This was just a pitstop on our way home from a road trip. We literally just wanted some cold drinks and place to stretch. The play area is pretty cool if you like dinosaurs. About a 3-story play area. Bathrooms were clean enough. There was this annoying kid that just kept yelling super loudly. Thankfully his own family thought so as well and kept telling him to quit it but of course he wouldn't listen. Typical. And of course with these play areas, you always see the n00b parent go up there with the kid. It's always a good educational experience for them because they realize that things can't bend like they used to. I am giving this McDonalds five stars for the interior and the nicest manager around. She keeps the lines moving, and the food hot. She is definitely on hand. She is out on the floor visible during lunch hour rush. But the main reason we go is the Dinosaur play ground. The interior is epic for children who are fascinated with these creatures. It's always less than 5 min from the time I order using the kiosk to the time the food is brought to the table. The food is the basic McDonald's quality but it gets the job done lol. Overall, it gets 5 stars from me due to the awesome kids section and the informational atmosphere regarding dinosaurs! MCD Due to having my adult special needs son with me, I decided to go inside McDonald's and order. I tried to used the kiosk, since there were people being assisted by an associate. I tried to order a sausage McMuffin with cheese with the meal. That option was not available. I tried three times to look for a meal option, I didn't find one. I went up to the counter to order, the associate took two other orders from people in front of me. When I was helped, he asked "Are you paying for the order from the kiosk?". I said no, I couldn't get the order I wanted. At this point, instead of taking my order and could clearly see I am with a person who has special needs. Stomps over to the kiosk to "teach" me how to use it. Upon using the kiosk, he could not get the order I wanted to show up and had to order each piece individually. He was rude, condescending, and gaslit me on how to use the kiosk. I was not happy, he started to tell me to not get upset, this made me even more upset since he was gaslighting me about the order over and over since I just wanted the order to be taken quickly and this turned into an awful experience. I got upset since the associate was not helping the customer but taking the time to be rude and condescending. I told him to stop gaslighting me, and I would be leaving. If the employee was that sick he should be at home not passing his crap onto everyone else. The older man just left and didn't order. That was a great poor example of customer service. These poor workers! We frequent this location and the employees are awesome! I'm hoping that this 1 star review will get the franchise owners attention in that they need to put some basic support technology to make the employees more efficient and happier. For crying-out-loud in order to use Apple Pay at this location the employees has to physically take your phone into the store to get close enough for the transaction! RIDICULOUS! HEALTH HAZARD? Increases the spread of God knows what into the store, but the employee shouldn't have to be responsible for expensive phones by touching them in the first place! Owner/Management/Franchisee need to get the technology that allows the employee to extend the device to the customer! McDonald Employees should never touch a customers cell phone for many reasons!! This was an excellent location! They are super family friendly. My car broke down in the parking lot and they allowed me and my two kids, seven year old autistic child and 5 year old, to wait for our ride in the lobby even after it was closed.
