I took my 2006 Cadillac in because I had a Oh well go drive and I'll talk to you later OK I love youtransmission fluid leak. Made an appointment for 1PM on Monday, the man in the service department asked if I could leave it overnight. Agreed and rented a car for 2 days. My husband called late Monday afternoon and was told they hadn't even looked at because they were behind. Question 1 is why didn't they call me before my appointment and reschedule. Tuesday we called at 10AM and they hadn't even looked at it. Spoke to person in service department. The service person said he would call back, he didn't. We told them at the outset that we needed the car by noon Wednesday because we were going to Sarasota.called back at 1PM and he was at lunch, left a message for him to call about the status of the car. Once again he did not call back. Called at 4PM and no return call. Called at 5PM and he said they just put it on the lift and the mechanic was gone for the day. I told him to cancel the oil change and tire rotation. I called Wednesday morning and he told me what was wrong and quoted $6600 with no guarantee. Told him I was coming to pick up the car. They did the oil change and tire rotation even though I told him not to do it. Got a bill for $213.03 asked why and she said the diagnostics. Got home and looked at the back of the statement there is a checklist but nothing was checked. See picture below

Do yourself a favor and avoid this dealership! On August 31, 2019 I bought my daughter a 2006…read moreChevy Malibu from Jim and as of September 26, 2019 we had it in our possession for about 2 and a half days. The rest of the time, it sat in his mechanics garage. We put gas in it the second day we had it and the gauge went to full, back down to empty and the check engine light lit up. We took it to AutoZone and ran a diagnostic, which came back as "Fuel Level Sensor A Circuit High Input." I called Jim and Priscilla, they said to bring it to them, and they would have it fixed. After several days of sitting at the garage, they said it was ready. We live in Pensacola, but off to Milton we drove to pick up the car. Jim told me they replaced the fuel pump and that we would not have any further issues. They did provide us with a loaner vehicle. I spoke to Jim on the phone after I picked it up and he said they had to solder a piece of metal or something, which took a long time. After having the car back for one day, I get a phone call from my daughter in a panic because she is broken down on the side of the road coming home from school. She could turn on the car, but no gas was getting to the engine. I called Priscilla to let her know and she says to have it towed to them. Since my roadside assistance only allows for fourteen miles, I pay the $20.00 difference to get the vehicle towed to them. Once again, it sits in their mechanic Brian's garage for close to a week. No loaner during this time, which was an inconvenience. I check on it and they said it is ready and I can come and get it. Jim tells me they replaced the fuel pump. But wait, didn't they already do that the first go around? Nope, they allegedly replaced a sensor the first time, and did not replace the fuel pump as was told to me the first time I had it there. Over the course of this week, I talk to Priscilla who tells me that Brian is her ex-husband and apparently, they do not get alone very well. She says to tell Jim I want a different mechanic to work on my car or I want my money back. After my conversation with Priscilla, the mechanic Brian calls me and essentially blames us for the car not working. He says we overfilled the tank. Now, I've been driving for about forty years in all sorts of vehicles, I don't stand there and keep pumping gas into a car once the pump stops. He denies soldering anything and doesn't know what Jim is talking about. He also tells me that his wife Priscilla ripped him off for tens of thousands of dollars, and goes into this whole sob story. I reply that it is none of my business and that I just want the car fixed. We drive back to Pensacola and my daughter goes to the gas station and take a guess about what happens next. If you said, the gas tank went to full, then empty and the check engine light came on, you would be the winner. I instruct her to take it to AutoZone and the diagnostic result is identical to the first one. So much for any work having been completed on this car. Back to them it goes. Jim tells me that he will not refund my money, but will let me have another car at wholesale. I originally thought that might a good compromise until he wanted me to come up with another $3100.00. He says I can either take the other car for the extra $3100.00 or take the Malibu. Those are my only two choices. I replied that he sold us a bad car and he replied, "you drove it didn't you?'Having no other choice, I go back to Milton to pick up the Malibu, which again is on empty. I told Jim that the car was empty and he gave me $20.00 to put gas in it to get home. Care to take a guess what happened when I put gas in it on the way home. Yes, that old familiar gauge up and gauge down right after. Moral of the story. I should have had the car checked out by an independent mechanic before purchasing, but blaming me for not doing so to justify selling me a lemon is unethical.
