I've had nothing but positive experiences coming to this McDonald's over the last year and a half. I usually stop by for breakfast on my way from Patterson to work in Pleasanton, and it's almost always the same breakfast crew working ,,, which I honestly appreciate because they're always super nice and welcoming. I order through the app, pick up through the drive-thru, and everything is always quick and smooth. Most of the time I'm in and out in under two minutes. The staff is efficient, friendly, and consistent every single time I come here. Definitely one of the better McDonald's locations I've been to! read more

Worst McDonald's we have ever been to. The young girl with glasses in the drive through kept repeating our order wrong and tried to give us someone else meal at least 4 times. She made us park and still got our order wrong. We just took it because we have to get back on the road. I visited McDonald's at 4561 Howard Rd, Westley, CA 95387 around 10:20 PM. During my visit, we were told the restroom was closed and were not allowed to use it for handwashing, even though other customers were seen using it. This felt inconsistent. I also observed an employee using a broom (normally used for floor cleaning) to sweep tables in the dining area, which raised a sanitation concern. Additionally, we were asked to leave around 10:48 PM while still finishing our meal, even though the lobby closing time is 11:00 PM. I have already reported this to corporate and the local health department. read more

Good job at the MD in Westley, CA. Plenty of parking, mobile app order worked fine, coffee drink was ready very fast. Restrooms not too bad. Eating area looked clean and maintained. Staff was very friendly. Only opportunity to make it even better was to make the hot coffee drinks a bit hotter, but otherwise, fine. read more

Went today may 28th 2026 at around 6:40am, craving some greasy breakfeast and it's pouring ourside, me and my partner pull up to the speaker and we sat there for a good 20 minutes, we realized the guy didn't even take any of the orders on the left side of the drive threw and only the right, every single car we waited and waited and eventually we looked at eachother and said " are you actually messing me rn?" We didn't even sit in the line anymore we went to the window and explained how he skipped us and 4 other cars, he said " oh sorry the other guy is taking orders" I'm sorry but your "Guy" just skipped 5 cars. This McDonald's service sucks as well, we ordered 2 sausage mc muffin meals and he added every single item separately and single. As in we payed an extra 8$ for the single items and not the meal. Then when we pulled up to the window everyone looked stoned out of their mind. Just absolutely dead and not having one care in the world. This Mc Donald's sucks!! One of the best McDonald's double cheeseburgers we've had in awhile. What a pleasant surprise! Usually McD double cheeseburgers are extremely bland and you end up just tasting ketchup and a pickle. However, this cheeseburger was the opposite. Patty was well-seasoned and carmelized, meat was grilled excellently, almost like a smash burger. Whoever is cooking is doing something right. I dont often go to McDonald's...but I needed coffee to survive my long drive home through interstate 5. So, when I saw that one was coming up...thought I could quickly get a coffee with espresso (black eye) to keep me going. Their drive thru was under construction! So much for quick. I came inside to make my order and they tell me that their espresso machine was being cleaned and that I'd have to wait 15mins...it was 1130pm, clearly someone wanted to close early not expecting someone to order an espresso. Who has time to wait in the middle of the night, I left with a brewed coffee and got my espresso at the "TA truck stop" down the street. Avoid this McDonald's at ALL COST unless you are doing the drive-thru. They have signs saying fastest drive-thru in the country; that is because they only prioritize those customers. We had to wait close to 30 minutes for our food! Drastically adding time to our trip to LA. And it wasn't just us. The restaurant was filled with furious people in disbelief. The man next to us asked for his money back after waiting so long he gave up. Everyone around us was complaining out loud and expressing disbelief. Everyone walking out of the restaurant was also furious saying clearly they only prioritize the drive-thru customers. We have gone to McDonald's for decades and on multiple continents and never seen anything like it. Not even an apology to or an excuse given to any of the livid customers. The food was delish!!! One of the best McDonalds meals i've had in a long time. The fries were the bomb which if you know McDs they can be hit or miss. My Big Mac was great as well. At the end I got an ice cream and they gave me a huge portion and it was so yummy! The service was very quick and efficient, the employees were very nice. The restaurant was clean and the bathrooms were nice. They also had a trophy for fastest drive thru which was very impressive. I would rate my experience a 9/10. Restaurant was somewhat clean, but the restrooms were filthy and need more that 2 seats. The guy helping us try to order was friendly. We stood at the counter to order and after about 5 minutes he told us we could only order at the kiosk. Being forced to use a kiosk is ridiculous. It took more time, was confusing, and having people waiting on you to figure this method out was extremely annoying. I could hardly use the kiosk due my heighth, and I'm only 5'10". For the price, I shouldnt have to use this failed technology to order. Our food was cold (except the fries) and the Diet Coke was tasteless. Terrible! Did I mention the guy was friendly. He was attempting to help everyone at the kiosk, cleaning the dining room, taking cash payments at the counter...all by himself. Running the entire front of the restaurant for over priced, gross food, with roughly 50 people there has got to be exhausting. FAILURE on behalf of the management. After reading others reviews, there is a common theme. McDonalds doesn't care about food quality, cleanliness, customer service, or anything at all. Forced to use the kiosks to order food. No toilet paper or hand soap in the women's restroom. Restroom was filthy. Told the manager and he didn't do anything about it. I was driving northbound on Interstate 5. For folks that are unfamiliar with this stretch of freeway, there is not much going on past Valencia through to near I-580. There are a few freeway exits with clusters of fast food, gas stations, and truck stops. Having a dismal fast food drive thru experience in Santa Nella where I had to toss my order into the garbage, I was still on the look out for a decent place to eat. So I got off the freeway in Westley, another dusty freeway exit of civilization with the obligatory truck stop, gas stations, and fast food joints. The McDonalds is super close to the freeway. The building looks modern, it has that sleek modern look. I went through the drive thru ordering small burgers and fries. We got our food quickly. Everything was served hot. The burger and fries tasted like the good ole McDonalds flavors that I am familiar with. Absolutely no complaints. read more

I was passing by and desperately needed a restroom stop and a nugget fix! My initial impression was "wow, this is a really nice interior." It's much more modern than other McD's & the art is cool too. It's very spacious with plenty of seating. The area to order is even big enough for those who like to linger after ordering! I ordered through the touch screen menu which was super cool but also confusing but it worked! I quickly got my 20 nugs, mcchicken and fries; they didn't forget the sauces either so super plus. (: The reason for the 1 star deduction would be for quality of the food and cleanliness of the restroom. My nuggets were hot and crunchy but left a gross over taste. I honestly couldn't tell if they were old, but the fries def were old. They also could have used more salt. The restroom was missing toilet paper and seat covers so that wasn't a fun experience. I recommend checking before using, but not a bad rest stop! read more

After seeing ads for the now triple stack breakfast sandwiches, I had an opportunity to stop at a McDonalds on the way to Los Angeles. The sandwich was good and I would get it again. The second part of this review is for the McDonalds right off interstate 5 in Westley a truck stop on the way to LA. At 10 am this restaurant was packed with few parking places available and the drive-tru lined up around the back. Inside the line was eight deep. I used the self order kiosk, it was much faster. Got my number and sat down to wait for my food. The order came quickly, however French fries were a substitute for the hash browns and no napkins were available because the restaurant " ran out " Excuse me how does a McDonalds run out of napkins and no one goes to the convenience store next door to buy some napkins, paper towels , or even some tissues for the customers. I venture to think this is a probably a " health code violation ". I don't know which franchisee is operating this location but they need some management education. read more

What's up with the service here? We ordered 7 items received 5. Went back in because they forgot to give us our drink, after that.. we thought it would be a great idea to check the rest of our items in the bag. They gave us chicken nuggets instead of a spicy chicken sandwich. The spicy crispy chicken sandwich wasn't good, cold buns and the crispy chicken was soggy as if they zapped the protein in a microwave. Placing the order was easy, but getting the order right was apparently not. An order was placed for 2 small coffees, one regular and one decaf...Who would've thought that an issue would ensue from this? Upon getting the order I noticed that both coffees were labeled premium roast coffee, neither labeled decaf. I proceeded to go ask the Latino kid in the front with the mustache and braces which was the decaf one, to which he stated that it would be on the label. I showed him that both labels were the same and neither had decaf listed in the description, he proceeded to tell me to try them? I stated that the order was for someone who can't drink caffeine, he told me that I should know and to try them. I told him that the order was placed with them and I didn't make the coffee, and that if he didn't know which was which how would I? He looked at me with a blank stare! Where's the customer service? None was demonstrated. The lady in the front stated she would replace the coffee, I reiterated to her that the person can't drink caffeine again. She brought the coffee to the table and apologized, but as my mother in law grabbed the coffee she exclaimed it was cold! She had replaced her coffee with an old cold coffee deliberately. I was going to ask for it to be warmed but my mother in law said that I'd better not or else they might just spit in it this time around. The food purchased, was over $56 dollars...Yes, you read that right $56 dollars at McDonald's for subpar customer service and cold coffee!!!!!
