I spoke to a Fast Pace Mental Health representative recently. The visit began on time and without…read moreapp issues after three weeks of waiting for a virtual app appointment. The assessment soon went south within a few minutes. She asked prepared questions, which made me uncomfortable quickly. Her inquiry felt odd, and her lack of professionalism made me uneasy. Considering this was my first visit with her and that we were getting to know each other professionally, I was able to endure the feeling. Thus, I did not immediately evaluate my unfavorable feelings from this process. She continued asking about my sexual promiscuity, which was worrying. At 63, I didn't think it needed to be asked multiple times because I informed her I've been happily married for 15 years in the first round. The fact that she would look at the computer monitor to identify the next line for her script and break eye contact while talking professionally made me feel even more uncomfortable. I ended the phone call since the conduct was no longer acceptable. I didn't think such an incident was a big deal until I called to make an appointment and tried to locate another therapist through them. Despite their 45-day notice provision, they did not notify me by mail or my insurance company.

However, the entire staff was fabulous, caring, and professional in every way possible. Receptionist was so very helpful, the nurse was exceptional, and the Nurse Practitioner was very caring and listened to my husband's concerns. Outside of the long wait (which was quite understandable given that this is COVID/flu/cold season), we couldn't have asked for any better treatment. I would return to this facility for any non-emergent issues occurring when I'm not able to get in to see my primary care team!

I started seeing Casey in early 2020 I believe. At first he seemed knowledgeable and understanding…read more Then I got Covid and was told basically they couldn't help me with the shortness of breathe I was beginning to have because they wouldn't see me in the office. I was left to deal with it on my own by going to the er or another walk in clinic. That should have been my first red flag. I continued to see him for different things that would come up, I had 3 different occasions where he called in a perception for me for medications I was ALLERGIC to. One time ended up taking at least one dose of it because I trusted my dr to be competent. Thankfully it only gave me very mild symptoms. I was just told today that they wouldn't see me as a patient anymore or prescribe the anxiety medication he recommended me try because of a $46 balance. However, I hadn't been billed for that amount. Also, the reason I owed that amount was because I went to his office for some UTI symptoms and paid for that appointment the day I was seen (which is usually what happens, you pay when you come in for the visit). He then told me to come back the following week for a yearly check up. His nurse Sandy left the room to confirm that my insurance covered that yearly check up, when she returned she told me it did so we scheduled the next appointment. I then went in the next week not required to pay anything when I went in like I usually had to do. Then about 3 weeks later I get a bill in the mail for the office visit and the blood work! This place really only cares about the money they can get from people. To be honest, I'm not sure why I stayed with them as long as I did since clearly medical incompetency could have been very bad for me with being prescribed medication I was allergic to. Medication that was clearly stated on EVERY form I had to fill out. I could have written one time off as a mistake but to have it happen 3 different times... that unacceptable! My suggestion find someone different! If you need a walk-in clinic go somewhere else, honestly anywhere else would be better than paying for help from someone who doesn't even read a chart before prescribing meds.

She was always pleasant and made it a good experience for me. She started out slowly but increased each visit. I was given exercises to do at home and with Lorretta's encouragement I increased stamina and could definitely see and improvement with each passing week. Even though it was hard work it was definitely a pleasant experience and I recommend this center for their conscientious and dedicated professionals. Our receptionist was always pleasant and helpful. From the…read morefront desk receptionist, triage, the nurses and doctors I've ALWAYS had an amazing experience and been treated extremely well. Given the amount of tests done at my last visit (all were accomplished including a CT scan within 45 minutes of arriving) I was still only there for four hours. They had other more critical patients who came in while I was well but the doctor gave me an anti inflammatory medication a bag of fluids and the nurse brought me a sandwich and crackers while we waited for the second round of tests to come back. As soon as the fluids were done the tests had come in already and prescriptions already called in--they had discharge papers in hand as soon as that was done. They are kind, respectful, patient, helpful, thorough and extremely prompt and attentive. People need to realize that the ER is a system of triage where the most critical patients come first. If someone comes in for a non critical reason and this happens they will need to wait (just as I did last night) since I was non critical. Regardless of the wait each time the tests are always completed in a timely manner and I don't have to wait hours for them to come give me results. Even if there are other more critical patients someone even if it's not my nurse will still come in to talk to me. They do a very good job here! If you are ever admitted the breakfast menu you get to call in and order room service from is awesome. Rooms are large and private and like I've said the staff are very kind and attentive. I appreciate them very much.
