Sure, you can't judge a book by its cover, but can you judge a restaurant by its dining room? They'd removed the McDonald's by us a few years back and I figured I would pleasure my company in reliving the flavors of yesteryear, as he's been using a certain royal patty flipper to get his fast food fix in its place. But when there are stray fries abandoned on chairs and dirty napkins on the table, reinventing into the sleekly modernized lounge of tomorrow doesn't mean diddly. Sure, they have monitors that you can build a custom order at when you don't feel like downloading another app, but we carry cash, which almost feels sinful as we make the disinterested employee take our order at the register. We excused it as another employee went out of his way to hold the door for us, so customer service isn't completely dead yet. They have a special Bills slushie that is currently one price for all sizes so we went halvsies on a large. The cherry and blue raspberry didn't mix, being two separate tasty layers of ice. My company got a mcdouble and a McChicken, both which look flatter than the advertisements, but knowing the track record of other locations, this is par for the course. Had to go to this McDonalds because it's open 24/7, and as far as my son & I are concerned, the Elmwood location no longer exist. They are really THAT BAD !! So, we both ordered a Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese value meal. (Large) The woman on the intercom was super nice & friendly. She was real chipper & I like that. By the time we got to the window, our food was already bagged & the nice male employee was handing it to us. Got home, and ate the food while it was still warm & everything was GOOD & most of all, COOKED thoroughly. Fries were perfect, burgers tasted like REAL meat (lol) & the pop wasn't watery. So, from now on, if it's after 11pm, this will be our "Go-To" McDonalds. read more

Gave the cashier at the first window a $50 bill and she shorted me $30 in change. Got my change corrected but I get to the second window and they have no idea what I ordered. Gave them the receipt and 5 people came and looked at it. They give me my food and the order is still wrong. This trip I'm comparing the chicken sandwich here with the one at Sonic on Union Rd. This one is a LOT better. The coating is crispy and there's at least 3x as much meat. Neither store promotes their chicken as being free range, without additives such as MSG, and both are salty. read more

Amazingly impressed by this McDonald's. It's minutes away from my house, I've never been inside it before. I didn't know they went through a remodel, but this is top-notch! I have never seen another McDonald's like this before. You can order and really customize your meal by ordering from the kiosk. Pay by credit card, and you're all set. Want to pay with cash? Just finish up at the kiosk and click on the button that says "bring cash to cashier". With using the kiosk, you will grab a table number - just like Panera has, bring it to your seat and they will bring your food over to you once it's ready. My friend and I came here to get some work done and study. The only real issue we had was that there were virtually no outlets anywhere to plug our laptops into! With the amount of space in there, you would have thought that they would have incorporated that into the design of the new space. Oh, and guess what? The customer Service in both drive thru windows were rude and had attitudes they need anger management classes. The first girl didn't hear me when I said two hash browns and when I address it I received " I ASKED YOU" attitude. The first girl said mention the hash brown at next window it us cleared up. The girl in second window I mention it too but she put the hash brown in a separate bag and held it back until I mentioned it. read more

I came to this location and placed my order for spicy chicken nuggets. The girl at the first window didn't give me a receipt. I got to the second window and picked up my food drove away and then realize they had to give me regular chicken nuggets. When I went back to get my order corrected the manager was very rude and asked me for my receipt which I did not have. She then asked me for the chicken nuggets that were wrong whipped them in the garbage in front of me, then handed to the correct ones and said have a good night. Was given my drink and told to move to the front and it would be brought out to me! 2 other cars waiting for food after 15 mins food brought out to all 3 cars! The McDonalds on Young Street in the city of Tonawanda should be put to rest for its crimes against their customers. We had a employee curse and throw a fight in front of our very eyes, we had her attitude all over our food, and the staff was less than helpful in every way. Our order is 5 basic food items took over 20 minutes to complete and get handed to us wrong. We then had to specify the mistake and they went off. This has to be one of the worst McDonald's I have ever been to! Placed a curbside order for an egg McMuffin No Cheese and sat and sat waiting for it to be brought out to me. After 15 minutes I went through the drive-thru and told them, went up to the window and they claimed they never got it. Showed them the receipt and they said they would make.
