Stacja Sopot is located in an old Villa next to the main station and is renovated in the typical modern/vintage style you usually find in hipster places in Warsaw. Staff is young, international and super friendly. After a longer bike tour as expected and a rain shower we got into, they were super friendly, helping o try us and getting the bikes, especially saddles dry afterwards. The food is fresh and modern interpreted. When it came to orders they were very helpfull and flexible giving recommendations, sizing the dishes up from starter to main dishes or changing the sides. I had a smoked beef tatare which was really good and got a slight but not too dominant smoky flavour. For main dish we had sprotki, the polish type of small sardines, deep fried with salty flakes, very very tasty. For desert we got a sernik, polish chees cake with fresh berries on top too share. All in all a very tasty meal in a friendly, casual and relaxed atmosphere.

This comfortable and friendly place blends European standards with Asian flavors. All of us, from…read morevegans to carnivores, enjoyed our meals. The chef here knows flavors well and is not afraid to be bold with big flavors, never going overboard. Case in point: the duck broth with udon, pickled ginger and pickled radishes. The broth, very rich and reminiscent of pho, was complemented nicely by the tang and heat of pickled sushi ginger-- very satisfying on a cold seaside day. Another standout was the hot lemonade which turned out to be a hot, fresh citrus tea with cloves, star anise, rosemary, and cinnamon. This was good both with and without a shot of rum. The non-vegetarian main dishes equally feature deftly cooked vegetables next to their meat counterparts. It was fun to pick through the shrimp, chorizo and pan fried vegetables getting different combinations of carrots, celery root, beets, and parsley root with the sausage and shrimp. This plate was deceptively filling. Stacja Sopot is a must if you like big flavors, interesting combinations and fair prices.

The menu is 100% vegetarian, and mostly vegan (and the non-vegan dishes can all be modified to vegan.) There are also many clearly labeled gluten free options. This is heaven for plant based or celiac/gluten sensitive folks, and a fantastic option for omnivores, too! I don't know any Polish beyond a couple of courtesy words, and eating here was a breeze - both servers spoke fluent English, and there is a detailed English menu with nice descriptions of all the dishes. The vibe inside is calm and lovely and a touch hipster. The food was great! We started with a vegan "lard" made from white beans and prunes; it's one of their house specialties. This was out of this world good: savory with a hint of sweetness and a touch of pepper, and satisfyingly creamy. We also had the sweet and sour "duck" made from seitan. The texture really nailed a fatty piece of duck (which I used to like eating in my pre-vegetarian days), and the sauce was sweet and tasty. We also tried the Jamaican curry, made from coconut and peanut. It didn't taste especially Jamaican, and the flavor was more coconut that peanut butter, but it had lots of crisp veggies and tasted good. Appetizers are around 15 złoty and entrees around 30. Tap water was complimentary at every table, and they sell wine by the bottle and glass as well as 500ml bottles of local craft beer and a nice variety of teas. The bathrooms are downstairs and I don't think they are wheelchair/walker accessible. I'm not sure if I'll ever be back in Gdańsk, but if I am, I'm definitely returning to Manna 68 for some of that pate!

If you're ordering tea, just know that you're ordering an entire tea pot - I made that mistake. Nice ambience, room temp water, not the fastest service. Would only return to try a dinner dish.
