It is a McDonald's and the breakfast menu is the McDonald's breakfast menu. That said I have to discuss the premium customer service I received, in the drivethru at 7:48 am this morning. The young man whom took my credit card was efficient, polite and friendly. The pickup window had a young woman whom smiled broadly even as she was efficiently handing me two bags. I am always well treated at this McDonalds and I appreciate the thoughtful service. The pick up window was feet away from the payment window and they were immediately handing me two bags. One held a steak, egg and cheese on an actually toasted bagel along with ketchup packets. It was hot and obviously fresh. The second bag was a wonderfully packaged "Big" breakfast with pancakes, sausage, scrambled egg, and a fresh, flakey golden brown biscuit. It had a second small bag within it that held plastic silverware, syrup and butter packets. So often employees at other McDonalds don't give you silverware, or condiments much less polite, friendly service. Here it is part of their normal, every day business. This place is 24 hours on the weekends and the line is always long. But the kid who runs the take out window is awesome. The line is to the street and it never seems to take longer than 15-20 minutes. The over night staff deserves a raise! Beyond slow at this location. Whether you go inside or go through the drive in be prepared for long waits. Bizarre decor inside as well. Guess it's supposed to be a 50's look but just comes off looking and feeling awkward. Staff never particularly friendly. Order takers barely look at you, much less say hello. It seems like every time we go to this location the wait gets longer and longer. Well tonight made the last time we go. From start to finish, we waited a total of 47 minutes. You probably want to know why... well, I don't have a legit reason why except that it kind of became a game to see how long we would have to wait. Cars began leaving the line and would zoom out of the parking lot in frustration. As we got closer we'd say, well we've waited this long. Finally we make it to the window. NEVER going there again. i have been eating there for years and because of a tight schedule with 2 jobs I end up there 2-5 times a week as it is in route and close to me. Today, I went in, ordered lunch and was refused food as I had a $100 bill, and it was all I had on me. I called a manager from he parking lot and was told even their managers couldn't tell the difference between a real a counterfeit ( sounds like you need better managers ). i suggested they grabbed a counterfeit pen, and they only cost $1.99. Even the cheapest business have them. She told me " You don't understand " as if the pen were to fail, or the employee use it wrong, she is out $100, not $1.99. This is the busiest location in the area and they are cheap, cheap, CHEAP. I always have to purchase 2 large fries in hopes I get one and have been doing it for 2 years now as I have gone inside to ask for them to be filled and was treated as if I was nuisance. If they get the meal wrong, you WILL NOT get new fries, you will be handed back the cold ones that have been sitting as they try to figure out how to make a cheeseburger no cheese...which is a hamburger by the way. They run out of sprite often, and instead of ordering enough to meet the demand they respond with " sprite is a popular drink ". The employees are not only the dumbest I have ever seen...but they are always on their cell phones and treat you as if you are bothering them. I had to go find a different restaurant to go eat at just to get food! Over the years I have given them thousands and regret it. NEVER going back again...but honestly because they are so busy being in a busy town that has a major college they will always make big bank and not care about one customer. Also...I have seen the same manager in the ocean township location that has a similar attitude and policies....the other night i had to wait for THAT VERY SAME MANAGER to finish a conversation about her dogs with another employee before she would even acknowledge me and take my order. STAY AWAY. Also, even at 4 in the morning, you will sit in that drive through for no less than half hour to 40 minutes for a single item. They literally don't care one bit, but hey the owner is rich so why should he/she? They give the entire franchise a bad rep. Went there ordered, drove up to the cashier, paid her she didn't say anything to us but to tell us the total, she didn't tell us we need to drive up to the nxt window. Drove up to the window was totally ignored, nobody to say give us a second while we get your order together. Just totally ignored. But that's not the bad part. The first thing that we ordered was the happy meal with the cheeseburger, we got the cheeseburger no happy meal. My mom ordered chicken fingers and fries we got the fries no chicken fingers.
