Ron and I are same sex partners, we met in Philippines 3 years before applying for our fiancé visa, I am British, he is a Philippines national. We successfully obtained Ron's visa only a few weeks after lodging our application, it was issued just prior to the lockdown. The speed of decision reflects a well presented application which appears to get a decision sooner.
I employed McGill and Co not because they are the cheapest, many other agents claim to do the same service more cheaply. Obviously we were very happy with the outcome, although putting together all the necessary evidence and documentation was very far from simple and required guidance and an independent view from a lawyer/agent. I believed our case was strong but there is no room for complacency, success cannot be guaranteed.
Amna Ashraf dealt with our case. Amna (and her assistant Dalia) were highly professional in their dealings with us, Amna is obviously very experienced and clued up on all the potential pitfalls and problems associated with the process. Anyone looking for a similar visa needs to be aware that the Home Office process is constantly under review and is subject to change. Much of the info published online is incorrect, misleading or out of date, so it is vital to get face to face advice. Amna is diligent in the extreme and was unwilling to lodge our application until she was satisfied that we had presented our case in the best possible light, given our circumstances. I would recommend this firm without reservation. If you fail to get your visa using them I am confident it will not be due to any shortcomings on their behalf.
Thanks again!
