24-7 McDonalds, early morning was drive-thru only, so popped an order into the app and off and running. Sandwiches and hashed browns were pretty standard, nothing special but nothing wrong, either! Watch the entry - there are folks that come in off the road and they try to go around the cones or jet around the edges to come back to the drive thru (I get why they set it up that way, as it seems very inefficient to go around the building twice if you're doing it the not-crossing-cones way...). One road entrance/exit area so I would've designed that differently. read more

Before they renovated this was the best McDonald's in the area for food quality. However, since the fire and they rebuilt the food is awful. I've gotten so many diet cokes when I ordered coke. The burgers Luke warm. Last night I went and ate inside for first time. The service was quick and friendly but the sodas ( a Coke and a sprite) did not taste good, it did not have that McDonald's crisp Coke taste you expect. My quarter pounder was sooo greasy. Like dripping and formed a puddle. The cheese was just cold. The fries were hot and good like normal. I guess I'll have to find another McDonald's. read more

Never have I ever thought that I would give a McDonald's 5 stars, but wow. The workers actually looked like they wanted to be there. The food was actually amazing. I would usually complain about them mixing up my strawberry shake for a vanilla, but they let me keep the vanilla for free and made my strawberry! The restrooms were very clean. Curious how the night time cashier can take cash only and not print out a receipt when I asked for one but I'm also a dasher and she's able to print a receipt for the dash order. I specifically went back and ordered again in attempt to get a receipt to report the horrible service and was denied again. The cashier was rude and made an excuse that her system was down. How is the cash being tracked...? Makes no sense. And if you track the dasher order, you'll see the client only received nuggets... these burgers are mine and paid for. I can't remember the last time I went and something wasn't wrong but against my better judgment I went through the drive through tonight after sitting at the drive through screen for a few minutes nobody said anything so I said hello and got nothing back so I pulled up to the window (I thought the drive through might not have been work because they had a paper over the screen prompting ordering from the app) the woman at the window told me I had to drive back around and go through again and that I couldn't order from the window right then and if anyone if familiar with the area it's on a one way road so I would have had to pull out drive to the next light ... make a U-turn Drive past the McDonald's to make another U-turn to end back on the same side of the road. And I told you that hundreds of times I was in any of your stores. And I've been to over 200 McDs nationwide. Now its CRAP since the long time owners retired and sold. The current workers are LAZY, RUDE, SLOW, ARROGANT and just plain NASTY. And they are ALWAYS ON THEIR CELL PHONE. The only thing that is consistent is that the food will be TERRIBLE, COLD, OVERCOOKED, and your order will be Consistently WRONG. The old owners, brothers Les and Alan Dukart  trained their workers right. They were Kind, Courteous, Fastidious, Consistent, Caring, Accurate, Helpful, and some of the BEST trained service workers ever seen in the food industry. NO MORE.  New management has completely FAILED. And now with Covid and Drive Thru ONLY,  don't you think that after 60 years they would FIX the drive through situation with cars sticking out onto Route 202, Concord Pike? This causes a SEVERE ROAD HAZARD at ALL times of the day with cars whizzing by at 60 MPH? And causes MANY ACCIDENTS. I am surprised the State Police allow this.  With the Covid situation and long, slow waits for drive through, why don't they send workers OUTSIDE WITH ORDER TABLETS to releive the backup?  The Chik-Fil-A I go to has THREE drive thru lanes with Tablets, at least 10 workers and processes over 200 cars per hour. This has become quite possibly the worst McDonald's in Northern Delaware. Let's start with the layout. Either the drive-thru is too short or service is too slow at peak hours, so the drive-thru line regularly goes back out to US-202, blocking highway traffic. The parking area is small, tight, and possibly inadequate, although there is the option of parking at their management building next door. When I got there, someone was sweeping dirt from the front step. I have no idea why he scowled when he had to stop sweeping so I could enter the restaurant. The cashier is probably hard of hearing. I had to repeat my order 4 times before she got it right and she clearly was distracted the second time I said my order. And finally, the menu board pricing is not accurate. I ordered just one item and it rang up on the register 10 cents higher than the menu price. This is not excusable. read more

We arrived while traveling through the area to find the doors locked at 10:30pm. The time on the door said they closed at 11:00pm. The group i was with proceeded to the drive through. Upon ordering, we were screamed at due to one of our passengers FaceTiming her boyfriend who is serving in the military. She was accused of recording the workers in the drive through but she was actually on FaceTime. The tone of voice and the words that were used are completely inexcusable and we will be looking forward to discussing this issue with the corporate team. Well, it has been a long time since I have been in the drive thru at McDonalds. We went through at 12:00am after being in the snow for hours. We waited over 30 minutes for our food. What happened to fast food? To make a bad situation worse, when we got the food, it was barely warm, even the fries. The double quarter pounder was burnt and mine wasn't even in the wrapper it was open laying on top of the bag. To top it off, I watched the girl working the drive thru open the coffee package with her teeth. Very sanitary. I think a robot would have given service. This is a location that me and my pals frequent. I often have a pleasant experience here, however my time today was quite the contrary. I ordered a medium tropical twist slushie and a six piece McNuggets. My friend Jon ordered a large ice tea. My buddy Sean ordered a water cup. The water cup was handed to me with two lids, which was an inconvenience to say the least. The consistency of the slushie was all wrong, resulting in an oversaturated syrupy taste. The nuggets were mediocre. The ice tea was lukewarm even though it was loaded with ice. The water cup was composed of mostly hi-c. An overall disappointing and dissatisfying experience. read more

Worst drive-thru in America!!! 9:00pm on a Saturday night we waited 22 minutes in the drive thru. Not sure what the problem was expect to say the employeee was very slow. You'd think the manager would help out and tell the employees to thank the patrons for their paitience. Didn't happen. They were only operationing with one window open. Not the best decision on a busy Saturday Night and if that's protocol, the one window employee should have help. My complaint is really for everyday. It's never ever a quick experience even for a drink. Get the kitchen staff, line staff and even the Managers trained. Customer service, Customer service. Complete employee training is key. Last night I was given nuggets in the drive-through that had been sitting there since the silent era. I ordered the McLobster Thermidor, McFilet Mignon, a bottle of McRed McWine, grilled Asparagus, Alaskan Salmon stuffed with chicken McNuggets, French Fries w/Foie McGras, and Citrus Honey Chile Pepper braised McDuck. It was simply incredible. The wait staff was unbelievable. My waitress was a beauty whose seductive dress, million dollar smile, eye catching shoes, and super nice demeanor made the whole experience world class. She opened the bottle of wine, lit candles, brought fresh baked McBread and - get this - even danced to show me the song playing was her favorite. It was incredible service. (My only qualm was she brought olive oil to dip the bread in but it appeared to be 2 year old fry oil, you know, the kind you deep fry things in.) The restaurant itself is magnificent. Thick plush carpet. Rich mahogany tables, comfy chairs, dark wood paneling. I loved the expressionist paintings on the walls. The only downer was the clown. There was an actual clown walking around, going table to table periodically making annoying conversation and trying to hit on the vivacious waitresses. He called himself Ronald. By his 4th visit to my table I told him to get lost. At one point he rubbed the back side of my waitress and she punched him in the face. He said "hey tough crowd, no literally,get it?
