Vibes - I really liked the interiors like just a couple of wooden tables and chairs, a shelf with books, and a little merchandise on display. The café has good street parking, which was such a relief. Bites - My husband got a bagel with eggs, and I chose a bagel with herb cream cheese. The bagels were cheap, but when I saw the size, I understood why. A bite in, I could tell they weren't the freshest. They weren't stale, just a bit drier than usual. I did, however, really like the herb cream cheese. I also ordered a mocha, which was pretty mediocre. Service - The staff was polite, though the food took a little longer than expected. I noticed some coughing while we were there, and with flu season going around, it did make me slightly concerned.

I was in the area on my way home and decided I'd grab a coffee from here since my earlier coffee of the day was disappointing and I always love to check out local coffee when I'm in unfamiliar places. This coffee shop is located in downtown Fayetteville and has a cute historic small-town feel to it. Street parking wasn't too hard to find in the early afternoon. I walked into a nicely air conditioned shop and was promptly greeted by a polite employee. They have a lot of specialty drinks with different flavors posted on the wall. They also offer some simple lunch options. After a minute or so of deliberation, I decided to order one of their specialty lattes. I'm a little bit removed from my visit, but I seem to recall it being the "Witches Brew;" it had some combination of chocolate, caramel, and I think maybe vanilla flavors. The nice employee made it for me quickly and I was out the door. Overall, it was a decent beverage. It mostly just tasted like a mocha to me -- didn't pick up on much caramel or vanilla. It was better than the coffee I got earlier, though, so that was a plus! The service was very polite, I liked the vibe, and I liked my drink enough that I'd return and try another drink in the future.
