The food here is McDonald's. It's about the same as any other. Where this store falls down is its service. No one wants to come to the counter. You pretty much HAVE to order on the kiosks. But even that is strange. You may order, for example, a shake or a fudge sundae or whatever. But you won't get it. The ice cream machine has not worked in months. One employee told me it has never worked in the time she has worked there. On my last visit, I ordered just two sodas. I stood there waiting. The order came up on the screen over the counter. Then it disappeared. I finally got the attention of someone who came over to the counter. I asked her where my drinks were. She said someone in the back said I had already gotten them. She apologized and got me my drinks, but that's just typical. If you ask for your meal to eat in and enter the number of the table marker, they will still put your meal in a bag and expect you to pick it up at the counter. This store severely needs some serious thinking about customer service. The remodel is nice, but everything went downhill. read more

Worst McDonald's I've ever been to, takes 40 minutes to make a single mchicken, workers all have a terrible attitude, the food comes out cold half the time, most of the workers are also high. I never see any gloves and I don't trust any of these workers that clearly do drugs to handle food. Worst service ever. Do not recommend. read more

If there was a choice for NO stars, that would be my choice. I go to this location guiet often, and I blame myself for going back! I order on the app everytime and they get my order wrong everytime. I order the same thing everytime. I ask for extra onions, ketchup and no pickles. When I check it....shocker that you can count the onions on the burger or none at all, and always has the pickles on it! Went today same thing as usual but also the burger had so much salt on it, I couldn't even eat it! This location needs new management badly or they should shut the place down. I have read most of the reviews on here and 95% are 1 star and some like me would give none! So disappointing, y'all need to do better! read more

The absolute slowest McDonalds we have ever been to. We have been in drive thru line for over 20 minutes!!!!

If I could give zero stars I would have. My husband and I ordered dinner through the McDonald's app. I ordered two ranch snack wraps with french fries and my husband ordered a triple cheeseburger, four piece chicken strips, and french fries. I was looking forward to having the snack wraps because they were my favorite menu item growing up. Because this is the ONLY McDonald's in town, we never know if it'll be busy or how long it will take to receive our order, so we always order through the app to give the staff enough time to prepare everything in advance. My husband picked up the order and didn't think to check the bag assuming our order was correct and everything was packed. When he got home, I looked in the bag and noticed something was wrong. My entire order wasn't in the bag as well as my husband's order. Instead, we received two double cheeseburgers, a spicy mcchicken, and a large fry. We love McDonald's but we don't love the service at this location. My husband and I were upset because we were actually looking forward to our meals and wanted to give this location another try. My husband refuses to go back but if we ever decide to order food from this location, we'll ensure to check inside of the bag to make sure we have everything before leaving the drive thru. read more

gave me my drink with the lid halfway on and my drink went everywhere all over my lap and then was steady telling me to pull my car up while I'm trying to clean dirty Dr Pepper out from all over my lap and then when I told her to wait a dang second she wants to get a mouth on her and then slam the window. i will never go to this mcdonald's again. read more

Horrible customer service. I placed an order online on my way through town. Got my food and never checked it assuming all of my stuff would be there. I get home and check. And end up missing half of my order of the family meal. I called asking for a refund willing to show picture proof and ect if needed for it and they wing issue me a refund. To far to go back - management team needs to step it up. read more

The food is...McDonald's. Like most McDonald's, this one is giving fast food a whole new meaning. Like, slow. Since when do fish filet sandwiches come with lettuce and mayonnaise? Eat here? Enter a table card number. Oh, wait, there aren't any. Make up a number. No receipt printed at the kiosk. Food still comes out in a sack. Want to order at the counter? Good luck. No one comes out there on a regular basis. I would say I don't know how this store stays in business, but it's in Whitney, and its competition is pretty thin. read more

Lucas the manager had great service. He was very sigma and very efficient when taking and managing orders. He should get a massive pay raise because that is the best service I've ever had in a while from any McDonald's worker. The food he made for me was outstanding. 10/10 everything best service ever. And he has a low taper fade so that was very good too. read more

I've never had such a pleasant experience with McDonald's! They were all very polite and friendly! We got some spicy chicken sandwiches, a caramel frappe, and a Dr Pepper! All of which exceeded our expectation (and I'm a Dr Pepper addict) will definitely go back to this McDonalds if we're ever in the area again! read more

Menu has changed. Always out out of ice cream. Frappe machine always out. Aaaaaaaaaaaaa read more

Worst McDonald's experience ever to have to go back in because they forgot fries and then be accused of lying for some french fries. Don't know the clientele they deal with out here but that just left a bad taste in my mouth then come to find out they forgot a stupid cheeseburger. Check your order before you leave. read more

Wish there was a rating for less stars. The local community discusses the ineptitude of this McD on a weekly basis. If you dare go, check your order. You are likely to get one of the following: Extra food Less food Incorrect order Raw burger Some issue with cheese (none or some) Overcharged Coupons not applied Cold fries with half missing Extra long wait time for zero reason No ketchup or sauces, even though they guarantee they were in there Sass by employees who are annoyed that you are not using the kiosk Bathrooms are always clean, though. And it's newly remodeled. This place stays open because it is beside the high school, not because it is wonderful. read more

Greasy hash browns. Stale buns bad picante sauce. On line ordering doesn't work half the time. Everyone that works here needs a raise

Always enjoy a stop at this McDonalds while visiting our lake house. Always clean and friendly service. Keep up the good work and we will see you again soon. read more

Rude staff. And way over staffed for a small restaurant that won't even allow inside dining. Fire the lazy, rude employees since you aren't even providing a full service anymore. Won't come back here ever again. read more

McDonalds is suppose to be fast food, not at this location. It took us a total of thirty minutes to get our food. Our order was not complicated or big it was 4 McDoubles two fries. Also the customer service was terrible. I will not eat at this location again. read more

Worst McDonalds in Texas don't waste your time. They are probably closed or out of something.

Refused to accept my coupon or promo it for me after showing them it on my phone. Don't understand why they wouldn't atleast try? Lady was also rude at the window. read more

I don't like to have to say something to post a review, but McDonalds has a bad menu. Need a regular home style burger again. Nearly always out of ice cream or machine is broken when I go for a frappe! Bummer read more

I mean when I order LARGE FRIES, I want large fries. I don't want a large container with the amount you'd get in a small fry. Geez. Their Sprite is good though. Lol read more

One of the worst McDonalds EVER. Their food is consistently cold. Today I waited several minutes for a regular cheese burger . I thought, "At last hot food." I can't even imagine when the last time this sandwich saw heat. It is one of the coldest I ever got here. Bottom line, I won't be coming back here again - even though I'm not a huge Sonic fan, from now on I'm going across the street to it. Best mcDonalds around here is on I-35 at Hwy 34. Always fresh and hot and their fries are. Leister as tasty as the originals. read more

Good location, the food is good. The people here make it awesome! When you usually go to McDonalds people may or may not be friendly but since Whitney is a really, really small town and people are generally nice, it makes the experience so much better than the ones in the big cities. read more

Very poor customer service, very poor management team. It took this location three attempts to give me a McDouble with no onions on it. The manager was rude and upset I was bringing food back that they made wrong. I wouldn't recommend this location. read more

Garbage food, but that's what you get at most McDonalds. Go somewhere else to eat, your body will thank you for it.

Very good service. Quick and polite. I like to hang outside in my car and eat. They never complained or say anything to me about it.

The reviews are correct. Got a mc double and there must have been 1/3 a cup of ketchup on it! He got cheeseburger and there were some crusty pieces in it. The cashier and lobby worker gets the 5 stars. McDonald's Corp remains impartial in politics so thus location is breaking the franchise agreement playing Fox Entertainment News in its tv! Shame on the manager for allowing this! read more

The food is fine...just like any decent McDonald's, but it's well known in town that you don't go here for a quick meal. It seems like no matter what you order they make you pull up, bring multiple wrong bags to your car, and then you finally, eventually get out of there. Staff is usually nice, but come on. read more

Quite frankly, Im pretty bummed that i cannot give this place 0 stars. Average time to get food from the drive-thru, about 5 minutes. Odds your order will actually be complete and correct: about 50% of the time. Poorly staffed, poorly trained & management may be the worst ive seen in any fast food establishment. Do yourself a favor and just go to Sonic across the street, unless you have a 5 year old that loves happy meals as i do. If thats the case be prepared to WAIT & check your order. read more

They double charge me, I get that it was a accident. But will not refund money want me to go to bank to report . I did it's under 25.00 so they can't do anything. So I called talk aka gm.
