She overshared personal details regarding her eating disorder, body image, her relationship status, no contact with her family, etc. I called and spoke to a manager and I was offered $30 off another massage. This was my first time ever at Pure Lux and while the massage itself and the amenities were great. The chattiness and oversharing was ALOT and did not really seem on brand with the vibe of the spa. When I left, I felt I had been trauma dumped on. The gift certificate I received was for my birthday and honestly, I just felt like it was such a waste because of the experience. And then just to be offered $30 off another massage really doesn't seem to be fair. My first experience there was crazy and the resolution was for me to come pay for another massage???
