We called in here for a coffee on our first night. We had arrived at the hotel quite late and the town was in darkness. We off-loaded our bags in our room and as it wasn't too late we decided to go out and get our bearings. It was dark, cool and damp. The streets were wet so it had already rained before we arrived.
As it was our first visit to Poland we had no idea about the country, the culture and the people or what to expect. As time would prove we were in for a delightful time. This Mc D is on what is essentially Main Street and it's near to the train station.
We got our coffees and the young chap serving wasn't the usual friendly sort you expect to find in a Mc D, no chance of being advised to have a nice day or life.
Tiredness began to hit us as we sat in the very uncomfortable seats and we've noticed as years roll by that tiredness arrives quickly and grips quickly too so we made our way back to the hotel.
It turned out that this was our one and only visit to Mc D as there were far better, more friendly and much more comfortable eating & drinking places all around us. read more
