Cookies and other sweet things are also delicious here. The beer is also great and suits a place like this. Try the polish brands! And finally the food is great as well. I think they only serve Polish dishes. The only problem is that the menu is entirely in Polish. But the friendly staff did a good translation with a smile so the problem was not that big. The interior is really fantastic and unique. They have collected tons of old stuff from a time period that is no more. The things have a beautiful touch of patina from an interesting history. There seems to be new people working here every now and then. I went here every day on my last visit to Gdansk. Everyone from the staff were really nice and service minded. Each time was a pleasure to go here, because of the staff, the cool atmosphere and the food. I can highly recommend this very special place, but don't tell everyone, it's best kept as a secret! :)

The ambience did it for me. I felt like I was Alice in Wonderland when I stepped into the place, I just wanted to walk to every corner or the place and inspect all the furniture, wall art, books, antiques and trinkets. Whoever built this place is an artist and must be a very interesting person! I can lounge here forever. The whole layout/ setup of the venue is quite cool, there's a small corner room that feels like a living room (but very artsy) and I'm just in love with it!!! I went on an afternoon for coffee, but I can only imagine what it might be at night.... with a live jazz band (possibly?) it would be heaven!! Go, now. And again!

I enjoyed my experience and had great servers who recommended the pumpkin quiche of the day which was amazing! A great start to the day and filling with a side salad and tzatziki sauce too. But overall it was just OK. We showed up on a Saturday morning and it was packed but they seated us quickly, which was welcome as we were starving. After looking at the menu I was slightly disappointed, as it didn't have as many vegan options as I'd hoped. We ordered two breads though. The vegan one with the lentil spread and pickles was good, but nothing spectacular. My husband ordered one of the vegetarian ones but it was out, so he got the egg one instead, which he said was also fine. Additionally, we ordered one of the oatmeals with almond milk, gluten-free oats, peanut butter, banana, nuts, cinnamon, etc. It wasn't particularly flavorful but my son liked it. As for drinks, my husband got the hot chocolate and he enjoyed it; of all the hot chocolates he had in the city, it was his favorite. The price was also pretty good. But I found the service was not particularly friendly (everyone seemed in a rush) and the food just medium.

I was worried the food might not match the appearance... But I was pleasently surprised at the quality and flavour. The food and service was outstanding. Love the interior, attentive and helpful staff and their T-shirts :))) They have a very original menu: NYC bagels and waffels. My waffel was delicious - with salmon, avocado and cottage cheese, tomorrow I'm going to try a sweet version.
