But I think what surprised me most was the credit card offer when I went to check out. Sales are rare here so it was an opportunity for me to save a few dollars, $25 to be exact! I probably won't use the credit card much, but who knows, maybe a small home improvement project this spring? In the past I've gotten less decorative home improvement things here, but also some quality floor lamps and I think my medicine cabinet. I've always found the customer service to be good, and if you don't sneak in an exit you will find a greeter able to assist you in most cases. My one negative impression would be their lack of cashiers, they are actively encouraging self checkout. With so many items in inventory it can clog up the process when a few folks are having issues with the register. On the sales floor there does appear to be enough help.
