This McDonald's has gotten so bad that every time I use the app to order my food I have to bring my own napkins because they never put them in the order with your food. The other problem they have is they don't know the difference between sweet tea and unsweet tea. My order is always the same unsweet tea with extra lemon extra ice nine out of 10 times I get sweet tea with no ice. I've started driving to the Chambersburg McDonald's. It's about the same distance because they at least seem to be able to get my order right. And these people want us to pay them $20 an hour that's ridiculous. read more

McDonald's bathrooms are always nice. Everytime I walk into this one's bathroom, I always feel good and happy. Of course there may be stuff on the floor, but it's natural. The food is so good as well. Normal McDonald's food but it's ALWAYS hot and the fries are always so good. Sometimes the line goes slow but for me we always zip through and get our order in about 5 minutes. The staff is always sweet and welcoming. This is a positive review: I had forgotten to ask for the coke to have no ice. But my bro reminded me when I got to the 2nd window to pick up my order. I asked if it would be possible to get a coke with no ice and with a smile, Alex (the guy at the window) said "sure!" and as I offered the other coke, he said "Oh you can keep that. It's only a dollar. If they charge me, I'll pay for it out of my own pocket." It bears mentioning this same McDonald's helped my bro and I out when we had car troubles. My 10 year old daughter went inside with just a friend to order breakfast. She was given horrible service by a MANAGER, who gave her attitude for misunderstanding what she said. I had planned confronting her myself but another manager suggested calling corporate. Which, I googled the number. Said and done, I had corporate scold me for how I addressed it. So, as a customer, im not allowed to confront a manager about their unproefessional behavior? And this person, REGULARLY is loud and obnoxious and treats people like shit. From what I've heard, she needs drug tested and they cater to her because she fell on the job. So, i hope this review hurts their business significantly. read more

Sometimes the lines are definitely long and it takes some time to get my order but my order usually always comes as I would like it. Recently my order wasn't what I was expecting and I quickly asked the associate working , I believe his name was Robert, to help correct my order. He was very nice about it and said he would get it fixed right away, he came back quickly with the right order and I couldn't have been happier. Wednesday 9/30/20 @ 8pm...It look okay inside with Covid precautions! But the Delivery Service is Awful!! My question is: What happened to the previous Mgrs., and Crew before this Store was Reconstructed? THEY WERE AN EXCELLENT TEAM WORKING COLLABORATIVELY! The shift mgr., on tonight...was up front with maroon colored shirt- different from the others- Had no enthusiasm to steer the Team toward excellent customer Service or move the Drive Patrons quickly!! Only myself and 2 other customers inside the restaurant, because the outside was crammed...and it still was over 15 minutes for my (2 )small items. Almost always their drive thru window is backed up all the way into Main Street... On the inside almost a dozen people behind the counter with not a clue as to what good customer- service looks like, act or even talk for that matter. The guy at the counter was friendly, but he never checked on our orders...He and his friends were conversating with bags balled in the palms...? Who is running the Store I wonder... read more

First I find it funny that this location only has one and a half stars but the drive through lines are always long... I gave it 3 stars because every time I've gotten my food it's always hot, and delicious. A zero is the correct rating. Totally GROSS to have an employee exit the restroom and NOT WASH THEIR HANDS! I was washing my hands, (good soap supply and instant on water) as the employee was walking towards me. Expecting the employee to stop while I finished up, I was much surprised that the employee kept walking, oblivious to their responsibility to the health and safety of everyone. Customers and fellow employees are all subject to illness when bacteria from the restroom is transmitted to the food prep and dining room areas. I promptly notified the Manager of what I had just witnessed. I wonder if the Team was called together for a safety and health refresher. And I wonder if this employee understands the issue. We stopped there yesterday morning ordered an Egg McMuffin sandwich & other items. We didn't go through the drive up, order placed at counter. Traveling, so we looked in bag to make sure we got what was ordered. Didn't physically open each wrapper & inspect the product before leaving parking lot. A couple of miles later & inconvenient to turn around. The employee assembling the Egg McMuffin forgot the most expensive part of the sandwich... The meat. There are 4 ingredients to this product. Ok, so this place has changed for the worse. I have nothing good to say about this McDs anymore. It used to be our go to McDs, now it's our stay away from McDs. Even after the recent renovation and the two order lanes you always have to wait. You can have three or four order lanes, but when you only have one pay and one pick-up window... well there's the bottle neck. To go inside isn't any better because they are working so hard on taking care of the drive thru you find yourself waiting for someone at the counter. Kind of like, since they have the order boards, they don't feel like they have to take your order. This is the McDs that is closest to us but I'll drive much further now just to go to a different one. read more

I parked the car and had to wait 45 minutes for her to come back out with the food. While I was waiting I watched the drive through. I had some work to complete and our internet was down due to bad weather. I rushed to McDonalds around 8pm as they advertised 'Wireless Inernet'. Got there and had to pay for the internet as this is the part that was left out of the ad on TV. This is done be credit/debit card and not cash... imagine that! I was so deep into my work when I saw the battery light blinking. I searched for a power outlet and could not find one. I asked the employees and they said that there were no oulets for customers. Why would they not have outlets for customers if they have 24 hour internet? What is the alternative??? I had to sit in my car (with the outlet that plugs into the lighter socket) to finish my work. If that is not bad, try this one: For every parade that is in town there are lots of spectators. McDonalds NEVER has a good strategy for more than about 5 customers at a time. Why? One person at the register. Here's a tip: Get more people on the registers when you have a crowd of customers. Get a 'production line' going with each person responsible for something. If not for my daughter loving the games inside or the Happy Meals, this McDonalds would get zero stars!! read more
