The office has friendly staff and a pleasant front desk. I really appreciated the thorough and efficient service we have received both times. This office respects your time and won't hold you hostage waiting in the waiting room. My only complaint is having to wait months to be seen. It's somewhat of an ordeal with consultation (that takes weeks to schedule) - then the insurance red tape-then trying to get an appointment especially when you are in the midst of excruciating pain. Excellent post op instructions. Thank you Dr L for taking care of my husband. They try their best- there are too many people needing services and not enough resources here.

I made a call yesterday, 6/18/15 to another oral surgeon, and they scheduled a consultation visit for 7/26/15. Yup, over a month. I was supposed to advise my dentist when I had made an appointment. They were not happy that I was to wait that long. I told them that Milano and Mazza were close enough that I would consider going there. I hung up and in less than 15 minutes, I received a call from M&M's office to schedule my appt for today with Dr Mazza. (I'm just gonna call them M&M from now on, it seems easier, hehe) I thought I needed two visits, that I would have one procedure done, and a consult on the second procedure. But nope...they did it all in one shot, which I am thrilled about. I saw Dr. Mazza today, during the prep and the procedure, he showed great concern for any pain or discomfort that I might feel. I tried to make it clear that pain in the dentist chair does not bother me, since I know it's temporary. But I could tell that he wanted me to be comfortable and pain free. Post-procedure, Dr. Mazza went over followup care in detail, answering any questions...the usual stuff that you get from a good doctor. The staff is very friendly and I felt less like a patient and more like a customer :) I'm glad that the other place I attempted to visit was booked, and that I had to schedule with Dr Mazza. If you require the services of an oral surgeon, do yourself a favor and visit them first.

I will never bring my family back here, and I strongly advise others to look elsewhere for care. We walked in for an appointment today and immediately felt an incredibly uncomfortable vibe. The waiting room was heavily decorated in a way that felt more like a political rally, maga boomer living room VA, than a neutral medical facility. In a lighthearted, almost joking manner, I asked the front desk receptionist, "Is this a MAGA dentistry?" Instead of a direct answer, she just replied that it was "America's birthday." Okay, sure.....and i wish that I got the decorations on the tree. I sat down to fill out paperwork, but literally 30 seconds, the only other patient in the waiting room decided to intervene. Having overhead my question, she stood up, walked over, and completely accosted my son and me. She began screaming at us, demanding that we leave, and claimed she was taking pictures of us. What makes this completely unacceptable is the staff's reaction: * Total Inaction: The office workers sat by and did absolutely nothing. They allowed a grown adult to scream at a parent and a 14-year-old child in their own waiting room. * Lack of Privacy Protection: They permitted another patient to threaten our privacy inside a medical facility. * Blaming the Victim: When I called the office later to address how poorly this was handled, the staff blamed me for the incident and hung up the phone. My son was smart enough to start recording when she approached us. I am sharing the video below to show the interactio, no faces are shown, but you can see the sheer hostility we faced. A medical office should be a safe, professional, and neutral environment for all patients. Instead, Milano and Mazza Oral Surgery proved to be an incredibly unprofessional environment with a staff that refuses to protect or respect their clients. My money will absolutely never go to a business that aligns with this environment and treats families this way. My original question was obviously answered by them not answering me at all. Nor, the very least, telling that lady to stop. The lady screaming is a patient too.

The staff was friendly and upfront with what it would cost and what my insurance would cover. The office is clean and modern. Dr. Sheeran took the time at my pre-op to answer all my questions and let me know what I could expect in my recovery. The procedure itself went very well. I recommend following the post-op instructions exactly, which included eating right away. It really helped prevent soreness and I had surprisingly little swelling. I would definitely recommend this office for wisdom teeth extraction.

For the past two weeks, I have been dealing with the most horrendous tooth pain I've ever…read moreexperienced in my life. Honestly, a 10/10 on the pain scale. Let's face it, I haven't met one person in life who says they looked forward to going to the dentist. But nervously I made the appointment on a Monday begging for them to please squeeze me in asap to remove the tooth. They very kindly were able to get me an appointment the very next day with Dr. Sheeran. My tooth was infected, so they had to give me Anesthesia to remove the tooth. I have to say, I can not thank Dr. Sheeran enough for what he did. The man is no less than a miracle worker! He is very kind, courteous, with excellent bedside manner. I felt completely at ease from the minute I met him until the time the removal was done. Not only that, but he inserted the greatest IV I've ever had in my life! I Could barely even feel a pinch. We joked a little, talked about golf, and next thing you know what felt like five seconds later I'm wide awake and the procedure was complete. Here we are less than 24 hours after the tooth removal, and I have ZERO pain. No bleeding, no discomfort, nothing. Words can't even begin to express how happy I am to have met Dr Sheeran and have him work on me. Believe me when I tell you, the man is extremely gifted at what he does. I also have to say how friendly and professional his entire staff is. The 2 ladies at the desk were a complete joy to deal with, as well as Dr Sheeran's assistant that aided him with the surgery. From start to finish, everyone was amazing. I hope I never have to experience this type of tooth issue again, but if I do, I'm definitely going back to Dr Sheeran.

5/25/21 wow!!!!! I'm new to the area just two months ago and I was torn if I should keep the…read moredentist I love-American Dental Excellence- or switch to a dentist not 70 miles away. I was having molar pain and it almost felt like a tooth dying so I thought "root canal". I was amazed that Sherry Dental made time to see me and I wasn't even their actual patient. I was seen at 1:30 today. They explained their covid procedures, hand washing, download the patient forms, come in on time, etc. they took me right away. The front desk was welcoming and pleasant. The assistant was helpful and took me back to the pano x Ray machine after I "de accessorized". Dr Zachary Emerson was the dentist who saw me. He is youthful and exuberant. Very pleasant and welcoming. He asked me some questions and actually complimented my existing dental work noting the high quality and expertise of the previous dentist. My pain was caused due to "recession". Oh how great it is getting old! I'm planning to have him do my check up in the next few weeks but in the Tamaqua office. I appreciated the peace of mind even though I have some pain-I'll survive. Hell I had two children without anesthesia!
