It's a 24 hour McDonalds according to the sign, with a pickup window in front of the store for delivery drivers after hours. Upon walking in, there was a strong odor that yo me smelled like the oil they use to fry foods with, that maybe in some other locations you can pick up on it, but this was strong enough that if I were ordering food & not just a coffee, I wouldn't have been able to eat it there. It was morning so breakfast was available, but I only ordered a coffee. It seemed like the staff was all young, college age, and they had the work ethic to go along with it. Quite a few delivery drivers were waiting for their orders, I saw a few people come and go with big orders as I was waiting for just a coffee for 10 minutes. I even saw one customer notice their order number on a bag sitting in the back that he actually had to point it out to the staff to give him so it wouldn't keep sitting there. read more

McDonald's isn't something I eat too often anymore. I do find myself eating it maybe 3-4 times a year but this day I heard they have a new chicken sandwich and people are saying it's pretty good. To my surprise it actually was pretty decent the chicken was quite soft when you bit into it and tasted good for McDonald's standards. In my opinion it wasn't as tasty as the Popeyes chicken sandwich but evenso I wouldn't mind having another go at it every once in a while. This is one of the busiest McDonalds on Long Island. They renovated and added a drive thru a couple years back and the line around the store has still not let up! The service is pretty good although the line can often be out to Wantagh Avenue. Not many choices for fast food in that area so it comes in handy and the drive thru is open 24 hrs and gets a nice bar crowd latenight from Mulchays. read more

Their service is horrendous, always ask you to pull up to the front of the drive thru because the food is not ready blocking all other cars from getting out. This is the best McDonald's I have ever been to. This place has service that would put most restaurants (not just fast food places) to shame. I have visited this location many times as it is nearby my office and I recently downloaded the app which has incredible deals. Every time I have eaten here, most recently being yesterday, the service is organized and friendly. The staff work together to get drive-thru and in-house orders done accurately and quickly. For example, when I go to pick up my online order, they confirm that my sandwich was done correctly, even when I go against the grain and make something different (think the pico guac grilled chicken sandwich/burger but without the pico, but with pickles). They always repeat your order back to you and confirm it before handing it to you to make sure there is no miscommunication. Another example: yesterday, after getting my chicken sandwich from my mobile order quickly, I waited on line to order fries and a Snoopy toy as I could not do that via the mobile app. My second order came seconds after I ordered, as another worker was getting the order together as I was paying. I honestly wish more restaurants were as thoughtful and efficient as this McDonalds. I was originally rating the place 4 stars because, well, it is McDonalds and so even though it is good fast food and amazing service, it is not fine dining by any means. But I need to give credit where it is due, and the people who work here deserve all the credit in the world. This is a very very very busy McDonalds with a busy drive thru. The staff here is INCREDIBLY polite and friendly! I mean unusually nice ! How did that happen ? The interior is clean and I like the "living room" lamps suspended from the ceiling . However one funny / weird point to the dining room: If you choose to sit on the right side of the dining room next to the window; ALL the drive through customers will be face to face with you thru the glass while they are waiting to order. Literally 18 inches from your face. It's pretty funny (or depending on your sense of humor - ANNOYING! ). I would so take the opportunity to do something funny like wear a monster mask while eating my dinner or something goofy at least. But that's me. I'm a clown. The drive thru here is ridiculous. At odd times of the day, even three in the afternoon the line is so long and moves so slow that cars are sticking out into the road, blocking regular traffic. Don't bother coming to the drive thru here if you're hungry because you will be starving by the time you get your food. The best part is there are so many cars on the drive thru line blocking your ability to access the parking lot that you can't even drive around to sit in the parking lot and eat your food. Only bother coming here if you have enough time to go inside and order (although you will still have a hard time to park in order to do so because the drive thru line blocks cars from being able to get to the parking lot. No salads since pandemic . I don't know why every other fast food restaurant has salads.
