The restaurant was a newer version - nicely decorated with the self-ordering kisoks but still with a young man to take your order (I don't care for the kisoks). Breakfast and coffee here were a treat. This is a super clean store. The service was a tiny bit slow, but we were okay with that because the four items we ordered and the two cups of coffee were piping hot, super fresh and delicious. The team members were attentive, professional and friendly. Such a rarity in today's world. They were engaging with their regulars and also we travelers. I should have read the reviews. I drive a big truck, so tried to order through the app. It's 9:50 pm and app says I can only order breakfast, but can't pick up until tomorrow am. Came inside and go register, explained and told they don't have 24 hour breakfast. I said "I don't want breakfast", then I'm told to use kiosk. Sane thing on kiosk. Only breakfast selections available on screen, but not available. Back to counter. No one there. Finally catch a guy who tells me he's leaving and can't ring me up. That's fine. Can you get someone who can? Blank look. Another guy comes up and explains they don't have breakfast now. "I know. I don't want breakfast". Also no iced tea. Place my order and food comes out. Cold. No drink. Asked blonde girl for drink who annoyingly set a cup on the counter. Go to get drink and it sprays everywhere. All the fountains are missing the cup that directs the drink. Go back to counter and get the drive through guys attention who fills a drink for me. Bathrooms and the drink area are disgusting, see attached picture of the fountain drink area. It's a bit strange returning to a place where I worked years and years ago. The building was apparently re-built and looks nothing like the building where I worked. They've tried to dress it up and it looks a bit upscale; however, it's still McDonald's. The little tree stump stools were interesting. Their free WiFi wasn't working. I ordered a Filet-o-Fish meal and it arrived in a minimum of time, but the fries looked as though they'd been waiting since the afternoon. When I opened the box for the Filet-o-Fish, the cheese was hanging over the edge of the box. It wasn't so busy that they didn't have time to care. I've been in the store previously when it was busy and they did a better job. At least, the sandwich had a good flavour and the bun was steamed properly without crispy edges. The staff didn't seem overly friendly, as though it was a hardship to be there. They weren't nasty, but being friendly is part of the job. McDonald's gets by with their consistency but they really weren't doing their best at this store this time. read more

The location is convenient. Right off 70 when you get off S.R. 73. The food is ok. The quarter pounder felt smaller than what I've gotten at other locations. This McDonalds was terrible today. I drove up to the speaker and no one acknowledged me. Moved to the other streaker. Ordered food and they had to make eggs. Told me to pull over in the wait area. 10 minutes later I got out of my car and went in to get my own food. It was sitting on the counter. I asked why they didn't bring it out. They just looked real dumb at me. I told them it was because they did not give a damn about the customer or their job. They just look dumbfounded. This was at 7:00 am on August 1, 2017. This location was absolutely disgusting and it's clear no one here cares. Even walking in there was trash and cigarette butts everywhere. The bathrooms were extremely gross, out of soap, soap dispensers broken, toilet paper just sitting on the hand rails instead of in the holders. Attached photos of the condiment and supply stations where it was just a mess or out of supplies, no napkins, everything was sticky to where they clearly hadn't cleaned the day before as this location had only been open a couple hours before I stopped in. Dr Pepper was flat so had to settle for Coca Cola. Only thing that was decent was my sandwich, so high five to the cooks cause they're the only ones here doing a decent job. read more

They denied my request and ignored a simple customer request plus added to the waste in the world. We were looking for a McDonalds to stop at yesterday and this one came up on Google search as being the closest. It was rated two and a half stars. I joked, how bad can it really be? Well, turns out the rating was overly generous. Place was grungy and filthy. I've been to my share of McDonalds over the years, and this place is one of the reasons it's losing its shine. I'm not sure where to begin, but the place needs a solid scrub from top to bottom. The food was typical McDonalds, and nothing special. Service was also average. Tree stump stools, bear silhouettes, stuffed bears climbing up trees, stone fireplace, faux antler light fixtures, tree trunk pillars, and a sign over the drink station reading "MAY THE PEACE OF THE WILDERNESS BE WITH YOU." If you have kids and must stop at a McDonald's by the highway, you could choose worse. It's very cold and the TV is big and loud, however. read more

I ordered through door dash cause I drive a truck. I ordered a Double Quarter Pounder meal large size, 4 McChickens and 2 extra large sprits along with the large sprite that came with the meal. DoorDash drops my order off and I'm missing a large sprite and they didn't send any straws. So I call and tell them that they messed up my order to just put my money back on my card and they respond in saying to do that I have to bring the card to the store. They have no problems using the card not being at the store so they should have no problem putting my money back on it. Sry staff and management worst McDonald's I've ever ordered from and will never order there again. Just take peoples money and can't take orders right but as long as it's not there money screw everybody else. I give this place a zero. read more
