The pumpkin wall was cool to see, but what pleasantly surprised me was discovering that this is also a great farm with lots of fresh products. The checkout lines were long, although I imagine they're probably much shorter once the pumpkin wall attraction is no longer there. Pleasantly surprised to find the lot half-empty when we arrived on the later side of a Saturday but then it filled up by the time we left around 3. To your right, as soon as you drive in, you'll see an area with pumpkins and the farm store - this is also where you get PYO fruit/veggies if you're paying with credit. If you have cash on hand, you can pay for a bag at the little stand right in front of the orchard. A peck (the smaller bag) was $25. I was a little skeptical at the size but it's a good deal if you really pack your apples in there. From there, the apple orchard. Not the biggest I've been to and the selection was understandably limited. We missed the sign to download the QR code for a map of the orchard and so had to rely on a photo of a thin pole with all the names/colors wrapped around it. Don't forget to stop at the store before you leave. I grabbed some pumpkin pie, jam, and an apple cider donut - they also have apple cider slushies and multiple flavors of ice cream. The donut was THE BEST, made fresh, almost falling apart, thick and generous coating of cinnamon and sugar (also tasted nutmeg and allspice in the coating). Absolutely worth waiting in the line for, but make sure to pay first and get a little yellow receipt/tag from the register before you get in line for the donuts.

This is not my first time blueberry picking, so I know what to look for and how to pick berries. The area is fairly short - meaning the netting to keep the birds out is very low. If you're tall, you're going to be dragging the netting through your hair or killing your back from crouching. Bushes are not trimmed and maintained well. However, the height of the berries are perfect for children to be able to pick their own. After crouching for a while and leaving with 4 lbs of berries, we were happy with our haul. However, after coming home and washing them to prepare for storage and eating, the nightmare began. Nearly all the berries have small white bugs on them. No biggie, fairly easy to wash and scrub. However, when worms and grubs starting to come out of the berries, I knew that this was not a great picking place. Their blueberries looked great, but clearly they're dealing with bug issues that will kill their crops and customer base. Wasted money down the drain, but better than eating bug infested fruits. It's a bummer as I've picked fruits at their Tyngsboro location with no issues. But I'd steer clear on this location and drive further to go up to Tyngsboro.

There were also numerous bees on and around the flowers but luckily we didn't get stung. We also visited the farm stand that had some nice baked goods and fresh produce. There were also two goats outside of this area that were so cute. Overall a fun experience but definitely go late august for the best experience. Beware too, not very accessible and lots of walking on grass.
