Worst McDonald's I have been too. In one months time frame recieved multiple orders incorrectly made wrong sized fries from order food not prepared correctly and the pull up and wait for the to deliver to the cat two times never recieved the food will never patronize this location or any McDonald's again they keep raising prices If prices are raised to pay employees then it's not deserved. Worst place to eat in Salem... I know of 3 people personally that have eaten there and developed food Bourne illness... nothing is ever ready to pull forward and wait on the simplest orders... the order board will be correct the receipt will be correct, but the food in the bag is 80 percent of the time wrong. the ice coffee taste like butt, the icecream is never working they take forever there bathrooms are never clean and don't have toilet paper. there fries are always cold and soggy and never salty or good, there sweet tea is like never sweet and when it is it's very sour, there burger meat is uncooked, there chicken nugs are the only good things they got going, there floors are very slipper, there new play place is actually trash and borin, there workers stank, they need a new uniform,there donuts are gross they probably have been sitting out for long periods of time, there prices are outrages, they charge you for water, nobody enjoys working there, DO BETTER!!! read more

The last few times I have been to this McDonalds location have all been terrible experiences!! The last trip - Saturday lunch - I pulled into the drive thru....ordered a smoky BLT. I went to the first window and paid. Then after a wait pulled up to the next window ( where you pick up your order) and the server had an ice cream soda poking it out the window as this was not what I ordered. So I said "that's not my order"..... then The server asked what I had ordered. I told her a smoky BLT. She then tells me that I had not paid for that and I needed to pull up and wait!!!!!! I couldn't pull up there were already 2 vehicles in the "waiting " spot so I had to drive around and park. I then went inside and explained my story to what appeared to be a Manager....... I said I ordered a smoky BLT and was told I didn't pay for it!!!!!! I showed her on my cell phone where they had charged my debit card!!!!!!! She then asked one of the other workers if there was a smoky BLT on the orders and they handed it to her. She then hands it to me and doesn't say anything!!!!! Like I'm sorry for the confusion, nothing just handed my the bag and walked off!!!! NOW....... I open the sandwich in my car and it is a BURGER - the McDonalds BLT is a burger folks!!!!!!! Made the mistake of stopping here to use the restroom around 10pm on a Saturday. The restrooms were clean as with most McDonald's, much cleaner than the kitchen appeared. On my way out, I ordered a mini Reece's Mcflurry at the terminal by the checkout counters, paid, and began my wait... After standing at the counter for around 8 minutes, I was finally acknowledged by a manager and told they would be, "right with you". A few minutes later she called across the kitchen to ask an employee if they knew how to make a Mcflurry... They did not. This is a store that gets a good amount of drive thru action but didn't seem like they had that many cars pulling through at the time. During my 20 minute wait, I counted around 6-7 employees in the kitchen. Finally, after what was either 20 minutes or extremely close to it, I was presented with a messy "Reese's" Mcflurry that I was honestly afraid to consume. I dug through it a bit just to see if there was any Reece's in it, but it looked mostly like vanilla soft serve with maybe a teaspoon of Reece's stirred in. I should have just paid and immediately left; would have saved me some time, and my boyfriend waiting in the car some worry. read more

Every time I visit Salem I order food from here a few times. I go through the drive thru or order via the app. Every time I've been here I've had a great experience. The drive thru staff are friendly and helpful. The times I have ordered though the app have been pleasant as well. One morning the manager came out to deliver my food. She wore a nice smile and was concerned with how my pickup experience was. This McDonalds is a great addition to the downtown area. They provide exceptional service and are five stars all around. read more
