

It was so pretty and that day was nice and sunny so the mountains looked majestic as the backdrop to a wonderful Easter weekend. They had face painting, balloon animals, and a petting zoo, and the kids just loved it. They had set up an Easter Egg Hunt and had lots of cute decorations everywhere for the Easter festivities. You really felt like it was Easter there. They even had an Easter Bunny to take photos with the little kids and the Bunny gave lots of great hugs to the kids and take photos with everyone. The buffet was extensive and had plenty of food for everyone's tastes. They even had crab claws and mussels. Unfortunately it was all my favorite foods and I ate a little too much. I was so stuffed I could barely get to the dessert table. (I of course have a reserve dessert stomach, so I had some cake and coffee). The staff was very nice and helpful and they worked very hard. It was a great event and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Hopefully we get another invite out here again soon!

The place was kept clean and it was a relaxing and still private environment that you can just enjoy the time privately with people in your group. I also really appreciated the staff. They were friendly and on top of things. The kitchen crew, in particular, really made sure to accommodate everyone with various eating restrictions. The food tasted good and was served family style. Everything tasted good and I really enjoyed it. I definitely would love to have the opportunity to wind down and come back to spend some more time at Rainbow Lodge Retreat Center again in a future.

The food was…read moreamazing, like five star quality at a resort which is really unheard of unless you're paying out the Nose for a spa retreat. I heard that in the past it was buffet style and I'm so glad they don't do that anymore and it's done family style. Family style just gives you so much more style and time to really commune with those you're there with. I hate buffet style meals, to me it's very wasteful and academic. I was there to visit and make friends and being able to eat and share food around the like family was sooo more relaxed. You could tell by all the laughter and conversations going on around us also. The benches all over was nice to go and be able to chat with friends or just sit in quiet by yourself. Super comfy beds, slept like a dream. Oh I also loved that coffee was made super early in the morning and was kept full all day so you could get coffee or tea all day long and they had clean mugs for you to use. Which were nice cus you definitely knew which mug was yours by the design and was easy to track where your coffee was. Everything was super clean and nice to be able to relax and enjoy the company of those I was there with. Loved that there are dispensers of shampoo and conditioner and body wash in the showers. This is a must stay place for retreats or large family gatherings.
