We have been here more than a few times and have tried the pierogi's, pasta, salmon and chicken. This is one of my favorite places to eat in Gdansk. The food is pretty great - lots of Polish dishes and a fantastic pizza and beer list. The atmosphere is clean and classy. The menus are in both English and Polish, and the staff is very warm. Although I speak Polish, I tend to speak English at restaurants to be polite to my touring guests - and the staff has remained very friendly and patient no matter which language a guest speaks or how poor their Polish pronunciation is. That's what earns five stars for me - great service. read more

In the heart of Old Town, this restaurant is sort of a country chic comfy sort of place. The decor is warm and inviting. Great menu selection, with an English version. I had the salami pizza for dinner and it was great, just the right amount of cheese and sauce. The next morning we came back and had some eggs fried in bacon grease. It's an ok restaurant. The food has nothing particular but it's not bad neither... just ok. Price is reasonable, for European standards, but the service is really sloooooooow. As a parent, it's difficult not to like a restaurant that has a very well equipped playroom, and CCTV to enable you to watch your kids. Reasonably helpful staff, and the food was good- I had dumplings stuffed with duck in a mushroom sauce, the actual product outperforming the description as the mushrooms were ceps, and the portion size about three times what was stated on the menu. Pizza ( not mine, I hasten to add) was also very good. The only bum note was a side order of kasza that didn't appear, but hey ho. read more

First I must say, the service in Poland is not good at all. Although there is amazing food. This restaurant had everything on the menu. Big portions, sheap and quite a good feeling to it. I was there with my mom and we bouth were very satisfied with our dinner and evening. read more

Nice location and nice interior. The personnel is a bit slow and i had to go and get them after fifteen minutes of waiting for ordering (after they initially handled me the menu). And it was not at all busy at the time (14h in afternoon). I ordered a bagel and a glass of white wine. The bagel was great and delicious, but the glass of wine is the emptiest glass I have ever seen served. I complained about it, but denied the glass was more empty than normal and refused to pour more into it. Otherwise I am happy with the place. Nice ambience and a good place to have a rest. read more

We had hoped to taste some authentic pierogis on our trip to Poland, so we stopped here because the menu had a few options. Maybe they were authentic and I just don't know, but the pierogi I ordered tasted exactly like a loaded baked potato. It had those little fake bacon bits and chives and came with a side of plain sour cream as a dipping sauce. read more

Great location and very friendly customer service! Nice atmosphere and it was cozy to sit outside wrapped in blankets. Had a pizza and drinks, everything arrived promptly. Version française a suivre This was our first restaurant in Gdańsk. Our AirBnB host recommended that restaurant and figured out we would give it a try. The service was really great and fast. You can eat for a decent price (even though they can get pretty high). I ordered chicken breasts filled with feta and dried tomatoes, served with pesto rice, it was great. There's a nice variety of "raffinée" food but not with the usual portions for this type of restaurant: I almost didn't finish my plate! Gdansk restaurants don't have a lot of reviews on Yelp but this restaurant was one of the ones with the most. It's a bit mediocre. The bruschetta is heated with the tomatoes on the bread. I've never had the tomatoes heated before and the bread was soggy and not crusty. The chicken dinner I had was decent but nothing special. read more

Place is nice but, this is only one positive thing. English speaking clients will be really disappointed. No one speak English. Stuff was using a Google translator on the phone!!!!! I did not see such thing anywhere in Gdansk tourist center. The customer service level is 0. They are screw up our order, and then they brought us really spicy pizza, which no one can eat. No apologies, no even a try to resolve the problem. They are made me pay for screwed order and let it go this way. So, if you don't want get a food poison or deal with a very bad customer service stay away from this place. Expensive, but poorly done. WATCH OUT!!!!!!! read more

Like all food in Poland, the chef is light handed when it comes to seasoning. However, after searching for a while I managed to find the rosemary needle in a haystack. The service is quite befitting for the price of dining although they could be a little more modest for Polish standards. read more

Stopped in for dinner on a Wednesday. Was a bit taken back when the bar tender handed me a menu and said. "Find a seat. Here or upstairs. ". Looked ariund and decided to take my chances upstairs. Young lady at top of stairsrecognized my confusion and pointed telling me anyplace I'd like. At this point I was nervous. But service was prompt. Ordered duck with red cabbage.
