McDonald's - Ordered a large :/ - Fast Food Near Me - Richlands, North Carolina

Extremely rude service. Ignored me while I was trying to pick up a Grubhub order. First they said they threw away the order (that was already paid for) because it wasn't picked up by 10:30. Then they proceeded to say they never got the order. I'm sure one of the employees got hungry. I get it's just McDonald's but there was no reason to be that hostile over some food. I drove 15min out of my way to pick up this order and then did not get paid from Grubhub because they decided they weren't going to make an order than WAS placed before 10:30 read more

Horrible. Waited FOREVER despite there being one car in line. Got our order wrong at first. Forgot the McFlurry and when they finally gave it to me it looked like this. I never post reviews on fast food because it's literally just trash food anyway but this was SHOCKING. read more

We came here to pick up some dinner. There was a line for the drive-thru but, there was no line in the restaurant. There were a few people eating in restaurant. We waited 15 minutes before anyone even came to acknowledge us because they were doing other things. When we finally got our order taken, they were friendly. However, I would agree to other reviewers, I ordered a 20 pieces and so did my dining mates and each one us didn't get 20 pieces. I feel like this has been a common theme at most fast food places. read more

Worst McDonald's in Onslow County. Why does it always take 15-30 min just to get some fries and a shake, there is no reason why. Every-time I come to this McDonald's there is nobody inside nor in the drive-thru it somehow still take 10 min plus. If you are in a hurry, DO NOT come here! Also to mention I asked for a double quarter pounder with cheese and bacon with only ketchup, tell me why I get a normal quarter pounder. I despise Richlands McDonald's read more

The slowest drive thru ever. The wait everytime is at least 20 minutes. Insanely slow and definitely learned my lesson more then once

11:30 a.m. only two people in line inside two people in line in the Drive-Thru . The manager yells across the entire restaurant do not take any more orders until I say so. So I left. read more

There are two reasons I would write a review about McDonald's. One is if it were so bad that management needs a review with constructive criticism. The second is if the particular location is doing something noteworthy and right. This location falls in the second category and needs to hear kudos for the extras that are provided. MY RATING BASIS: The first plus is for the coloring pages and crayons close by the ordering area for kids to take to the tables for use while in the restaurant. 5 stars The second plus is for the printed materials such as the "About Me" booklet with reading and games for kids to take. They also have copies of McDonald's monthly calendars that give dates toys begin in Happy Meals, special offers and promotions. 5 stars The third plus is for hosting Family Fun Nights every Wednesday. 5 stars This location serves the regular McDonald's menu and the food is fresh and hot. 3 stars The service is prompt and courteous. 4 stars The dining areas and bathrooms are clean and well stocked with standard supplies. 4 stars The location offers free Wi-Fi. 4 stars The parking lot is crowded but offers a number of parking spots, both regular & handicap. 3 stars If I lived close by I would be content with this restaurant as my local McDonald's. read more

It's McDonald's! I'm 41. I do not expect my dining experience at McDonald's to be so overwhelming that I am lost, without words, breath taken. It's McDonald's. This is a good McDonald's. Actually this is a great McDonald's! It's clean. It's also got the key ingredients my orders require. (Trust me, not a guarantee the closer you get to the beach). I'm a diehard McNuggets fan. I love my sweet tea and I they never disappoint. If there is a new menu item, this McDonald's let's you know! I never have to research when my McRib is back, because they'll tell me. That's a friend. There is one downfall. Other patrons. Sometimes they leave a mess at their tables. I do not know why people do this. I suppose McDonald's should hire one employee per customer, to kind of provide a private garbage shuttling service? In the restaurant and restrooms. And if McDonald's could limit every order by other patrons to one menu item per day, that would make the ordering process of all patrons go faster! I definitely do not enjoy having to wait for any reason ever! Of course I am being sarcastic. Sadly, I am not sure others have taken a moment to try their nuggets before judging. Oh, and please don't be too harsh about our flies here in Richlands. We're aware. You like your bacon? Embrace our flies. If you aren't certain what that means do some research. read more

THIS MCDONALDS RIGHT HERE!!!! It is the BEST McDonald's I have EVER ate at. We ate here Friday and today (Tuesday) and got a double quarter pounder each time, BOTH times it was HOT and freshly cooked, and I know this sounds weird but the MEAT don't even taste like McDonald's like it tastes REAL like five guys, I can't get over it! 11/10 recommend!! Keep up the good work please y'all! read more

My order arrived quickly but incomplete the person I spoke to very rude. People in this area constantly tell me how bad the service at Richlands is abysmal and I agree. Not receiving our full order was annoying, but to be treated with such rudeness is unforgivable. Blaming the Uber driver will not work with many people. read more

SAVE YOUR TIME! DO NOT EAT HERE! I have never had such a terrible experience at a McDonald's restaurant in my entire life. First of all, there were no fountain drinks AT ALL, no smoothies, no coffee. The only thing you could get to drink were bottled water, Orange Juice, Apple juice, white milk, and chocolate milk. At this rate I was already pissed, but the fact that they didn't tell me until I had ordered is what really made me angry. Then once the food has came out, there were more problems. I had ordered a Quarter Pounder with cheese with no pickles but when my order came out it had pickles. The food was ok, but nothing special. Once I finished my food, I wanted some ice for the road because I still had water left over. Well there was very poor costumer service so I ended up leaving and had to pay for a cup of ice at the Speedway next-door. I will NOT be coming back here. Save your time and go to the one in Jacksonville. read more

Update. February 22nd. This morning the lady accidentally left her microphone on, and was complaining about customers being ready to order at 5am. Went to this location for breakfast this morning. Slow morning maybe 2-3 of us in the drive thru line. Water about 7-8 mins and then they forget my hash-browns! Not one, not two, but all three hash-browns in my order were not there. So sad and disappointing. read more

The absolute worst fast-food experience of my life. I arrived at this McDonalds at 9:30am on a Sunday morning. The line had about 3 people in front of me...which is a pretty normal wait-time. I ordered a #10 combo - very simple...nothing complicated about it. I paid and was given a receipt which was time-stamped 9:34am. I stood by the counter patiently waiting for my food...as did a number of other patrons. They were doing a decent job of accepting the orders...but the food was not coming out. Within just a few minutes there were about a dozen people who had already paid for their food standing around - waiting for it. My food finally hit the counter at 9:51am. That was a 17-minute wait...at McDonalds. That is beyond slow, and it is utterly unacceptable. Everyone else who was there with me that morning experienced very long wait times as well. I am not sure if this is a common occurrence at this location or not, but this is the absolute worst experience at McDonalds that I have ever had. As a side-note, as I stood there for 17-minutes waiting for my food, I could not help but recall a news story that I read just a few days prior. McDonalds workers, and other fast food employees, went on strike across the country to demand a $15/hour wage. How about this: Do your job at $7.50/hour first...maybe then we can discuss something beyond minimum wage. This McDonalds is an embarrassment to the franchise and should be shut down. read more

Would give 0 stars if I could, three times in a row they've given me the wrong meal and left me sitting in the waiting slots of the drive through for upwards of 20 minutes. Don't go here, better off driving into Jacksonville read more

Been hitting this Micky D's since highway 24 became the quicker route between Raleigh and Bogue Banks. Always busy at mealtimes. Road trip waypoint for me. Service time: less than 2 minutes Food quality: Crispy Buttermilk Chicken B+, Fries C- Cleanliness: B Service Quality: A Wifi: Strong Upon stating my order the cashier walked away from the counter, searching for something. Came back with a stack of promo coupons for the menu item I ordered. Used one and gave me one for later. Based on other reviews this McD's has had some pretty bad days. Today was a pretty good day. All my previous stops here must've been on good days. I will continue to make this a reliable rest stop on NC24. read more

This Mcdonald establishment is not the best, when you get to the drive thru and order, they have attitude on their tones, and have this mentality to rush you and sometimes I tell them wait, I'm not done yet. The employees need some training on customer service skills. If you want to work for public, atleast be decent in dealing with people. Alot of customers complain about this place and management just sucks because their employees are horrible. No good, take your business elsewhere. read more

honestly I've never ever had a problem with this particular McDonald's. but i hate how they haven't updated their time! about 2 weeks ago i stopped by there for a dr pepper and some fries, mind you it's about 1:00 AM. i was expecting them to be open because the online site said they were open 24 hours! The only actual problem I've had here was when i ordered a mcchicken maybe a month or 3 weeks ago. and the meat inside was chewy tasted a bit raw. i could be wrong but I didn't even want to look inside to see cause if it was raw.. read more

Now I wouldn't normally write a review for a McDonald because I only go through the drive thru, but I have gone here about 4-5 times since I've recently moved here to Richlands (considering the fact that we don't have many choices this way) and EVERYTIME never fails, they seem bothered, the give off so much attitude. I feel as if I'm inconveniencing them. They got my order wrong twice. O ne time I already got to my house and than realized I had small fries yet I was charged for a large. It doesn't hurt to smiles guys. Get it together. read more

This location fails miserably in every category. Not only is the service bad, but the food is awful. on 2/16/18 my grandson wanted to stop at this location { being the only option for burgers ) on his way home from school. I ordered for myself, a grand big mac and a medium fry. Their was no taste at all in the burger, or the fries. The bun was dry, and devoid of any flavor. I would like to say that this is the only time this has happened at this location, IT IS NOT, but do not even get me started on the fish sandwich. it is time for this location to understand that they can only get away with this substandard food and service for so long. Other food chains are moving into the area, and are giving not only better service, but better food. I want my money back!! read more

At the begging there was the word and the word was on the menu. I approached this McDonald's with low standards and no expectations. The last 2 mc-visits i had were unfortunately horrendous. This restaurant is horrible. As public safety professional working nights, food options are limited. In uniform, with a large public safety vehicle, which would not fit through the drive thru, i was denied food service as the employee cited the policy of not accepting walk ups at the window. Clearly no threat from me and a police officer was in his car going through the drive through. Thank you McDonalds for having solid policy and employees who can strangely follow them if it reduces their work load. read more
