Ordered via app, went in for pick up. Clean and friendly staff. Easy and fast no issues. Been here several times throughout the yr and the manager seems very nice and helpful to his staff.

Ordered via App. Busy during lunch hrs but still relatively fast. Friendly staff. No issues with ordering or the double cheeseburgers I ordered for the kiddos before heading out to Bolsa Chica Beach.

Shout out to this McDonald's for the Yugioh
Nicolas J.

Shout out to the staff here, I saw the boss HUSTLING during the dinner rush and I've been in food service so I gotta give props to the big boss for his work ethic. He was prepping mobile orders, handling the drive thru, and his staff helped serve me with little haste on the dine in side. Every location is different thankfully they sell just the toys (limit 2 per person thankfully) and I snagged 2 I was missing LAST ONE OF EACH! Normally wouldn't spend my time on a review for McDonald's lol but between my joy for these toys and the good work ethic I saw from the staff, yall deserve the positive love so I'll add to it. Also the inside was very clean and it's close to the beach so not a bad detour (I needed the bathroom lol) again keep up the awesome job! :D

Ridiculous excuse for a fish Filet-O-Fish
Farah K.

OK McDonald's. I understand that food has to shrink a little in order to make ends meet, but a fish filet for $5.99 should NOT be THIS small!!!! My once in a while McDonald's treat is now out the door. Gotta find a new guilty pleasure.

Helpful hint: when handing a cup to a customer, hold it on the outside at the base. Don't put your fingers INSIDE the cup. Vomit.

Not sure how burgers and fries are consistently served luke-warm, at best, at this location. I always hope it'll get better, but.....

Even when covid hit we would still go and get our burgers. 5/8/26 we went to there new location I was like this is kinda nice by the water but I'm not going to lie but I do miss them being in Alhambra. My husband went to order the food so excited to eat my naplam death that was my only go to burger. Food was good but I did notice it gotten smaller with there burgers so disappointing because the burgers were huge! Needless to say as much I love grill'em All I won't be returning. It's about an hour drive which if the burgers were the same from the Alhambra location I would make the driver but they're not. It breaks my heart because this was my favorite burger spot and I would rave about to people how amazing your burgers are. I wish you all the best in the new location. My son got the behemoth that unbeknownst to us is sandwiched between two grilled cheese sandwiches. Stacked heavy and it defeated him. I got the Napalm Death and it didn't disappoint. Huge, messy, spicy, and the cream cheese worked super well against the stacks of spicy (jalapeños, jalapeño poppers, sriracha). An order of Primate Fries are easily a portion for 2-3 with burgers this huge. Friendly and dogs allowed everywhere. Worth the stop.

1st timers today, and will def not be our last visit…read more Shout-out to the Yelp reviews lead us to this Amazing Smash burger joint. Our order: -Onion rings (the right batter to sliced onion ratio & delicious seasoning); -the french fries- crispy and the right amount of salt seasoning *dipped into their Jalapeno ranch, and you will be left smiling!* -the Works: What a burger! I love Portabello mushrooms, caramelized onions, and Persian cucumbers, so when I read that on the menu, I knew I had to order this, and I am not disappointed! This hit the spot. The smash patty topped with my favorites made for a perfect burger filling party. -the Don Chendo burger- the salsa Don Chendo on a jalapeño-Cheddar bun - culinary innovation at its finest! For non-spicy eaters like myself, you can eat this. This is definitely tolerable spice with a delicious flavor that overrules any "heat". The buttery, softness of the bun with the cheddar and jalapenos melted into it compliment the flavors of the patty, red onions and Chendo sauce. Having a burger is a rare craving for us, and thankfully our taste buds led us here this time that we did, because we were left, not only satisfied, but can safely say that this is one of the fewest Exceptional burgers we have tried thus far. Burgers are huge too! You def get more bang for your buck here. Staff was very welcoming, friendly and attentive toward us. We truly appreciated the warm greeting and them making sure we felt comfortable with their product deliveries coming in/out of the restaurant while we ate. Not too big & not too small of a place. Ample seating booths make for a comfy social occasion. We highly recommend to All! & will return again!

Sideburns is a true hidden gem in Long Beach; conveniently located right next to The Stache Bar…read more I originally came for the Vegan Breakfast Burrito; and it absolutely delivered. Refried beans; crispy tots; vegan cheese; avocado; mushrooms -- hearty; filling; and layered properly. But what really makes this burrito stand out are the house-made sauces. The salsa has the perfect heat; and their vegan dipping sauce elevates the entire experience. You can taste the intention. Now let's talk about the burger. The vegan burger is not an afterthought here. It's juicy; well-seasoned; and balanced. The texture is on point; the toppings are fresh; and it holds its structure without falling apart. You can tell they care about execution. Between the house-made sauces; the fusion flavor profile; and the consistency across both items; Sideburns earns its spot. If you're in Long Beach and want vegan comfort food done right; this is absolutely worth pulling up to.

I grew up on the east coast, where frozen custard is everywhere. (Out here in CA it's not as…read morecommon) I was out in town and craving sweets. I remembered at a yelp event, shake shack was there handing out custard. As soon as I walked in, not just the girl at the counter, but even the lovely cooks in the back and other workers all said, welcome in. The customer service here is amazing, and definitely deserves 5 stars. I went up to the counter and ordered because I didn't see on the regular menu the scoops of custard. (I probably missed it. I saw all the delicious shakes listed though) That's when I met the amazing, Yaya. She was so helpful, she was really sweet and friendly and she was great at small talk I ordered 2 frozen custards, Yaya asked if we wanted any toppings. So we got one with just whipped cream and then one with crushed Oreos and whipped cream Yaya, buttered us up and asked us what name to put down for us pretty girls and our order We looked around for a bit while waiting. It only took about 2-3 minutes for our custard. So we took a peak around. We saw a sign saying that they have a first aid kit if needed and they have a CPR kit located behind the front counter. Which, I thought was really cool. This location of shake shack was also extremely clean. (I have ordered shake shack from Uber Eats, but have not been inside this location before) We got the custard to go, and after a couple minutes we were on our way. -I can't stress how friendly the workers were. Not just, Yaya, but every single staff member greeted every person who walked in. -The place was extremely clean -They do have kiosks, the kiosk even has Braille, which read, ask staff to enable voiceover -they have way more menu items than I thought! Including some alcohol options like beer and wine -they have special milkshakes right now and they have their boneless ribs going on -next time I'm craving a burger I'll definitely stop by and I'll be getting their delicious frozen custard afterward

A perfectly spicy kick, a big juicy chicken breast, crispy fried onions, basil for and added layer, and the most delicious curry sauce. So good. For the third consecutive year, I've been put into a position where I've had to organize a catered…read morelunch for a group of 10 to 20 people at work. Not wanting to choose one of the two eateries I chose each of the past two years, I went with The Stand to see if I can give them the 4th star that I've been trying to give them for the past year or two. The final verdict? No, unfortunately. This year, I was in a rather unique situation where I also had the option to double my party size, and The Stand had catering packages that would feed both party sizes: The Feast for 10 to 20 people, and The Big Feast for 20 to 40 people. But don't think The Big Feast is twice the size of The Feast; rather, the only difference is an additional platter of 20 half sandwiches/wraps. Otherwise, both will have a platter of 20 half sandwiches/wraps, a large gourmet salad, a large side, and a cookie/brownie platter. After much deliberation, I went with The Feast with Meyer Lemon Broccolini and a Sidekick of Chinese Chicken Chop Salad with Chips & Guac. I chose all this to avoid the need for flameless heating kits since I wasn't sure how they'd work. I was drafting an email to the catering team to add some supplementary instructions I overlooked initially, but after the FIRST15 to 20 minutes following submission of my order, Sydney from the Catering team gave me a call to ask for clarification on some details based on my email communication. Really appreciate how punctual she was at this, and she was happy enough to send out an updated invoice. However, I learned from Sydney that the Meyer Lemon Broccolini would need a flameless heating kit even though the catering website did not mention that. In fact, during my email communication prior to placing my order, I pointed out that the Meyer Lemon Broccolini and Red Ginger Green Beans weren't listed as vegetarian despite being vegetables, and they confirmed they were indeed vegetarian, but not vegan. I noticed these oversights were immediately addressed after I brought them to their attention. However, their website still indicates their cookies are vegan when they are not; I'm not going to bother with another email at this point lol. I had given them two weeks' notice for my order, knowing that the catering team can change it on their end. I didn't want just one flameless heating kit, so I decided to switch out the Chips & Guac for the Mac & Cheese, which is about $13 more. I arrived about 10 minutes before my scheduled pickup time, and I saw my catering order out in the open on a table where any customer could just grab it and go. Luckily, there were only a few customers inside, and when I stopped by my order, Kim came out to greet me. We recognized each other even 8 to 9 months after those technical difficulties spelled out in my last review update. I asked her to review my order with me before leaving, but when she said "Chips & Guac", the abstract record in my mind came to a screeching halt. I asked to see the invoice, and it was the older version from before I made the switch. I later found out they had printed my invoice too early even though their catering team said I could decide as late as the day before. Luckily, Kim checked the kitchen and needed only about 5 more minutes for the side of mac & cheese to be ready. She also let me keep the chips & guac even though she initially said she could swap it out, so that was nice at least. I also appreciate how they waited until my arrival to make a custom grilled cheese sandwich for my vegetarian guest, who enjoyed said sandwich. I also asked to put that guest's name on the box so I could tell easily. However, my abstract record cacophonously halted again when Kim asked me to pull up to the front door so they could load my order into my car. I had parked close by and previously requested for at least one employee to help me carry my order to my car. Also, I didn't want to block the right lane of the frontage road through the town center, so Kim and a team member helped carry the order to my car. My guests enjoyed the food for the most part, and I used this opportunity to invite them to visit The Stand with their family/friends on their own time (and dime lol). My order included an abundance of sauces and dressings, and I also appreciate how there were label stickers on each half sandwich/wrap in the platter. However, I would highly recommend a different means of labeling these sandwiches/wraps. As an example, I tried to grab a Chimichurri Steak Wrap only to find out it was actually a Falafel Wrap, which was the only vegetarian option in the platter. Good thing I got my vegetarian guest that grilled cheese sandwich! Lastly, if you've managed to make it to the end of this review, I'll let you know there's a discount code for customers placing a catering order for the first time. You actually read it in this review somewhere. Missed it? Sorry, I'm not giving it out like that. You'll have to re-read the review :)
