The service honestly was terrible. The people behind the counter were rude when we tried to order at the counter and told us they were only accepting kiosk orders. Then proceeded to have an attitude after we ordered. Then they did not have an item on the menu being advertised and were completely rude when telling us they didn't have it by yelling across the restaurant repeatedly "we don't have it" instead of saying it nicely. We travel through this area monthly and normally stop down the street at Dairi-O. We thought we'd give this McDonald's a try. To our disappointment, the inside of the restaurant was horrendous! The front of the building was noticeably untouched trash all over the floors, of course someone threw " wet floor" sign up like this masks the mess. The bathrooms, they hadn't been cleaned in at least a day or so, trash, dirty diapers, etc scattered. Forget ordering food here.. what's the kitchen look like!?! Back to Dairi-O for us. Why the other reviews are so low I'll never know, but I always pre-order through the app (the few times that I even order & eat McDonald's simply because I don't frequent fast food restaurants) and arrive to retrieve my order from the numbered pick up spaces directly in front of the restaurant. My French fries are always steaming hot & fresh like I request, they always hold those gross, slimy onions on my burgers like a request, and the orders are always coming out fast... like I prefer!! So... There's really nothing to complain about when it comes to their customer service, as far as I'm concerned. I must say, though, that I immensely appreciate the various coupons and special deals within the app because that's the only time I will patronize this worldwide food chain. Easy stop off of 52 North at exit #116. This McDonalds has double drive through lanes and designated numbered parking spots for staging drive thru customers still waiting. Inside is an updated clean looking McDonalds Cafe with kiosk for placing your order, ability to use the app and order ahead, or the old school method of talking to a bilingual employee at the register. I chose the friendly real person. Our order of breakfast sandwiches, meals include hash browns and a drink, were quickly ready, packaged to go. Cold soft drinks and iced tea are self service. The area was well stocked and clean. Our order was correct, food was hot and consistent in quality to every other McDonalds I've been to. I'd return to this McDonalds, for $15 I fed 3 adults a hot breakfast in a few minutes and we were back on the road quickly. read more

Employees took our order and made us sit in the line for thirty minutes and had a car block everyone in the line not telling us they were closing the store saying it was open till 11... went to second window and to people where cleaning the kitchen... and ignored us at the window with our tea at the window and bags near front register. Employees do not wear face masks properly. Even the manager who was handling the food did not have the face mask over her mouth.

The absolute worst McDonald's I have ever been to. Out of the last 10 trips, my order has been wrong 8 times. The employees obviously do not care, and they are lacking management. An employee working the register told me "I don't know how to make it a meal, I can only make it a combo"... Whilst another employee was cursing about how much he hated this job. I always ask for extra onions and pickles, and end up receiving NO onions or pickles. (Like the dude from SpongeBob). And when I pull up to the window they always ask "What did you order?" I'm sure McDonald's nowadays has a method of tracking orders, so not sure why they always have to ask me. Also why is there never anyone at the first drive thru window? Surely it'd be more effective if the individual taking orders wasn't the same individual handing out orders at the 2nd window. If I'm spending $10/meal and 30 minutes/visit I would at least expect my order to be correct. I've also noticed it's mostly the older non-English speaking employees working when my order is incorrect. When there are young inspired workers who speak English, my order has been correct 2 times. read more

The mobile option here sucks. I waited 30 min for my order. I had to go in after 15 min and ask about it, then wait that other 15 outside. The place was a mess. The work flow was not well organized either. Normaly in drive thru there is not an issue. You all need to step up on your game with the mobile. This is the future of ordering. read more

Absolutely atrocious. The female "manager looking" employee with the grey hair and large body began talking trash about customers who were on the drive through. IN FRONT of other customers?! Absolutely despicable. The lady at the front who took our order (short black hair, dark skin tone) was the sweetest ever. If you're reading this, I'd give you a 5 star rating. But to the fat manager who thinks it's okay to talk negatively about customers in front of other customers - how dare you. I went here to get me a frappe and only two people out of 5 only had on a mask but no gloves were in sight and no mask from the other employees.I thought all employees are supposed to have a mask and a pair of gloves on. Absolutely terrible...the inside was a mess and the floor is sticky because you could feel ypur so want to stay in place. Also the food is a hit or miss I do not know how to personally explain it. Third when I ordered a 50 peice of chicken nuggets for my family to eat or lunch on for a car trip we got the box and went but realized they only gave us 30 and we were debating on going back but we had to be there on time and we were already running late. So my final conclusion never go to this sticky, unmannered, can't count employes restaurant. read more

It's been a long time since we've had good McDonald's food! Even quit going. While traveling through Winston Salem we stopped here and had the best quarter pounders we have had anywhere. Just as good as larger restaurants! Med cooked and crispy on the edges . It looked just like the picture!! Fish sandwich was warm and not overcooked. The coke tasted like coke! I visit this location quite frequently being it's in route to my work place. I've had issues before & tried to let them go but this location has the worse customer service in the morning. Especially this morning(4/25/2019)..the staff was very unprofessional! I ordered a medium caramel frappe via mobile order because I'm heading to work. After 5 minutes of waiting in the mobile order parking spot I headed to the front door. I was greeted by a staff member asking if I ordered the frappe & I responded yes. She then asked if I wanted a mocha frappe & I told her no I want what I ordered. After observing the staff making the frappe, it appears that the caramel flavoring wasn't working properly and for their convenience it would have been easier to give me mocha. There appeared to be some lack of order with how the morning shift was running. After 10mins I finally got my caramel frappe and not once did the manager apologize for any inconvenience or the wait & she was on the front line helping! read more
