Well obviously they are not going to be more than 2 stars since it's "McDonald's".. I mean why are we still eating here?? There are so many healthy and more nutritional spots around there.. See, we were just trying to get some $1 drinks and a milkshake.. I searched all over that area at the time we were out for milkshakes around the area and couldn't find any.. We pull up to the drive thru and ordered out 3 cokes but the girl said their soda machine was broken and if I wanted a bottle water or coffee instead, I was like well is that gonna be a dollar too? but I didn't really say that I was just thinking that. Anyways I was a little upset and asked if their icecream machine was down too since it's usually always down but no it wasn't so all I got was a milkshake. Pull up to the window and saw the customers inside being provided with drinks!! I didn't want to make a scene so I just kept quiet and waited for my shake. Then the other customer next to that one ordered some drinks too!! WTH? and why the heck is my milkshake taking forever!! Ughhh.. I felt so betrayed and lied to.. ok so at this point i'm pretty irritated but calmed myself down by thinking maybe it was ordered before mines and those were the last of the drinks they have, idk?? so after I got my shake, I circled around and parked my car then thought if it's broken then they wouldn't have any drinks at all. Then I sent my kids in there to buy the cokes and they got it!! I thought their soda machine was down?? WTF?? This McDonald's is great never had issues here. We came really late at night so of course there was no line which is what I like! We did order a lot and it took them a while to make, fortunately they have a drive up spot so you can wait for your food so the line can keep moving which is nice. Since the order took a while they gave us a large fry and a cherry pie which was really nice of them, we didn't mind the wait. Kudos to the McDonald's! read more

I would like to give them 5 stars because I enjoy my iced coffee here every morning. 99% of the employees are so nice and enjoyable. There is one female, she is younger with light brown hair. I'm not sure what her name is because she is so rude and so quick to throw your food and drink out the window. Anytime you ask for a straw or a sauce ect. You get a rude tone or an eye roll. Girl I've worked in the food industry. Your days will be more pleasant if you smile and treat your costumers with the same respect they give you. Which is being nice and friendly. Be thankful that you are employed. I would love to have better service even though this is fast food. read more

This review is regarding the service this morning. Had a decently sized ordered an approach the drive-through window and came to find out that the price was more than half the original total. We confirmed with them to make sure that it is our order for we didn't want to take it advantage of this. They confirmed twice that it was correct until after we made the first payment. They realize they made a mistake and corrected it and we paid the second portion in cash. However, upon receiving the bag of food, one sandwich was not wrapped properly and half the food was exposed. Receipt was not given until asked. They only provided the second receipt that I paid in cash as a return receipt for part of my order but not the first one and I had to request it again. As I received the original receipt, I noticed that it was crumbled and very likely, in my opinion, it was thrown away. I am not happy with this at all and not sure if the food was touched/tampered with. Not very happy at all. read more

Don't like going to McDs that often nor would I think to review any of them but this McDs stood out and I had to drop them a 5 star. Ordered my food thru the drive thru, the girl over the intercom was very friendly and even more friendly when I pulled up to her window. She gave me my drink but I had to wait on the remainder of my meal and apologized and asked me to pull up. So I was waiting for a few mins, no biggie as long as my meal was fresh and not sloppily put together. The manager came out to deliver my food to me, very courteous, told me he upgraded my meal for waiting and was sorry for the wait even though seriously was less than 2 mins. For convenience we tend to forsake excellent customer service in the same time, this McDs gets high marks and a review from me for truly striving to excel at customer service in the fast food business. read more

Yup! 5 stars for this Mc Donald's! This is by far the best I've been at. Contrary to the reviews of other Yelpers, mine is on the positive side. We went to the drive thru on a Friday night, around midnight and ordered a quarter pounder and fries. To our surprise when we started our bites to the burger and fries, it was so fresh and delicious you wouldn't think it's from a Mc Donald's. It's like the food was served fresh out of the oven. The burger was very juicy and hot. Fries were hot and crispy like it just got pulled out from the fryer. Maybe it's this friday night shift that made our experience better. I don't know but definitely we will be coming back after our beach escapades! read more

Kinda find it funny that I'm sitting here writing a review for a McDonald's but this place is a solid five stars. Restaurant looks nice and clean, good seating, polite workers, and good food! Crispiest nuggets I've ever had. It's located right next to the San Gabriel Bike Trail so lots of cyclists stop in for a quick bite. Lots of bike racks in the area to accommodate all the bikes. My favorite part was when I was about to ask the manager if I could refill my bottles with water before returning back to my ride and before I could even say anything, he just waved at me as if saying, "Go fill it up with whatever you want." Just visited this "restaurant" the manager asked if I could do my own order on the kiosk as he was short staffed? I didn't take my glasses in as I wasn't expecting to work for them just get a couple of sandwiches... so he relented and took my order. It was wrong and a piece of paper was still attached to the cheese on my sausage McMuffin... when I pointed out that fact and that the other sandwich was wrong , he took it from me and grunted again.... when they fixed that one he handed it to me with another grunt.... wow... OK, I am reviewing a McDonalds, and that is kind of silly. However, this McDonalds located in beautiful Seal Beach is a true delight. I often find myself here on Saturdays for lunch with my 5 year old daughter. Here is what makes this location different from most McDonalds locations. Although this location is not particularly new, it is always very clean(washrooms included). The counter staff is always very friendly (watch for the big heavy set guy named Esteban...over the top friendly!). I can never predict the price at this one. They seem to be on their own in pricing, and they don't show their complete menu and I have even asked. While I don't eat here often, or at any MDs , I do want to know what the prices of product are, and they don't show all. What they don't show they charge more than other restaurants. I have been disappointed in this location many many times, but it is clean and fresh. I just wish they didn't appear to try and rip you off by not disclosing their prices that are higher, and why not have a complete menu so you can see what prices they are asking. Came to get 3 orders of the same meal through the drive through and it took her forever to understand what I wanted, on top of that with her snappy ass attitude. Then when we pull up to pay for our order and this girl drops my card out of the window, doesn't even apologize or nothing. Obviously she needs more training or another job. If I could give this McDonald's a 0 stars then I would. We pulled up and ordered food. Absolutely no one in the dive thru and they had us pull to the side to wait for our food. Our order was NOT large at all. So we pulled over and asked if we were able to use the restroom, there were still people eating inside, but they said "no, it's closed" I asked to speak with the manager and he told the cleaning guy to ignore us. Afterward the manager came out to give us our food and again asked him if we could use the restroom because we had been waiting for food for over 20 minutes. He said the general manager was in and he would get in trouble so I asked to speak with the general manager and told me that he had just left? What? How?? You just said 1 second ago that he was here??? Dumbfounded I told him that I demand to speak with his manager now and he quickly ran inside and ignored us while locking the door behind him. THE VERY WORST SERVICE IN THE HISTORY OF RESTAURANTS! I hope this manager tonight Wednesday, March 20 gets fired because if this is the type of leadership he's projecting then this whole empire will go down. I used to think this was the best location! The male manager is always friendly and accommodating and quick! However, the last time I went, a female general manager took my order. I asked for an Americano which I've ordered for the last 2-3 years and I explained how to make it because it seemed like she didn't know what I was talking about. She then yelled at me in front of the whole store and refused. Don't go to this location! The nicest McDonald's I've been in. The tables and music resemble a coffee shop. There is wifi, so I brought by laptop to do work, but it turned out the WiFi speed was kind of slow. Regardless, this is my favorite McDonald's. Great place to go to read or do non-computer work. Plenty of large tables unlike most coffee places, and there is plenty of food to order. read more

The wife and I stop here once in awhile for an unhealthy snack craving. Our most recent visit was our worst, don't think I would come back. Asked for fries with no salt, pretty simple request right? Apparently not. After the cashier shouted at the lazy manager twice to give me fries with no salt, he still gave me fries covered in salt. Another female manager was running around shouting at employees to get back to work for a bit. Not the first time I experienced this kind of unprofessional management at this location. The owners or managers who ever they are, constantly shout at and micromanage employees right in front of the customers. This is not a pleasant experience for customers. Anyhow the shouting is not working cause the place is filthy at 6 in the evening. The place was empty and could not find a clean table to sit and grease and food all over seats. Meanwhile employees and floor manager clown around and chit chat. Also not pleased with how they are super stingy with condiments. You have to ask for literally anything here besides ketchup, and they give you bare minimum when do get it. Since McDonalds is no longer any cheaper than the burger joints that taste better, such as Habit Burger, In and Out and the like, there is no reason to eat there anymore and given the things I just mentioned, other reasons will keep me way too. Due to unhealthy tasteless fare, and no service, McDonalds will just slowly start closing locations and just be a piece of American history within 7-10 years. read more

Every single time I make the mistake of buying food at this location, they've made me wait for food in the parking lot. EVERY TIME. This McDonald's is absolutely horrible. The only reason we ever go here is because it's the only McDonald's close (not going to go out of my way for a McDonald's). Fast food is no longer fast food. Well, for this location at least. No matter if you're in a long line of customers at the drive through or the ONLY on sitting there you hear the infamous, "can you please pull forward until your food is ready?" I wouldn't have a problem if I had some wazoo order but each person that comes through the drive thru has to pull forward and wait on their food. By Far, this is the worst McDonald's ever. Up until now I have frequented this establishment on more than a few occasions. Today , I went through the drive thru, with the wife and puppy in the car and I ordered without a problem, I pulled forward to the second window as instructed and was told to pull up to wait for the food, it was not a special order or request, I pulled up and waited and waited and then this lady comes out with the food and asks me what I ordered, I told her that I didn't exactly remember everything that I ordered and she wouldn't confirm my order with me, she then proceeded to say that I was trying to steal food. She still didn't want to give me my food that I had ordered. And then she went to another car to see if they were waiting for their order and another car and then started to walk back into the restaurant and a shift leader came out and I advised her that the lady accused me of stealing food and the shift leader told her to apologize but she would not, I then asked to speak to a manger and the manager said it is a Corporate decision to keep the appearance that there are no cars in the drive thru. Never thought I'd be reviewing McDonald's! But the other day, I picked my daughter up after I got off work to drive her around for her errands. I hadn't eaten all day, and I was hungry! We stopped at this McDonald's and ordered through the drive thru. I wasn't expecting much due to the fact that they were under construction and the fact that I am gluten intolerant. But I was hungry enough that if nothing else, I could munch on some fries to tide me over. I asked for the double cheeseburger from their dollar menu, but I asked for it with "no bun". They did seem a bit confused, and asked if I wanted it in a bag....I asked if they could put it in a box (like the ones they use for specialty burgers), they not only gave it to me in a to go covered plate, but when I cut into it, all the extras (onions, ketchup and even pickles) were in between the two burgers! It was awesome! It was like a surprise inside! I think they should actually put this on their menu as their gluten free double cheeseburger! Loved it! read more

One of the worst McDonald's in Orange County. Poor customer service. Folks working there don't seem to know their menu. I think maybe they don't understand you well unless you speak Spanish. Worst yet, the bathroom is dirty and nasty. I think the homeless folks in the area uses it to bath or clean themselves up. Maybe when i came to use the bathroom, some homeless dude just got done using it-yuk, it WAs very gross!!! Friendly, fast, and they actually care about the condition of the food that goes out. I ordered Spicy Chicken McBites and they told me that they are making a fresh batch since the one on had was stale. They had me pull over and wait approx 3mins and VOILA, there came out one of the employees with my order and free small fries for the "inconvenience". Now I compare this to the experience I had at the McD's on 27331 La Paz Road, Laguna Niguel and the Spicy Chicken McBites tasted like they sat around under the heat lamp for 2hrs, they were stale and cold.
