I called a local repair guy and he couldn't come until Sunday. NG. My first call was to Ferguson's plumbing Supply (formerly Blackman's), told them what the problem was, gave them all the specs about my water tank and they said they had it but they were closing at 12 noon. Made several phone calls, and they either went into voice mail or they couldn't be bothered. The main reason was that I was providing my own water tank. Less money to be made. Somebody that was not readily available, recommended Anthony from APV Mechanical. He called me, I told him my predicament and we agreed on a price. He gave me a time frame and his people showed up as promised. After I had agreed with Anthony to do the job, received several phone calls, and when I told them I already had someone, they underbid him by a couple hundred but I had promised Anthony that no matter what, he had the job. Ran like a maniac and purchased the WH, and Anthony and his people installed it in less than 3 hours, and my life went back to normal. Anthony and his people were very considerate, honest, efficient, very affordable, and pretty clean as his crew made sure that all the water was gone and ensure that both, my boiler and hot water heater were working. Based on my experience with Anthony and his company, I would recommend him, no questions asked.

Then I had to have a draft test, then they came out another 2x for property pictures. So, no hot water no heat. Then summer came & went. Whenever I called LIHVAC, the line rang & they used their caller ID & sent me to voicemail. So I then started hiding my phone # & they'd answer. But still, they blamed NYSERDA for the delays. Here comes November!!! I call LIHVAC & am told that they are no longer using the NYSERDA pgm. So they gave me NO courtesy call, rejected my calls, ignored my emails. Terrible & irresponsible company. So that was 7 mos without heat & hot water. I called NYSERDA the last time & they gave me a company that they say they stand behind. I had nothing to lose, so I went with GreenTeam LI. After 2 preliminary visits, I was up & running w/a heat & hot water before Thanksgiving. LI HVAC lost out on $36k since I went with the heat pump! They should be ashamed of themselves. I can imagine how they take advantage of people. Poor excuse of a company & they deserve to close. Take notice & don't use this company. Horrible service & despicable & lack of morals.

We received a return call in about a minute of hanging up and it was Amanda. Her firs words were "o you need an electrician". I told her what was going on, she said I will call you right back. wo minutes later she said We can have a crew by you in about an hour. :Later that same day I spoke with Jessie and when I told him the problem he said "That's what we do. Following this interaction, I read the reviews and every review was glowing. I first said that it's impossible to receive all five star reviews. Well, the reviews were correct, the crew worked into the night and the following day and problem solved. MI Technology found three breaks in the underground line. A crew of about six technicians were on site. All I can say is the glowing reviews were correct and I am amazed at the professionalism, courtesy of MI technology from Amanda to Jessie and the rest of the crew, all I can say is thank you, thank you.

I advised him that the spinning disc, (for lack of the correct part) whatever it is, is rubbing against the other piece. He asked if the fan had been dropped. Wow. Anyway, he disassembles the light fixture, and straightens out the bent part. He tells me that the fan is unrepairable and that I should just replace it today for $70-100, he will get the check from CHW and he will pay me whatever I spend on a replacement. I thought that was odd & doubted that process. After going back/forth about the value, the tech told me that he'll put in a request for my $400 value & I would start shopping for a new fan. During the tech's reassembly & reattaching the light fixture, he can't get the lights to work & asks if the batteries were dead! Lol. Ok. Then he tries a few things unsuccessfully & I was left without lighting. No biggie. I still gave him a tip for his efforts. The next day, CHW wanted feedback on the RESOLVED visit! I told them of the above situation. CHW then told me that GreenLite advised CHW that my fan blades were bent-not true, & that it was resolved! CHW then reaches out to Green Lite & they're told that they don't want to work with me! Now me & the tech had no issue-we only disagreed on the value of my fan. So in closing, CHW had another tech reattach the light fixture, & all is well.

Adam was more than professional in hearing my needs/wants and also explained how the units would work and what appropriate units to use. Estimate was written and was well below several estimates I had gotten already. The equipment that was quoted in estimate was far superior than what other companies were quoting me. Needless to say, I hired Dave and Adam to do the job. The install was professional and very neat and clean. Super happy with the work that was done. Everything from start to finish was super simple and easy. Highly recommend and will definitely use again for anything electrical related in the future.
