I had an accident while searching through…read moreboxes in a storage unit I fell, hit the corner of a bed frame and it cut my wrist pretty bad. I was alone at the time and wrapped my bleeding wrist and drove to the nearest hospital where after 45 minutes of not even getting back to triage I left. I wasn't sure if this walk-in clinic could help me because I knew I needed stitches but I thought I would stop and ask, so glad I did! After looking at my injury they immediately took me back and went to work on me. The entire staff was especially kind and helpful and I highly recommend this clinic!

The nurse practitioner FINALLY saw him, and sent him home without any antibiotics with a very bad upper respiratory infection. Needless to say, we went to an actual doctor where my son was prescribed antibiotics and soon recovered. The Practitioner is seemingly very uneducated at the Kingston ExacCare.

I thought I may have arrived at the wrong place it's so bad. I've been waiting an hour in an exam room (they have 4 total). All I hear is a party out at the "Clinical Station." I've had a very frustrating experience with Athens Family Practice. The older lady sitting on the…read moreright when you check in is consistently rude to patients. I've personally watched her speak disrespectfully not only to people checking in, but also to some of the employees. When you're already coming to a doctor's office stressed or not feeling well, the last thing you want is to be greeted with that kind of attitude. Their appointment scheduling also needs serious improvement. I was told there was an opening, got scheduled, and then when I showed up they told me the appointment was actually for a completely different day and time. That kind of mix-up wastes people's time and shouldn't be happening at a medical office. To make things even worse, they later told me I had "rescheduled too many times" and that they were considering dropping me as a patient -- which was extremely frustrating considering the scheduling confusion on their end in the first place. Unfortunately, the care itself didn't feel much better. It often seemed like the doctors were just trying to put a temporary bandage on issues instead of really figuring out what's going on and helping fix the problem. Overall, the front desk professionalism, scheduling system, and quality of care all need major improvement. Patients deserve to feel respected and confident in the care they're receiving, and that just wasn't my experience here.

I also use them as my primary care and feel heard. My Dr takes the time to listen to me and not in and out. I don't ever feel like just another number. I feel like a patient!
