I tried the place I knew but it was closed. Lucky for me, this place was right across the street. I won't bore you with the details of why Vicksburg is a special place to me. Just know that it is. I haven't been in a long time so stopping for coffee brought back some great memories. Anyway, back to the review. This is an incredibly cool place. The clothing is outdoor focused and very stylish. The coffee is very good and rivals most full time coffee houses. Plus it has parish in the name so this Louisiana boy is a fan.

At just under 3 miles, I didn't mind taking the ride, as I love to support the mom and pop businesses. There was a Starbucks practically next door but I can get a Starbucks coffee anywhere. Upon walking in, I was greeted by three friendly baristas. They took my order, got me 3 coffees and a milk to go, and had me out the door pretty darn fast considering that they brewed my coffee to order. The coffee was priced reasonably and I wish I had asked what brand of coffee they used as it was very smooth. If I am ever back in the area, I will definitely patronize them again.
