Today I had a bad experience at McDonald's these people play for a fool. I go there a lot to get my drink. It's either sweet tea or the blackberry passionfruit refresher so I know the prices. Today I ordered the blackberry passionfruit refresher asked for a large with extra ice like I always do when I got to the window. They gave me a medium so I called her back and told her I ordered a large she said no it says a medium I said no I ordered a large I paid for a large.. what does she do? She turns around very carefully hides what she's doing and dump it into a large cup meanwhile, it's not full because it's a medium, not a large and she comes back in hand it to me. I said no I saw what you did. You just put it in a large cup and this a lot missing. OK again she turns back another coworker comes and another coworker comes. What do they do? They just add more ice. I said no I just saw what you did. I can't stand with you. People do this like this. I started getting really irate. I told her I wanna see a manager. He comes his name was Anthony and I explained what happened he took the drink. He said he'll make it right and 30 seconds later he comes back with the large cup same cup. They only added a little more ice to make it full like I didn't see that and I just got pissed off and took off. I don't know if I'm gonna go back there or not because this isn't the first time they've messed up like this and not taking the blame. It was close to my friend's house, so we did a quick bite for lunch to go. Since McDonald's has a spicy chicken McCrispy sandwich, I decided to go with that, and the Banana split Mcflurry also sounded good. We ordered through the app and parked at one of the special spaces. A minute or two later, it came. The chicken sandwich had the heat needed for me to enjoy, and was flavorful. The crispy chicken could have been more juicy, but it was still decent. There was lettuce and tomato that was fine, and it was an extra charge (I did the deluxe version). I wasn't impressed with the banana split Mcflurry though. The soft serve ice cream was ok, but didn't really taste any banana. I think I tasted cherry instead, and I'm pretty sure it was artificial. There were supposed to be KitKat pieces, but it felt a bit flat. The service was fast and nice. They provided cupholders so I could hold them in the front seat while my friend drove back home. I didn't go inside, so I am not sure of the atmosphere. While I prefer Chick Fil A better for spicy chicken sandwiches, McDonald's was fine too. Though I would avoid the banana split Mcflurry. I would overall give 3.75 out of 5, but since I had a horsey ride today, I am happy and will round up to a 4. read more

This time the experience was bad. It took almost 20 minutes to deliver a coffee. I tried the curbside, but since they didn't give me my order I needed to go inside. Inside, I noticed that they had so many people but working slow. When I asked about my coffee they ignored me. When I saw the coffee ready they also just set it a side even though I was trying to get their attention so I could pick it up. Bad experience this time. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered directly through the Mcdonald's app of course they mess up my order, and sends my food to me already opened. I call this location, they tell me I had to contact DoorDash (I did not order my food through DoorDash.) I contact door dash and they of course can not help since I did order with them. At the same time my partner contacted McDonalds through the app, and lo and behold, the app is refunding the order. The Gen. Manager Anthony that I spoke with had a nice tone and wanted to help, however he should make sure he's aware of the protocol, as well as make sure employees aren't bagging food that is still clearly opened. read more

Overall, not a fast location. Don't go during dinner or at night and your experience will be fine. Food: Makes it right but sandwiches are usually messy and fries a little undercooked for my preference. "Ambiance": Clean for McDonald's standards. Depends how late in the day you go. They have a sign that says you're only allowed to sit there for 30 minutes. Service: What you expect. Night shift problems: the line will wrap around the entire building and they move like snails on the night shift. 1/2 the time you'd think there's only 1 person working. This is a EXTREMELY busy location so it needs to be better. Last time I went here (a few weeks ago ngl) it took over 45 minutes for a nugget happy meal to come out. I was going to get the dulch de leche milkshake thing, the lady wasn't too happy with how I pronounced it but it's whatever (italian is my first language so I was struggling a bit to say it especially since I've never heard of that before). Their ice cream machine was broken, as expected, but we were sitting in the drive through waiting for the girl to take our order for like 20 minutes. Mind you it was around 10pm on a Saturday night and it wasn't busy whatsoever. I had just gotten off of a 12 hour shift at work, so I was pretty hungry. Let's start off with my order a simple 10-piece nugget and with my app I got a 2nd one free. After waiting a solid 15 minutes for my order I was given a Big Mac and a 10 piece. once I talked to the manager he argued that what It says on the receipt was a big mack rather than just fixing the issue they made in the first place after that my 10 pieces were made and they grabbed the Big Mac and put it back on the shelf. not only is that nasty but just seemed unprofessional. also, my iced coffee tasted like it was water with caramel. read more

This is just one of the many visits I've made here and yes I go back 1. because it's the only one close by and I do take into account that's why is always so busy 2. I stopped through your drive thru Sunday night around 1130pm. Location on big bend rd and us hwy 301 riverview Florida. Ordered a kids meal burger only ketchup and a mchicken. I paid and went to the pick up window. The shift lead at the time. Was a hound black guy saw us waiting but continued to horse around with an employee "Lisa" just talking and dancing about who's going over to his place. I received half of my mobile order from this location. The employee who handed me the bag assured me the 2 chocolate shakes were in the bag. When I arrived home, they had placed 2 iced waters in the bag and only half of the order. The franchise owner sent a response email to my complaint to state that the employees would be spoken to but, no resolution for missing food. The price of the food, quality, and customer service are not worth it. There are other fast food establishments in the area, I recommend trying one of those. read more

I dread going to this location. I had an Uber pick up my food at this location the food arrives at my home and the order is completely wrong . To top it off the double quarter pounders were raw. So I get in my car drive back to the location to have them remake my order and the manager just looks in the bag and throws it in the garbage trust me I was pretty good about it . I had having to update my review on the good experience I had last time to the most recent experience I have had now. I had a meal missing from bag bag at the drive thru ( double cheese burger, small Fri, and 4 piece. The meal comes up to $4.99 with a drink. I received the drink but not the food. I tried calling a couple time when I got home to see if they would honor it on my next visit. First she was annoyed that I didn't ask for my recipe. I NEVER get a recipe there unless I ask. Which I usually don't because they use to be spot on. She did say I could use a bank statement. I came in today and asked if the would honor it, manager on duty was Joy. She questioned who I spoke to but unfit for me I didn't know they had multiple managers. I told her I had proof of the transaction but she didn't care to even see it. Why on earth would I lie about $4. I get it people do that. She was rude and upset for no reason. I even said if it's not possible I'll just place my order. Kept yelling saying that I was giving her attitude when o was barely speaking since I had my babies sleeping in the car. They did not honor the meal I never received but that wasn't not my complaint. Sorry McDonalds at Riverview near Big Bend but your establishment is absolutely awful. I usually give a pass to fast food but this place needs to be shut down. First off their service and communication is horrible. The workers seem to hate their job and that gets transferred to the customer. But by far their biggest issue is ensuring your meal is complete let alone hot. By far, I would have to say, on my limited visits, the order is ALWAYS incomplete and most certainly not even warm. So although this post is out of frustrations it is absolutely the last time I go here. I can only guess that their attitude toward the customer is part of why they short orders and not ensure the order is complete. People that work there don't care and it shows!!! I wish the owner would take a moment to read these posts as they share themes, employees that don't care, short orders, incorrect orders, no napkins, no condiments, missing items and just a lack of friendliness. I know some fast foods are pretty efficient at delivering good quality food and customer service. However, this McDonald's is the anomaly. Although the delivery with Uber Eats was swift and courteous, the food was not what was expected. The food was cold, stuff, dry, and all types of wrong. No sauce. Fries were soggy and felt slight old. The soda we asked for was all messed up and watered down. I probably won't order late night cravings from here again.
