Nothing but issues here anytime I need service. I left a previous review that I now cannot find.. all I need this time is a simple oil change. Called 3x one day last week- first time I was told the service advisor was having system issues and to call back in 5 mins. Gave her 20 mins, called back no answer. Call again and someone else told me she would call me back. Nothing!! Call today and no available appointments now til next week. Do not recommend this service department..it's the same customer service issues with the same service advisor each time. read more

I originally called on Wednesday to schedule an oil change. I called at about 9:00 AM and was told that the people that handle that are with customers and that somebody would call me back. It got to 4 PM that day and I still never heard anything so I called back again. Somebody did answer and was able to help me even though they did lie and say somebody called me, but I never got a call but at that point it didn't matter I was at least talking to somebody. I had a question about an appointment and then the associate Elizabeth told me to call her back the next day to confirm the appointment. I called back Thursday morning and again was told that she was with a customer and that they took down my information and that she would call me back. This was also probably about 9 AM. It then got to 4 PM. I didn't hear anything so I called back again. Another person now told me that she wasn't at her desk. They would leave her a message and that she would call me back again. She never called me back. I then called Friday morning probably again at the same time 9 AM and she actually was the one who answered she again told me she was still with a customer and that she would call me back within a few minutes. I then again waited until about 4:30-5pm still no call back so I called again. I did speak to somebody who answered the phone and I'll be honest I was a little upset and I told them that I was kind of frustrated and said that Elizabeth must be the busiest person in the company because it's been three days now and no one's been able to give me a call back. I'm guessing she probably told her that and again that's why I didn't get a call back all I wanted to do was schedule an oil change and confirm an appointment that she told me to call her back about this has been such a frustrating situation. I really regret buying my car here at this point if this is how I'm gonna be treated just to schedule a simple oil change clearly you don't care about the customer once they buy the car you only care about the customer while they are currently buying the car. just horrible customer service all the way around for just such a simple task and if anybody asks me if they should buy a car here I'm absolutely saying no. read more

The service department is absolutely horrible lately. The lady is always to busy and has to call you back which she never does. Came in almost 3 months ago to have pictures taken of the paint peeling off my new trucks bumper. They took the pictures and told me they would submit to gm for approval. waited about a month with no call back so I called and come to find out the guy quit. Was told I have to come back in for new pictures. Came back in and a lady took the pictures this time and told me that's a dent and they dont cover dents. Had to explane to her there isn't a dent anywhere on truck and this is paint peeling off bumper she finally agreed with me and told me she will submit pics to gm for approval. Fast forward almost 2 months still no call or update so I give them a call again and was told this time pics were just submitted to sales reps last week and she doesn't think my truck will be covered because of "plow hooks" I put on the truck. The hooks she was talking about are the tow hooks every Silverado comes with from factory not "plow hooks" the truck has never had a plow on it. Brought to different dealer was approved and in paint shop in less than 1 week with a loaner to use also. I have yet to get a call from McKay saying if this was even approved or not after almost 3 months but at this point it doesn't matter another local dealer took care of everything in a week when McKay gave me the run around and lies for 3 months and still nothing read more

Just picked up my car yesterday and my salesman, Manny Williams, gave me the best sales experience I've had, car or otherwise. Fantastic personality and so eager to please. The service staff needs some servicing. The service writer can be short and unfriendly. The service manager seems constantly overworked and stressed. Maybe he should consider retiring. I brought my suv in for a follow up Car Play issue and after 2 hours was told it was fixed. Not so. Didn't even make it out of the driveway when I noticed that apparently nothing had been done. When I asked the service manager, what was done, he told me I would have to come back and leave the car for a full day. He also told me the tech that worked on the car owned an android phone. Not very helpful for solving an Apple CarPlay problem. The service manager was clearly unhappy with me and my problem and told me if I didn't like the service to go to another dealer. I told him that is exactly what I was going to do. If you need service take his advice. read more

If I could leave a negative star I would. Horrible sales tactics. Bait and switch prices online. Not transparent. Had to ask multiple times never got straight answers. Saw a car on the web and took the 25 min drive to check it out. In our price range, mileage....took it for a test drive and felt it wasn't for me. I was repeatedly asked what are you looking for and explained certain things I wanted which were not available. Salesman brought another car similar in price and mileage. When he pulled up, the exhaust was rattling loudly, there was a very strong cigarette and weed smell. I said this was not for me and I would continue to look. The salesman said he was going to get his card for us. Perfectly fine! Then out came another gentleman and introduced himself as the Sales Manager, Sean McKay and pushed and pushed and pushed and we said, we wanted to look around... These 2 gentlemen were terribly pushy and we said, we are done looking for now. Pushed some more...my husband said and insisted we were done for the day. Twice the salesman said he was going to go for his card, NEVER returned. This did it for us!!! Never returning and DON'T RECOMMEND. You don't show a car with rattling and stench! McKay lost customers and ruined any reference from us. read more

I wish I read the yelp reviews before driving an hour to McGee/McKay. I just read all the one star reviews and that happened to us. At that point everything fell apart. We never did see an actual price presented. Even after the head honcho appeared. read more

Will and Joel were super helpful here. When we pulled in, Will and his coworkers were waiting out front and happy to help any customers arriving. After test driving the truck my boyfriend and I had seen online, we were interested in buying. At first, Will tried crunching some numbers that weren't in our price range. Quickly after, Joel came into the office and discussed the numbers with us in more depth and came back with a monthly payment we wore more comfortable with. Amy then helped us at the end. We ended up purchasing the truck! Thank you so much McGee Chevrolet for making the typical dreaded car experience so smooth, painless, informative, and exciting all in one! read more

The salesman said we would get a great deal. Look around it's a ghostown. We made a offer, he came back at full price. We left. They chased us in the parking lot, wasted more of our time when they came back out and again said no we can't lower the price. My son got a call a few days later, come in we will make a deal. He came home pissed. No deal still full price. Wasted his time again. Luckily there are a million other places to buy a car because we will never go back here again. They just kept the lies coming. read more

I have been with Mcgee for more than 9 years and they have been super honest and very helpful, both George and everyone in the building, secretaries, all very polite and the most important thing is that I am Puerto Rican and my language is unlimited and they quickly seek help in any language so that you feel more comfortable with any concern you have or question. I came back again for George and also met Ivan. I was surprised by his perfect Spanish and English. He also speaks Cobobardian, so there's no excuse. My people, stop by McKay. Absolutely terrible experience. Do not buy a car from here. Sales people are awful and give zero transparency about how much it is going to cost you. Joel is probably the worst sales person I have ever encountered. Zero communication after buying the car about getting my plates and sticker. This place stinks!!!! I using stinks in place of a stronger word if you get my drift. I will tell everyone I know to never go there and have them tell their family and friends also!!! I purchased a used vehicle and as I'm getting ready to leave I am handed one key fob and am told at that time that the vehicle only has the one. So I say I want another key fob because I was not told until I'm ready to leave and all the papers are signed that they only have one. I am told no that is not their policy. I told them if I had known befo5 I bought the vehicle I would have negotiated another one in the deal or may not have bought the vehicle. I did not spend over $34,000 to have to go spend another three or four hundred dollars on a second key fob . This did not matter to them. Instead of making a customer happy and satisfied they were ok with me being unhappy and willingness to take the bad review!!! Also the day I bought the car when I left the dealership it was dark so I did not see until the next day that they did a lousy job. I brought it back and showed my sales guy and even he was like oh no I'm gonna get that redone for you that is unacceptable. So I brought it back to have a rim fixed and the detailing redone and had the unpleasant experience with one of the managers about the key fob and left their very upset and forgot to check out the detailing and when I got home I looked and they never did the detailing even though I got a call telling me my vehicle was all set!!!! I would not send my worst enemy there. They do not care about their customers satisfaction!!!! read more

I contacted the sale staff about purchasing a 2021 Subaru. The price listed was reasonable but I inquired if it was negotiable and I was assured it was prior to taking an hour ride there. Not only was the price non negotiable but they indicated the advertised price was actually contingent on financing through them, which was not part of their advertisement for the car. Very dishonest business practices. I would highly recommend you look elsewhere for a car. read more

My daughter saw a car online at McGee Chevrolet and I accompanied her to the dealership to look at the vehicle. Having purchased several vehicles from various dealerships, I was very impressed by our experience at McGee. We were greeted right away by Regi and he was extremely helpful throughout the process. He sat us down and discussed the terms of purchase, and carefully described several financing options that were available to my daughter. After a quick test drive, Regi worked with us towards reaching a deal that worked best for my daughter. With the help of Regi, and Joel, the sales manager, my daughter was able purchase the vehicle she wanted at a very fair price. This was all done in about 2 hours, which is absolutely incredible when it comes to completing a car purchase. All in all, I couldn't imagine having the process go more smoothly than it did. Based on our experience, I'd strongly recommend McGee Chevrolet to anyone in the market for a new or used vehicle! read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Funny how a few bad interactions changes so much. I had a pleasant experience working with Manny, that's it! When I went for a recent oil change and found missing lug nuts after I began questioning if the ones that were left were torqued correctly....come to find out at a local to me Toyota dealer they were all loose and that's a HUGE safety concern! The Toyota dealer replaced my lug nut at a fee to be covered by McGee and then I asked about some rust on my tailgate. Come to find out my entire rear bumper and tailgate were painted and never reported. Now whether McGee knew of didn't know these fact unknown to me it's how this matter of my concern was handled. I told Katherine about my concern and she promised to speak with the owner herself as she was meeting with him today, never got a return call. Called for a third time today and got Brian who apparently is a sales manager, MY GOODNESS I've never been so insulted with the way anyone's ever spoken to me. When I told him my concerns instead of showing empathy and understanding he yelled at me stating "do you really think the owner Jamie that owns 17 locations really cares about your painting bumper?" That's when I decided to end the call. I saved for years to upgrade my vehicle and felt I was blindsided on a large purchase . They handled my concern wrong and if they had only listened and apologized that would have sufficed. read more

Two stars because the oil change/techs area is what saves from getting a zero. Poor customer service. Third truck I have leased from McGee, now Mkay. This month makes one year with this one. When I leased this one the finance guy made a smart remark; I let that one go. Truck only has 4500 miles on it. Wanting to take care of the truck and do an oil change prior to needing one I called to schedule an appointment. Left a voicemail in the morning. Didn't get call back so I called later in the evening prior to going into work at night. I received hostility and an attitude from the women in charge of service. Once that attitude stopped, I received more attitude for wanting to do the oil change prior to recommended mileage and having the same oil for a year was not suffice for a change. So, I waited and had the oil change done yesterday. I go to pick up today and head inside and state that the transponder is not where they said they would leave it and was treated with attitude. From there I kept my mouth shut and waited for my transponder to be found. I was given a comment under the female's breath of ' he rolled his eyes at me '; that didn't happen, but whatever. Three trucks, greater than 8 years with this place and this is my last. I will return this one in less than two years and will take my business elsewhere. I will also let Mkay know not to contact me and solicit anything further during the remaining time of this current contract. I pay good money as a customer and their service makes you feel like you're bothering them! read more

We were basically held hostage at this dealer ship, as they took the keys to look at our vehicle to appraise it for a trade in. Then they continued to push and push despite us telling them 14 different ways that we were not committing to anything at this point due to the newer vehicle not being exactly what we were looking for at their price. They continued to "negotiate" our monthly price down by extending our loan and asking for more of a down payment. We will not be returning to this Chevy dealer nor should anyone else. read more

What a bunch of chode jugglers. Aaron would not honor the online sale price of $15,100 on a base 2020 malibu LS. He instead offered me a price of $22,000! Over $7,000 more than sale price. What a joke. When I said no, he tried selling me a 2018 malibu with 6k miles for $19,000. No way pal I repeated that I wanted sale price of $15k, so he offers me a Chevy Spark instead. I saw all the 1 star reviews but still gave them the benefit of the doubt as I had purchased multiple cars there in the past when it was McGee, all with good service. NOT this time! I went in and was very honest with I was looking at and what I was looking to pay. I was told one thing, then when I went into the finance office the deal changed, LIES! I ended up walking out and not signing anything. I went to another dealer and was treated with respect. I put $ down on a car still in transit. McKay reached out again, I told them it was too late I put a deposit down, they begged me to come back that they would beat the other dealerships deal. I told them exactly what I was getting and they assured me they would beat it to come back. LIES again. Sure they were going to beat the month payment by extending the loan which would have ended up costing me more total AND they didn't even have the car with all the options that they told me 1 hour prior they had. Be careful and watch the numbers, they think they are slick and try to take advantage of people, totally misrepresent themselves. They try to sell you on the monthly payment but when the loan is extended to 75 or 84 months increases the overall price you are paying. Be sure you get the Total price/cost you are paying. I understand they are salesmen trying to make a sale but to do it on lies and deceit is so wrong. Would NOT recommend this dealership for anything, not even an oil change - I will bring my money elsewhere. Can't wait to pick up my new vehicle in 2 weeks from a trustworthy dealership in Bourne. read more

Beware of their bait and switch tactics. I found a new car online, and confirmed the availability and price with an employee over the phone and email. I arrived to find it had "just sold 30 minutes ago to an old lady". The associate Anthony attempted to tell me there were similar cars available, but at 15-20k more, and I likely wouldn't have qualified for the discounts on the first car. The sales manager Josh then attempted to show me used cars for the same price as the new car. I confirmed the car is still on site on my way out. I will avoid this location in the future, and would recommend anyone else do the same. read more

New Update: COME TO FIND THAT THIS TRUCK WAS SUBMERGED!! I HAD TO PULL UP THE CARPET TO RUN SOME WIRES AND FOUND MUD AND THICK DIRT UNDER ALL THE CARPETS.THEY OBVIOUSLY DO NO CHECK OUT THE VEHICLES THE SELL! McGee Certified is a scam, they don't do anything to them. Bought my truck from them in September got it home and the change oil light came on and yes the oil had not been changed, Had to bring it back twice for the front and rears brakes to be done. The front brakes squeaked after they were done brought it back and they said it was fixed and they are still squeaking. Also When I went to use the windshield wipers the drivers side was ripped. And to make me feel really good about my purchase as I am walking to my new truck I here a salesman say to another salesman "that truck was beat". They will tell you anything to make a sale. Wrote a letter to the General Manager and the Partner explaining the issue and gave them time to respond before posting negative reviews but was never contacted! Update: this truck came with 2 free oil changes, I would never let them work on my vehicle. it is very obvious from the quality of parts they put in the braking system that they would most likely use the cheapest oil they could. I brought my truck to a reputable dealer to have the oil changed. If I could rate them lower than a 1 If I could! read more

My wife and I purchased a used 2021 Chevrolet Colorado this past weekend. In the end with fees it was around $39,000. When I went and picked up the truck yesterday the salesman hands me a set of keys. When I asked him for the second set he said that this vehicle came to them with just the one set. I then asked if they could provide me with a second set. The salesman quoted between 3 and 4 hundred dollars. I asked if McGee would split the cost. He said that I should have negotiated that during the purchase. I said that I hadn't been made aware of the single key situation. When I enquired why he hadn't told me about the keys, he said, "that wouldn't be a selling point". The salesman then offered to purchase a set of keys from someone he knew that was a third party car key business that would be cheaper.
