Pros: Availability. This spa is in Manchester, so they had good availability. Wendy was definitely good at what she does! Randi has fabulous customer service. Later hours for us worker bees. Cons: Very low budget salon for such extremely high rates. Serious upselling to the point of discomfort for services, but no products in store because no one can afford to stock them. A little arrogant about how much better and more ethical she is over any other esthetician. Overall, I can't say I wouldn't return if the price was reasonable, but I get the same procedure in the Boro for $50 at a high end place now that would cost me $100 in Manchester at a small salon without any pressure to buy more services, but still happy to educate for when I'm ready.

I was pretty hesitant going into it just because I didn't know what to expect. Jane walked me through the process as she was going through the motions and it definitely helped me relax a bit better than someone just saying "okay, lay down and close your eyes!" haha! She gave me tips on how to keep my lashes looking good and even said if I have questions on if certain products are okay to use, that I could just reach out and she would help me figure out if they would be harmful or harmless towards the lashes. I would definitely recommend!!

HOWEVER, THIS WAS AMAZING!! Not only was I in the hands of a trusted friend who had not only worked so hard for this, but she knew all the ins and outs of why I may be experiencing specific skin issues!! Her touch was incredibly gentle, yet firm and solid. I was nervous but Melinda put me at ease and I was so comfortable! We are already scheduled for our next session! I cannot wait! I was greeted cheerfully upon entering, and was impressed at the cleanliness and great decor of this place. The prices are really reasonable, and I was given a tour of all the different levels of beds, of which there are four... from the basic of days of old, to the high tech ones... and even the leg tanners, spray booths, and red light therapy, which I understand helps with acne! Imagine that... I was duly impressed and signed up for a package of five visits in a level three hot bed, and got down to business. (There are even towels on a shelving unit you can grab if you think you need one...) The bed is quite futuristic and really comfortable with plenty of bulbs and fans, and the room has a chair, hooks to hang your purse, clothes, or whatever. A little "sawhorse" sign assures you that the bed had been cleaned, and it definitely looks like it! The controls to turn it on/off are right by the head of the bed on the wall, and the bed is huge! Plenty of room to get comfy. Nothing like the little beds from back in the day that felt like coffins... LOL... I'm glad I'm not claustrophobic, because I'm not sure how people like that ever did it back then! Anyway, it was a great visit, and I'm really impressed by the place, the equipment, and especially the people. If you want a tan... whether in a bed or by spray... red light therapy... or even a body wrap... they're a distributor for IT Works Body Wraps... stop on it! You'll love 'em!!!
