I was contemplating on writing this review, because of the fact that my son is not enrolled in services at this facility. However, my interaction with their administrative staff this morning left me wondering how many other parents/families experience the same interaction I had. I hate to leave businesses these type of reviews, but here my experience goes! I placed my son on the wait list several months ago after reading all of the wonderful Yelp reviews and this being so close to home. As we all know, there is such a high demand for speech services, so I was extremely glad that I was able to even place him on their wait list. Well, today I received a call from their facility. I was given the option of enrolling my son into two sessions (Thursday in the afternoon and Friday at 8am). I do understand that I selected the open availability selection, but seriously, 8am? That's the time I start work. Anyway, I didn't mention that to the admin lady. I asked her if I can give her a call back in five minutes. She proceeds to tell me, "I mean, I'm going down the list of parents who stated they have an open availability spot, so you can call me back, but this is a first come first serve type of spot." Or whatever she said at the end. Then she stated, "Open availability means you can come at anytime." Now, this irritated me because why would you try to be condescending? I also needed to consult the time with my husband given we work two different schedules and needing to confirm Friday at 8am would work for him. I would've also had to notify my supervisor who is extremely supportive. But, after she stated that I gave an attitude back and told her to remove my son from the waitlist then I hung up. I'm very disappointed given I felt this could've worked if she would've allowed me to confirm scheduling with 1. My husband and 2. My employer, however there wasn't much grace there which resulted in how the conversation ended. I hope your experience is better than mine! Company chooses families that will only give 5 star reviews. Company prioritizes money instead of quality services. Very high turnover rate so overall staff is inexperienced. Veronica the supervisor is not knowledgeable and delegates the work to inexperienced kids out of college. Wish I could give zero stars. read more

The Building Bridges program has been very beneficial for my son. He's now able to use utensils while eating. He's also able to communicate by signing. Just to name a few. Have a amazing of therapist. Veronica's door is always open if you have a question. read more

McRory Pediatrics Services have been a life changer for my son. He attended their Building Bridges program starting December of 2017 until he turned 3 years old. We were so grateful with the immense progress our son made and the support we received from the whole team that we decided to continued with them for additional services (OT, PT & Speech, awaiting ABA). "Mcrory" I'm really blessed to get services here.. it's already been 8 months now.. I started getting programs for my son when he was 2 yrs old, by that time he was hardly speaking 3 words and had behavioral issues... My son attends the Jump Start Program. This program has truly been the best thing for him and me! My son has Down Syndrome and I am a single working my mom. They have helped him develop a lot quicker than if he was only in daycare and they have taught me so many skills and given me the tools to help my son develop cognitively and to communicate better. I wish more parents of children with special needs or developmental delays knew of this program. It's truly life changing for the both of us. The staff / therapists are highly skilled & educated. More importantly they love what they do - it's evident in there interactions with the kids & parents. My little guy went for a assessment through Kaiser and I instantly fell in love, Larissa was so nice and I loved the way she took the time to hear my concerns and D's delays. After a few weeks D started in their Jump Start program, best program ever. We worked with different therapist that took the time out of their day to help our family. We are so great full to Dianna and all the Jump Start theorist. Amanda, Jenn, Tamara, Caroline and Elena truly love what they do. They will forever have a special place in our hearts. I cannot praise this place enough! Especially, in their new facilities. Wow- it's amazing and well worth the wait. Clean, well laid out, large and so much fun! I had two children that started in January of 2019. One child only needed OT for 6 months and I cannot tell you how amazing Shannon and the entire staff was to not only myself, but both children. Kind, thoughtful and understanding of both their individual abilities and needs. My second child is nearing the end of his feeding therapy. He went from eating five foods- to more than I can list! Carolyn is his therapist and we all love her like family. Very supportive and understanding- even when I wanted to give up! Other therapists at McRory have been so approachable and been so kind and friendly- always greeting me and the children. And not just to my family- other families. And the families are all so sweet and understanding there. It's like going home to a safe place. No judging and side eyes- just love, laughter and community. The facilities are very clean- and if there is a random flu or bug, they scrub that place down daily for weeks and months! It's a safe environment for everyone. And such a fun place to be! My kids love going there and I'm so thankful for their staff. Hands down- no other place I could imagine sending my children. My family is incredibly grateful for McRory and our wonderful speech therapist (Marieke). I am not exaggerating when I say that she has changed our lives in helping us communicate with our son, teaching him to confidently express himself, and easing our path through very difficult, scary parenting moments. The therapist who assessed my child was just wonderful. However, what good is a good therapist if you cannot get them?! We have been waiting for six months now to get therapy since assessment with no end in sight. Every month I call and I get the same answer, there should be an opening next month, they are interviewing therapists, they are waiting to move to a new location. If they are so full they should not do assessments and string patients along. Care delayed is care denied! read more

My son started out in the BB program at 1 1/2 years old. He's now 3, and just recently graduated. He's made leaps and bounds with his speech, behaviors, and OT. He's definitely the poster child for anyone who is questioning if this program really works. He was a baby that didn't say anything but mama, and baba, to having a 25-50 word vocabulary. He only drank bottles and ate baby food puree, to now eating over 20 foods. She is now two years old and McRory is our home, our therapists are like family and I can't say enough good things about McRory. The facilities are clean, the therapists are the best you can find, and I can't overstate that. Our daughter had some developmental delays, most noticeably in speech, she spoke only 2 words before starting with McRory. Now she is a fountain of speech with a broad vocabulary speaking in full sentences. McRory Pediatrics has become home away from home. Our son started the Building Bridges program when he was 2yrs old. I can't emphasize how AMAZING all the therapist are. They have become our second family. The services that were provided by McRory are the biggest factor to our son's amazing progress. Their early intervention program has to be one of the best you can find. All the therapist are so invsted in each child's progress along with providing services for the family if needed. All services are catered to each child's own needs. Not only have they provided exceptional services to our little one, but also have given guidance to our young adult son. I love Mcrory of Valencia..My son started with ABA therapy there 2 years ago. The therapist each one were great in their own ways. Very flexible with my schedule..Very accepting of my culture and traditions. I have been taking my son to McRory Pediatric Services for Social Skills classes for several months now. I could not be happier with the results I am seeing! He loves going! The therapist (Veronica) is really skilled and knows how to keep the kids engaged with one another and re-direct when necessary. I also really appreciate that the kids are able to go out into the community from time to time for different activities and do things typical teens do at this age. Very good program! My child has progress in her speech and language ever since starting the program last year.

My daughter has been at McRory in Valencia in Early Start Program for over a year now and it is the best thing I could ever ask for my child with development delays. All the therapist there work well and patiently with little kids and have even thought me some skills to keep the development going on outside of the therapy office. McRory is so great I even work with them outside of early start for more one on one speech therapy sessions and for my oldest child with OT sessions. I just can not say enough about the staff. Being at the office everyday of the week they start to become good friends. As a parent I also find it therapeutic to speak with other parents in the waiting lobby listening and exchanging experiences and conversations on having a child with special needs. It it no surprise their office plans to expand to another building across the street. I hope they also soon work with the Santa Clarita School Districts like they do with LAUSD. read more
