The sod they replaced was left with the corners of the pieces sticking up in many places so that it would not properly root, I had to fix this myself. After the freeze I lost 4 bottle brush bushes, and I asked them to remove them. They cut them down to stumps and left the bushes in place. They placed another bush in front to hide the bush they left behind. I had a tree in back that lost some branches in the freeze. I asked them to make the area look nice and cut out the dead branches and clean up the bed that the tree was in. They hacked off the only nice parts of the bush, planted some cheap flowers, failed to remove the banana tree they were supposed to, and never put the mulch in the bed they promised. They had left over sod that I paid for and didn't use it all. They sold that to my neighbor and never even offered me a discount. When I asked them to come back to address the issues they wouldn't respond to my texts. The kid that runs this business is shady, does very poor quality of work, and cares zero about customer satisfaction. My landscaping looked worse after they worked on it than it did before they touched it. Worst landscaping service I have ever had. If I could give them a negative five star rating I would.

Matt was initially very professional... until he was paid. When we asked him to come out to address the issues we were having, he did. Once. And they installed a backsplash all the way around the area that was being run over by rainfall. After that, I was told that the backsplashes would ALWAYS be getting clogged and I would have to clean them myself. Ah... to go back in time and not spend that kind of money. Some lessons are more expensive than others. Take my advice, DO NOT purchase these. Spend that money on a whole home generator or something that actually works. And spend it on a proven business that stands by their product.

There are a lot of options for gutter guards. I did research for a few weeks including asking…read moreneighbors about their experiences. In the end I wanted a top notch product that would work (so I would not have to). As an engineer I was drawn to the Valor style guards. The "S" shape and the slight bow make great sense to make sure water has time to enter the gutter thru the screen and prevent leaves etc from sticking to the screen. I found this design superior to the major competitors. We contacted Matt from Gutter Filters of Houston and he came to the house and measured my gutters and noted all corners etc. it took about 30 minutes to get measurements and do a quick layout of the roofline. We then spent another 20-30 minutes reviewing the options and pricing etc. We agreed to an installation date and his team was here on time and got the job done quickly and then cleaned up after themselves. They made sure all my gutter seams were sealed and all debris in the gutters cleaned out. The guards are not visible from ground level which is nice. We have not had a hard rain yet, but I did take out the garden hose and sprayed the roof on full power to simulate a hard rain. The "S" curves worked exactly as designed to slow the water and make sure it all got into the gutter with no overflow. So far so good. We would recommend the Valor style guards and Gutter Filters of Houston to do the work.

We originally received their contact information from a very discerning neighbor, so for her to recommend them held a lot of weight. They started as just the maintenance company for my parents' new home, and we then had them do a bid to augment and add additional landscaping to their new home. They were an absolute delight to work with throughout the process and the care they continue to show for my parent's project is really touching. We will continue to work with them in all of our future projects and have been recommending them to our friends and neighbors when asked. Thank you so much!

My neighbor had used TJ's services at 4LeafClover a while back to pave their backyard, so I called. He came out next morning and gave me an estimate and a few options for materials he had on hand already and could provide for a discount. He happened to have availability, and he and a helper came out that afternoon and started the demo of the existing concrete slabs and weeding. The next day, they came and continued digging out and started filling and leveling the ground. The paving looks excellent, and TJ made sure the design was functional for irrigation (important especially with all the flooding). For ease of moving stuff to/from truck, they tapped out a few planks of the fence. A few pieces were slightly damaged, and they replaced it before they wrapped up on Day 3 - no questions asked. I love the little pattern he did in alternating the direction of the paving - I never even thought of all these little details. He came back day 3 and finished it off in the morning. I'm in love with my new backyard! TJ also always had the brightest smile. In 95+ weather after 6+ hours of hard labor, that positive attitude really stood out to me. 5 stars all the way!

Will was able to take over his duties and made their house look great again. My parents have large trees that drop a lot of leaves. Despite being me being 200 miles away from Houston, he worked with me and my parents to coordinate a convenient time. He took the extra steps to accommodate my parents who are hard of hearing and don't speak the best English.
