I've been working almost exclusively with Dr. Jeong, the lead clinician. After a thorough examination of my shoulders (there's very little left of my rotator cuffs) Dr. Jeong started me on a comprehensive program of acupuncture and electro-stim plus a personalized exercise program. With Dr. Jeong's expert treatment and compassionate guidance, I've improved incredibly, and I can now lift both arms above my head, which I couldn't do before. And, I've learned volumes about shoulder function as I've continued to grow stronger and more flexible. I'm so happy I found Dr. Jeong!

He walked through all the steps to understand my pain, assess my needs, and explain the various components of chiropractic care that they'd recommend. It's really cool how they can feel your bones and know exactly what's going on to cause you pain. He's great at explaining the "why" behind the pain and giving tips to mitigate. My second visit was with Dr. Kang and she pinpointed the challenging area and confirmed she could feel where the pain was emanating from, and knew exactly what to do to help provide relief in the area. The entire team -- doctors and staff -- all make each patient feel warm, welcomed, and cared for. They're a talented bunch! We're really lucky to have such a great chiropractic clinic here in our neighborhood. I'll be recommending them to all my friends! As you can see with all the abundantly positive reviews, they are definitely top notch and worth checking out. You'll be glad you did. Thank you Dr. Jeong and Dr. Kang and your entire team for making such a positive impression and bringing a great experience during each of my visits.

Dr. Fan has a gentle, wise nature that puts you instantly at ease and the acupuncture had an immediate effect as I had never gone to one before. I scheduled an appointment with Eastern Roots Wellness after confirming that they accepted…read moreinsurance, including my United Healthcare plan which covers acupuncture. I booked the visit a couple of weeks in advance, completed all required forms, and provided my insurance information. They also required full payment upfront, explaining it would be adjusted later to account for any copays or insurance coverage. When I arrived for the appointment, the receptionist immediately informed me that Eastern Roots was not in-network with United Healthcare and that I could instead submit an out-of-network claim. That was not an acceptable option, as out-of-network costs are significantly higher. It was clear the practice knew this in advance but failed to notify me until after I had driven over an hour to get there. When I requested a refund--since I was unwilling to proceed with a provider that misrepresented their insurance status--they refused, citing their 24-hour cancellation policy. However, I hadn't canceled the appointment; I arrived in good faith, expecting coverage. Only once I learned the true facts, which the clinic already knew, did I decline to continue. To make matters worse, the owner, Sarah Alemi, did not speak with me directly and instead sent an email referencing the cancellation policy. At this point, I have disputed the charge with my credit card company. I would strongly caution others to verify network participation and transparency before booking with this practice
