Gordon came round the next day and had a look at my gutters. Even taking pictures of them to show me how bad they were!!! One was actually blocking one of my downpipes and could have caused me major problems. Gordon was professional and honest at all times and got the job done in no time at all. Showing me pictures of my clean and empty gutters. It was refreshing to have a trustworthy person to come to my home and provide a great service. I booked a one off cleaning service with this company. The cleaner was punctual and polite and did…read morea great job. However, when I returned she said she had opened the windows and since it was a yellow wind warning in Glasgow, one of the internal doors slammed hard and got stuck! She couldn't open it again and neither could I. Eventually I got a locksmith to come out for a charge of £147. I contacted the company to let them know and ask if they had insurance for this type of event and Adele sent a very rude email accusing me of making it up! The standard of cleaning was very good so I would have booked them again for another job but clearly their website rhetoric about satisfaction is completely fabricated. I would steer clear of this company. Updated to add that Adele continued to send me aggressive emails attacking my character and I had to request that she no longer contact me! Worrying behaviour.

I don't know…read moreif it will pass the letting agents inspection, but I can tell you it's the most clean I've seen any flat in Edinburgh...and that's after having a dog in the flat. I'm really impressed with their work. The guy who came was professional, polite, and to himself. He was also helpful, giving advice about cleaning the external side of the windows and knowing what agents are looking for; so that he does it correct. He cleaned and polished the hardwood floors and just did a great job at detailing the place.

The younger generation of the family have now taken hold of the reigns and any vestiges of a decent upstanding business have long since departed. W Cannon & Sons of 8 Castlehill Crescent, ML3 7DG, are confidence tricksters. If you care to visit the companies website the portfolio gallery is very impressive, the only problem being, is that all the examples of W Cannon & Sons work are stock images that originate from other more creditable building contractors. You can check this for yourself using the internet image checking service TinEye. The work to our property was contracted out to Eastern European workers and was very loosely overseen by the illusive Martin Cannon, who acted as our point of contact and the workers gang master. No one seemed to have much knowledge of construction or any appetite for work. The workers relieved themselves wherever and whenever it took their fancy and most of them looked to be under the influence of something or other. All in all it was not a pleasant experience to feel so uncomfortable in and around our own home. The extension to our property built by W Cannon & Sons was constructed to such a poor standard it was beyond rectification. Due to serious safety concerns the extension had to be demolished within five years of its eventual completion. It was deemed to be both dangerously unstable and a fire hazard. W Cannon & Sons are swindlers and charlatans. I would not recommend them under any circumstances.
