How does one effectively rate a McDonald's? The food quality is (more or less) the same as any McDonald's anywhere. It's fast, it's cheap, it's mostly edible depending on what type of luck you're having that day. Generally, the more salt they pour on the stuff, the better. So really what you're reviewing when you review a McDonald's is the quality of service. This one is about average. The daytime crew, with a few exceptions, is very good. There are a few people who don't seem to rise to the base level of competency necessary to do *any* job, but that's America for you. They wind up at McDonald's. The rest of the daytime crew is fine. The overnight crew is a little more juvenile and definitely younger. It's not terrible or anything, but they certainly act a little more "mischievous" and play around on the intercom during orders. This is basically the only hot food you can get after hours within a 45 minute drive in any direction, though. I eat here a lot (more than I'd like to admit) because I'm up late, so that's the endorsement I can give: Pretty average, not ever bad enough to prevent me from coming back, could be better. Mobile app wasn't working and it took 7000 of my points, but wouldn't take my order. Manager refused to help and instead yelled from the back "there's nothing I can do about it--it's not working". This McDonald's is the bane of my existence! Decided to treat myself to a late night McDonald's run on my birthday. A normal drive is 10 minutes one way, but a detour due to major wreck added another 10. Arrive to a huge line in drive thru, so I went in. I wanted a big Mac and HiC meal. If i could give them 0 stars I would! Shame on this restaurant! I ordered 2 mc griddles 3 hash browns and a large sweet tea. I payed them they pulled me to the first parking spot. I waited and was running late for school so when I finally got my order I left in a hurry. Now I'm sitting here in class looking at this order and it's not even worth the amount I paid. I got a cheese bacon biscuit like who even orders that and a soggy hash brown with two pies the pie was ok. But now I'm sitting here hungry and can't leave school to get the right order. Paid for my meal. Was asked to wait in the numbered spots. No big deal. It happens. I can wait an extra 5 minutes. It wasn't even particularly busy. But I waited for an hour and never got my order. I just left empty handed. Fast food should be a little quicker than 60 minutes. But what do I know? I'm the idiot who waited that long for a cheeseburger. read more

Worse service ever. These kids need to learn what service is. They act as they are totally inconvenienced when customers order. It is such a shame. During the COVID, we are trying to help local businesses stay open, but even then, service is nowhere to be found at this McDonald's location. The young male tries to provide good service, but the young girls are horrible. They have an attitude that makes their customers feel very uncomfortable being there. You know a place sucks when there's no way to effectively complain. WHAT IS THE POINT OF ORDERING & PAYING WITH THE APP IF YOUR ORDER ISN'T READY WHEN YOU GET THERE?! Ordered on the app, paid with paypal, grab something with no delay on the way to work right? WRONG! The app doesn't tell you that it doesn't place the order until it senses that the device the order was placed on is within 2 miles of the store! I don't take my iPad to work, so I'm screwed. I wouldn't be nearly so aggravated and irritated if the app hadn't seen fit to take my money! So even though I have paid, not only do I not have my order it won't be started until I bring the iPad to the store! Like I have time for this?! i ordered online & when i pulled up they gave me my drinks but i ordered 2 mediums & they just left so i looked at them & yelled so they could hear me. Both girls looked back & kept walking so my mom honked and they came back. I told them my drink was wrong & they kept telling me i was wrong but it was clearly a small & not a medium, on the drink the "S" which is small, was highlighted & was much smaller than my other drink which was a medium. The two girls looked like teens & one had red & black hair while the other had all black. These two girls were very rude & i wish to never be served by them again. They often get the orders wrong - more often than not, despite getting the most business out of the restaurants on 79 through town. Also, their coffee maker is almost always in "cleaning mode," which is never a thing at other McDonald's restaurants. I've gone in at 6am, 8pm, plenty of other times in between, it makes no difference. It seems when they don't feel like bothering with it, "cleaning mode." Which brings me to my next point: Up until recently, everyone at this store have been jerks. OK. It's MacDonald's I know. But I had a hamburger, with a nostalgic memory from when I was in high school of the onions, mustard and ketchup in every bite. This did not live up to the memory. I am not sure how you can out so little mustard and ketchup on! Only 2 bites had any. And where were the onions?! The fries were cold. We did the kiosk order with the table tent. But, they called our receipt number instead. Then, no drink cups. They didn't pay attention and gave a bigger size cup than we paid for. Worse McDonalds ever still many of the employees here are lazy and rude, mouth off to the customers and each other, ones taking order half the time don't listen and you have to repeat yourself over and over again, the ones taking your money snatch it out of your hand and rarely offer a receipt and NEVER read back your order to make sure you are paying for your order not another car's order. most of the ones handing out the order are all very rude, 9 out of 10 times hand out the wrong stuff, will argue when they try and hand you a small iced coffee when you ordered and paid for a large, etc. The outside trash is ALWAYS full, inside is half the time clean especially if the chunky mexican lady is there she keeps it pretty clean. Some of the front drive workers pretty much throws anything into your bag and all but throws it at you. I rather them take a little longer and get it right then hand me someone else's order or when I order a diet drink either for me or someone else who is diabetic they actually give me a diet / sugar free drink NOT the sugar version. Service was terrible! I asked for a "light caramel frap with skim milk", which after 10-15 min. (& paid for) I was told they couldn't make it but the mocha hot coffee could be made with skim. One of the management people earlier told me, after some confusion, that she'd "take care of it". I stood waiting & became more upset that I was being ignored. Then another management person asked rather curtly was I waiting for something. I told her I was waiting for my light caramel frap, which she corrected me with "frappaay" correcting my shortened version, then told me above. So I told her to just give me the hot mocha but drop a couple of sweeteners in it, but I mistakenly said Equal, to which I was told (again curtly) that they don't have that but Splenda. I was like whatever just give them to me & I'll put them in it. I was then told "you don't have to be rude", as she went to take the mocha back. I told her again to just give them to me & I'll stir it. Frankly I just wanted OUT of there!! BTW, I've also reported some health code violations to the Milam Co.
