Whew. The drive through place was packed! I joined the line and waited. I mistakingly took the second drive through. Don't do that When I pulled up to the speaker, I waited. Crickets. No one said I will be with you shortly, nothing. Two cars went through the first drive through next to me. Still nothing so I said into the speaker. "Hello, Hello". Thinking maybe the speaker wasn't working properly and I wasn't hearing it Finally a girls said just a minute I sat through 3 more cars in the first lane placing orders. Finally she asked me what I wanted. I only ordered 2 coffees, so the order was fine, but I would never go through that second line again. read more

In the drive thru I ordered an iced French vanilla latte, they read back an iced coffee, and I corrected that I wanted an iced vanilla latte. My husband (in the drivers seat, so he was speaking) attempted to explain that there is a difference between a coffee and a latte; the person then disappeared for several minutes and returned to say that she had asked and learned they are in fact different. I told my husband to forget the latte; I didn't trust them to make it right. He knew I wanted coffee so he proceeded to order my iced French vanilla latte. The lady asked if I wanted it cold. I said again yes - an iced latte should be cold. We also ordered 2 sausage McMuffins and two oatmeals. At the window we received two sausage McMuffins with egg (we didn't want egg), we also received two oatmeals without spoons, and a HOT latte. Don't eat breakfast here. It will disappoint. read more

I will give an extra star because the service was pretty quick and the staff very friendly. However this place needs some work. To start, the men's restroom had a ton of flies. Yes it is a bathroom, and as far as appearances go, it looked pretty clean. But something needs to be done to remedy the fly issue. Perhaps more bothersome was the fact that the soap dispenses was completely empty. So I can guarantee the male employees had not been adequately washing hands. The bathroom was the worst, but the fly issue also extended into the dining room. I was somewhat concerned about my food because of the lack of soap. They also messed up the order in that we said to-go and it was prepared for dine-in. Not a major issue like the cleanliness/fly issue, but still not thrilled with this McDonalds. Convenient location right off 231 (or left depending on the direction your heading). There is a playzone for the kids, located outdoors. Friendly service, but keep the soap dispenser full so we don't have to worry about dirty hands and please remedy the fly issue. read more

From reading the reviews, you would think this is a terrible place. But from my recent experiences (Jan 2019 and on), this is now one of the better McDonalds. They excel in speedy service. Just got home with our food and we were missing a sandwich and a hash brown. Most of our order was handed to us and we were told five minutes on another sandwich. We received it then left. After realizing we were missing the egg McMuffin and hash brown, I looked at my receipt and noticed that we had an up charge for a drink that should have been included with one of the meals we ordered. Very sad that this prime location of a popular fast food restaurant, especially a family friendly one, has been allowed to go downhill. I've given feedback and complaints to managers & corporate in the past and I could see some adjustments were made. However, in the last 6-9 months things have gotten steadily worse. We often experience long waits even when there are only 3 customers in front of us, with 4-5 customers pulled over waiting over waiting on their orders, yet when we get our food it's barely luke warm. One wonders what was going on to cause this to move so slow since the food was cold, obviously food wasn't being prepared. Twice we've received sandwiches we've had to finish cooking when we got home. Today there were 4 customers in front of us in line. After we finally got to order, we waited 5-10 minutes to pick up our food. The girl handing us our food didn't say a word. She gave us 1 napkin, even though we ordered 2 meals, and no straws. After asking, she finally shuffled around and handed us 3 straws. My husband's burger was cold and my nuggets had obviously been in the warmer way too long with the oil having soaked through the box. My husband went into the store to let the manager know about the issue. The manager didn't show much concern, simply pitched the burger and yelled back to cook another. Obviously, by the time the burger was done the fries were cold. For some reason, over the past 6-9 months the parking lot has turned into a regular local handout. Groups of people congregate in the parking lot afternoons and evenings, some speeding through the parking lot. We've lived in this area for over 30 years and don't recall seeing this sort of activity before. We know prior managers had a good rapport with the local and state police who made regular passes through the area. Perhaps that doesn't happen as often anymore. We aren't sure. We've only noticed the concerning change. We will be skipping this store in the future. There are many alternative restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Hopefully some travelers will see this review and save themselves some angst while traveling through this area. I also hope the managers and owners of this franchise take note of the reviews and feedback people are sending about this store and take some corrective action. This used to be a good McDonald's to take children to for a fun, quick meal. read more

Not what you should expect. One out of every four customers returned with errors on their order. While in the dining area you could see a lack of cleanliness where cob webs hanging from the walls and ceiling fixtures. There was a lack of control behind the counter, where workers were laughing and joking around and not paying attention to the orders being received. Even though this facility was recently remodeled, it should be torn down or owners/management removed. Does not meet the standard of expectations a customer would normally expect. read more

Place has really gone to crap since owner change. Food is served old and dry, and can't seem to get order right but maybe every 6th time. Last time I went I ordered a quarter pounder with cheese plain. They dressed the bun all the way, realized what they did wrong, and wiped the condiments off and served it to me. The worst, poor and unfriendly service. My order is always wrong and no matter what I order I always have to pull aside to wait. I stopped going there a few months ago due to the frustration of having to repeat my order several times and they still get it wrong. As a local I would not recommend travelers to by pass this crap hole. They have had many many complaints about the food being under cooked, wrong, & sat too long. They have also complaints about the workers and their attitudes towards customers. People have contacted the franchise's owners and corporate about this store and nothing has been done. Went to the drive-thru at McDonald's in Ozark, AL at 10:03 PM on Friday (11-3-17). There are 2 lanes for the drive-thru with a sign posted "Any lane - Any time". There was a barricade on the left side lane. The person that started talking when we got to the menu sign said, "Would you like to try our new Buttermilk Chicken Tenders?" We asked for an order of the tenders & the rest of our order. The person working the drive-thru said they aren't available. We are out of them. Made our order, then to window #2 to get our order. They instructed us to go to parking space. #3. Sat there waiting for 18 minutes & still didn't get our order so went inside to see where our order was & the employee said he couldn't find us, He never came outside to look for us so I said I was in the spot that I was instructed to go to. He never apologized. The store is filthy, clean food trays lined with paper stacked on the floor behind the counter and an employee moving them out of her way with her filthy shoe, can see in the cooking area from the order counter with scraps of food laying on the counter where they are cooking. This store is totally disgusting Won't be going to this restaurant again. read more

Since this location has been rebuilt, this is the first time I have complained about my experience. When they first opened their doors, the atmosphere was inviting, the tables and chairs were very modern and the staff were new, friendly and clean. But tonight, me and my husband went in and they had a new employee working. He messed up three items on our order and charged us more. We let it go since he was new but what made it worse was that the lobby was filthy. The trash was overflowing, the drink area was filled with ketchup spills, straw wrappers and there was melted ice and soda everywhere. The floor was dirty with food and trash. It really surprised considering there were 2 people other than myself eating in the dining room. They had time to clean up. But what do you expect? Jealous I can't go back home to experience the newly rebuild McDonald's but either way the food here was great, and as far as I can remember I used to love asking my parents if I could eat here. McDonald's has always been a favorite. I don't have much to say, the burgers are good, the fries are good and that's all it takes is good management to run an eatery and to have clean, friendly workers. Awesome.
