Went into Osoyoos McDonald's for coffee for 2 refillable mugs. What a gong show from start to finish. 1) Issues with point of sale for person ahead of me. Took staffer way too long to get manager over to fix problem, then again way too long to process order and pay for it. 2) Finally, my turn. I was told they couldn't fill my mugs due to COVID, even though other BC McDonald's locations had filled them. 3) My order was put in the queue with other orders. Staff stood around and waited for food to be prepared for other orders, when they could have filled my order and had me on my way. 4) Women's washroom was out of order. Urinal was out of order in men's washroom. Hey McDonald's: if you're going to promote McCafe your service needs to be tailored to do a much better job. read more

Recently ordered a sesame bagel with cream cheese. Unfortunately, the first one was overcooked, but kudos to them for replacing it. However, the replacement had a slight hiccup - the bottom was not-toasted at all, and the top only slightly toasted With the sides burnt. I won't be ordering a bagel from them again. read more

Fries are consistently fantastic (used to work for a McDs back in the day so I know how they should taste), staff are friendly and courteous, burgers are great. Went through the drive thru today in record time, during the lunch rush no less. They are absolutely ROCKING it. Once in a while things can get backed up in that lane, but not today. Still one of the very best McDonald's in BC. Nice work, guys. read more

Did the drive through on our way to the kootenays. Nuggets and burgers and fries were on point. Fresh and hot and tasty. The line for drive though was pretty long due to people avoiding eating inside due to covid but they moved us along pretty quickly. Losing a star because they forgot to give us napkins. I used the washroom inside and was pleased with the cleaning and maximum capacity covid rules. read more

My coffee had something slimey in it, like mucous. Good thing I opened the lid to add more cream to it before drinking. I poured it out and at the bottom there was more slime like a mucous spit almost. So even if I didn't see the one floating at the top I would have drank it not knowing there was more at the bottom!!! Yuck boycott McDonald's!!! I stopped eating the food after that man found a human tooth. Now I won't go there for anything at all, can't even trust their water bottles for frick sakes! read more

When I'm visiting a new place I like to eat the local fare and try to steer clear of the chain restaurants. Well, after stopping into O'Delights on the way out of town without ordering any food, we decided drive thru McDonald's as to not travel on an empty stomach. I am always impressed when I order a breakfast sandwich with no meat and actually get what I asked for. Plus, the lady at the drive thru window was really nice and had a great singing voice. read more

Extremely disappointing. We went in on our way back to the USA, to let our 7 year old try a little bit of the better-than-the-US's McD's. Well, the food was better than the US, but the restaurant was terrible. Upon entering, we couldn't go in the door closest to where we parked. It was blocked by a trash can, seemed to be in a state of disrepair, and a hand-written sign was posted saying to use the other door. When we went inside, the place was absolutely packed (and this is a pretty small McDonald's). The staff was very stressed, but still friendly. They also gave us no hassle when we asked to pay with the remainder of our cash and then put the rest on the credit card. We ordered a Minions happy meal and 3 other meals for the adults. Then we went to the washroom while we waited for our food. Strangely, they did not take down a name or give us a number, so they were calling everyone's orders out by their contents, which seemed kind of sloppy. Things were in a terrible state with the washrooms. The men's room was out of order, and there was a hand-written sign saying to use the family restroom. The family restroom had no toilet paper and staff said they were too busy to replace it. Also, when we checked back 15 minutes later and there was still no paper, there was a giant mess that looked to be from some child who went despite there being no paper to clean up with. The women's room had 1 stall out of order, 1 working, and paper all over the floor. When we got our food, we noticed there was no toy in the happy meal. Instead, they had given us a coupon for a free ice cream. No one mentioned to us _before_ we ordered that they were out of toys -- that would have been nice to know (especially since I overheard 2 other families saying they came to McD's instead of A&W specifically to get Minions toys). They also didn't tell us when they gave us our order that there were no toys and that's why we had been given a coupon. My disappointed child had to go ask where her toy was and only then was she told that's why she had a coupon for ice cream. (This also wasn't the most pleasing to her parents, because she gets super hyped on sugar, and we were trying to undertake a 6 hour drive back home in the US.) The food was good. No complaints there. And finally, to top off everything, some man sat down at the table next to us who hadn't bathed in at least a week. If it wasn't so hot, I'd say at least a month by how bad he smelled. There was no way I could eat while sitting next to him, so we got up and went and sat outside in the 35+ degree heat to eat. And then, within 5 minutes, we watched all of the other people at all of the other tables in his vicinity also come out and eat in the heat. He sat in there all alone, with 2 tables on each side (for a total of 4) completely empty. Meanwhile, all of the outdoor seating was packed. I know that wasn't the fault of the restaurant, and perhaps no one said anything to them (we didn't). But wow, it really added to the terrible experience we had. If we ever drive through Osoyoos again, and the kid wants Canadian McD's, we'll pass on by this one and go to one in Penticton or something. read more

Service issue at this store. Sat there a saw 7 people get served before I got my food. All ordered meals and they hadn't given us fries. Ketchup was out and ice cream was spilt on the entrance for 10 minutes even after I told them. I love hiring kids but there needs to be a grown up presence. read more

Placed my order and was told I would get the total at the 2nd window, pulled up to the window and waited 10 minutes. They finally handed me my blt bagel and said it was on the house. Was very disappointed I ordered fries no salt and got fries that were either refried and been sitting could taste the old and had some salt ,I tasted them so did my husband then when I returned them the girl grabbed wht fell on tray next thing my husband said look they were back under heat lamp and then the new order was fresh till she poured those fries in with fresh and served them back to me .
