This location. Serves OLD chicken nuggets. And while that can be a mistake. There's nothing mistake about serving old nuggets after you pay and specifically ask them to make it fresh to order (20 pc) and they tell you no problem, then after the appropriate wait time they give you a box of nuggets that the box isn't even hot. Fresh nuggets the bottom of the box is just borderline uncomfortable to hold. You give it back to them. And they re make And yet again. Send you old nuggets. The leftover they had in the warmer. Was put at the bottom of the box. And about 5 fresher ones on top OLD NUGGETS ARE DRIER, NOT AS CRISPY. There's simply no way to fake old nuggets. Re fried nuggets are overly crunchy batter. What's worse is this is not the first time they did this. This is the third time. First rime was 10 pc and I didn't know til I got to the bus stop on my lunch break I couldn't go back to return it. Second time was next day after that with refunded in points to re order it and again they did it. So. After two waits and two times sneaking me old nuggets for almost $20... I wrote to McDonald's and got the whole order refunded. I will never go to this location for nuggets or fries. They do it for fries too. Super old. Dry. Not hot. If you want perfection. I live in the hood so I have to say I come to the Kits McDonald's quite often especially for mid night snacks. This place is open 24hours. Yeah!!!!!. since lots of place in Kits closes early, this is one of the place to grab quite bites at night. So came here for the lobster sandwich. Yes its for a limited time only till the end of July 2015. The sandwich tasted good but a bit cold and there weren't that much lobster in it. Its price $7 so its not bad for lobster sandwich. Came here to get an iced coffee. Parking is available on the streets. There are also TWO parking lots in the back - one above ground, and one below ground! Oh yes. The location is large, but unfortunately feels quite cramped when full. The ordering area is definitely on the small side. There are garage doors that open though, turning parts of the restaurant into a patio. Other than that, my coffee tasted great. read more

Don't go here. Food was cold. Customer service includes lectures and lots of push back. All I asked was for the food to be made fresh and it seemed impossible. I forgot to mention the coupon but I only ordered two sandwiches, it isn't the end of the world to re punch the order in. I have yet to go to a McDonald's where the staff are competent at their job. Another review here mentioned being lectured by the employees, which is weird cause it's exactly what happened to me the last time I went here. I ordered a coffee and forgot to say I wanted it black. When I noticed the cashier putting the creamer in a cup I apologized and said I wanted a black coffee. She and the shift manager proceeded to tell me it's incumbent on me to tell them what goes in my coffee. Which is fine, but they also could have asked. They actually both stopped everything they were doing to tell me what a grave mistake I had made. I'm sorry that I don't know about the protocols of who gets to make the assumption when ordering coffee. I guess, according to the lecture I received, it is the right of the McDonalds employee to assume what goes in each coffee. In any case, it shouldn't be a big deal. Mistakes are made all the time. But I was made to feel like I made some life altering mistake. I think the franchise will recover from that tablespoon of creamer we wasted. It's weird because I've gone to this McDonalds for coffee sporadically over the past year and the shift manager who typically serves me always gives me the silent treatment. Like aggressive silent treatment. Which I don't really care about, because it's early and I figured she's just concentrating on her job. But now it seems like she's probably just seething with contempt for the customers, so keeps her mouth shut. She only opens it to put her stupid customers in their place. Anyways, she's a jerk. kitchen is filled with cockroaches, as told to me by multiple staff members. the manager is rude to the customers, i've seen multiple people (including myself) get kicked out before i've even finished my meal! not to mention music and environment wise, this is one of the worst McDonalds i've been in. the same 5 2018 pop songs play on repeat over, and over, and OVER again. it's so loud, you have to yell to speak to the people you're with. read more

I never ever go to McD's but the mclobster was so tempting. I was actually considering eventually going to the east coast just to try it. So when I heard it was coming to the West Coast, it was a no brainer. So I walking in like any other day. Weather was a little hazy today, just the way I pictured the east coast, so it really helped set the tone. I walking in, ordered a McLobster meal with a maple bacon poutine. I'll cut to the chase, I enjoyed it but my friend did not. I enjoy seafood & sweets so it was perfect for me. My friend prefers to eat in a box, foods he's sure of, he's never had lobster before. Mind you the lobster is cold, NOT hot, just the way its suppose to be & the poutine has a unique contrast of sweet & salty. All in, not bad for $13. Another tasty piece of crap? THE "12". Well the hype is on along with another flood of commercials for the new chicken sandwich. Ok, occasionally I eat at McDonald's just to fill my belly between meals, or even sometimes for something cheap to eat while I'm out! Overall, the burgers are just a piece of crap, but a TASTY piece of crap! Even though they taste like a warm soggy newspaper their still edible. I wrote in to comment once from reading the link on the back of the receipt; I said "it's not meat". Then maybe a week later they had a TV campaign boasting that it was real beef! eg. "We're the meatballs your grandma makes, steak you cook on the grill", etc, etc. Ok, back to the 12: I ordered the 12 Grilled; and one or two bites in it tasted strange. Not like chicken but more like pork. But then I seen the meat was "stringy" like chicken is, but also so is rat meat! Even with the miracle of MEAT GLUE it still didn't quite taste or have the texture of chicken meat. McDonald's food is processed to death; soaked in chemicals, all kinds of preservatives, and God knows what else. But the twelve is something else... Your guess is as good as mine! And why the name: "THE 12"??? When it's for any time of the day. My guess... It takes 12 Rats to get enough meat to make it (sorry rat lovers)! Dear McDonald's, Why not just make your burgers out of TOFU, if you're going to be cheap with the product you serve to customers! Stop lying and scamming fast food patrons around the world, and just say what your food is made of or has in it instead of making up stories??? In some parts of the world Rat, Dog, Cat, even possum and squirrel are a delicacy. It might have an effect if you tell people the truth, but you will still make money. My recommendation... Waited 20 mins for a quasi-cooked item. Not impressed, and not the first time this has happened

I remember when this McDonalds was built, along my bus route home from elementary school. I used to stop off for an after-school snack, until a friend of my mum's spotted me and (innocently I am sure) ratted me out to my mum - boo! Then I had to swear to come straight home with no junk-food stops, on pain of being seen by spies again ... But I don't hold that against the restaurant of course. And I have nearly forgiven my mother. The restaurant has been significantly upgraded since then of course, and living space added around and above (the restaurant used to go back to the laneway, with a much longer counter and two slightly staggered main levels). This location has efficient & friendly service. They do get the orders right (a pet peeve of mine; one of the peeves for which I do not apologize at all whatsoever, since it really *should* go without saying). The decor is current McDonalds and kinda cool, with darker colours and pebbled pillars. read more

The food is OK, as you would expect from a big brand chain. What is not OK is the way staff come in from having a cigarette and do not wash their hands, then leave the packet on the food surfaces in full view of customers, this is also on top of them having their phones out and using them while people are waiting to be served. I'm going to give this a 5 because they don't deserve an average of 2.5, just saying. Service here is awesome, matt matt (yep) let us make a custom order a coke float by generously filling a sundae cup with just ice cream and a medium coke (thank goodness for their dollar days!). All the seats were clean and tidy and there's also a covered parking lot on the side of the building. One of the better McDonald's out there! read more

I avoid this McDonald's at all costs. The food is slow and the employees don't care at all. The last time I was there they forgot to put sausage on my sausage mcmuffin three times! My experience has been similar every time I've been there, so I've stopped going. read more
