I usually don't like leaving bad reviews on fast food places as I know the employees are overworked, but the Crispy Chicken sandwich I ordered was inedible. Biting into it felt like biting into rubber, and I speculate that it was 50/50 meat to tendons. The fries are also extremely soggy and had a faint taste of soap. This is not the first time the fries have tasted like soap, and it makes me wonder how they are handling the other foods. It's been awhile since I've been in here. As soon as I walked in the door the cashier waved and yelled at hello from across room like we were childhood friends. I ordered small fry, no salt, a cheeseburger only onions, and water. Even though there was no customers ahead of me it's still took about 4 minutes to get my order (probably because of my no-salt ff). Unfortunately, they didn't think to time my cheeseburger with the fries and my burger was barely warm. Still, the cashier was nice and extremely friendly. I rarely eat fried foods, but I was hungry, and there was a $1 for small ff on the app. Part of the store was somewhat clean, since the woman that works hard cleaning was working today (just apparently not in my section). After the snow of 1/17/22, they plowed the snow on the sidewalk so you had to walk on busy Poplar street to get by. I tried for three days to get them to remove the snow. I had to go to Green Tree Boro to get them to shovel finally. The rest of the sidewalk was never touched either. I asked the Manager for the Corporate phone number & he gave me the number of one of his employees ( 814-807-4424 ). I'll be calling Rice Enterprises on Monday to see what they think of this. This one is pretty bad. The drive through is consistently very very slow. Most employees are very nice, but they look stressed and overwhelmed. The food is typical McDonalds, so you know what to expect. The facility itself needs a clean up, inside and out. This has to be one of THE worst McD's I have ever been to. There were only 3 employees working. One was working the TO GO window as well as the register in the dining room. One guy was making chicken nuggets, and the manager was making burgers and other food. The counters were not clean at all. The soda machine area was gross. They obviously needed more help. There were two people in front of me-a little boy who ordered a smooth is and a man who ordered two sides of bacon. It took over 10 minutes to get my order taken and even longer to get my order. I was starving and it was the only place to go in quickly or I would have walked out. The only reason for one star is because the bathroom was clean. read more

I'll start by saying I don't eat much chain fast food, mostly because of establishments like this one. I used to train at a studio right up the street, and if I was ever early for a client, I'd swing in here for a soda, quick bite, and wifi. That was six years ago. The service was terrible and, even in the realm of fast food, the food was terrible. This most recent visit (last week) I swung in to kill some time while waiting for a friend to whom I gave a ride and grab dinner on the run. I should have known better and just skipped it, but I grabbed a nugget meal. I waited almost 10 minutes to order, there was one person in front of me. I then waited another 10 minutes for my food. There were no lids to fit the medium cups, and the straws and napkin holders were almost empty. The manager needed a belt, as his pants were a size too big and ass was hanging out of them, which may have something to do with the functionality and appearance of the establishment. The entire staff seemed stoned, which is fine is you can actually complete your jobs, but they obviously weren't able to do. The staff was all young (and has been since I've been stopping here), but I've been to other stores and restaurants where service and quality is exponentially superior to this place. There is a play area here, and from the terrible upkeep of the dining area and general lack of attention to detail in all areas is service, I couldn't event fathom letting a child play in there. I'm sure it hasn't been cleaned in years. There is a general lack of operational leadership here and it greatly affects the quality of service and product. Drive by McDonalds and eat somewhere in the mall or the Eat n Park nearby. You'll be thankful you did. read more

In the 5-10 mins I was there, I believe 2 cars got their order while no one at the counter got theirs. Only employee who seemed to be working was the drive through girl. One guy at the counter spent the whole time talking to people. The other counter girl stood there waiting for food. The two guys in the back might have well stayed home. The one cook spent more time walking back and forth drinking from a cut while the other guy half heartedly tossed a completed sandwich to the front. Incredibly disappointed. Right off the bat As soon as I walked in with my friends three teenagers rolled their eyes and said "it's the type" I stood at the cash register and made eye contact with the right people working behind the counter. After 8 minutes a man finally approached,said "what do you want" when I asked for two large fries and was charged for two large fries I was given two mediums. When I went to the counter so my order could be changed to the appropriate order they said I had asked for two mediums and still charged me for two large fries although I distinctly asked for two large fries. Not in the mood to argue or pick a fight I walked away. While walking I witnessed the three teenagers from before purposely messing with orders that were going to the window. My friends orders were messed up as well. My family works in the food industry. I was disgusted by the lack of care that went into their jobs today. It was childish, immature and showed lack of judgment. Not just by the teenagers but the adults as well. I did not catch the names, but if for what ever reason I end up back there, I will be writing to or talking to the manager at the place. It was incredibly unprofessional and straight out rude. Awesome, accommodating staff. I went to this McDonald's for lunch during a work day with a project in mind: a Double Quarter Pounder Big Mac. Yes, this means I wanted a three part bun with two quarter pound patties in between and then all the usual toppings: big mac sauce (I asked for extra and they obliged big time), onion, pickel, and then lettuce because I like lettuce. It was quite possibly the most delicious sandwich I have ever had in my life. On top of the delicious burger, the fries were perfect. Slightly crispy, fresh out of the deep fryer, a nice golden brown. I can't stand ordering fries, anticipating their golden deliciousness, only to have them be soggy and cold. The tables were clean; the environment inside was... not sure how to put it, but not like being in a cheap, crappy, McDonald's chain where a bunch of teenagers just don't give a crap. The free wifi was useful as well as I was watching a bit of netflix while eating my meal. In summary, one of the best McDonald's experiences in my life.
