The food was delicious, we ordered the medium Veggie Stuff Crust and we loved it. I also ordered the bread sticks with marinara sauce. Which is by far the most iconic item on Pizza Huts menu, in my opinion. I recall, obsessing over these when I was younger. They're very close to what I remembered, amazing! The service was great, the waitress was attentive and polite. Service with a smile is what we got. However, we were the only ones in there. A completely empty dinning room. The restaurant is clean, and the decor is a traditional PizzaHut, corporate look. Maybe a bit dated, but that works just fine for me. The buffet counter is covered up which I would believe it to be since post pandemic. Weird to see it that way. Over all we had a great lunch, in a booth you don't notice the empty room. Other than easy conversation with zero distractions. I'm sure we'll be back again.

The mandarin in North Bay is not the place that your minds probably all conjure up when you hear…read morethe name. When I think of the mandarin I think of buffet lines, Asian antique decor, and beautiful oriental waitresses. This is not the case in North Bay. The Manadarin in North Bay (who; how they got rights to the name still baffles me) is a locally owned and operated restaurant which has a sit-down area and also offers take-out. The food is nothing more than your typical Chinese food. I'm not sure how my Mom ever fell so deeply in love with this place since it really is nothing special. The one waitress they do have (the times I've been) is an older woman (one of the owners). Which is not any problem I'm just trying to make it clear how it differentiates from a real Mandarin restaurant. She has always been very pleasant though (I'll give her that much). The food is always good. The place is always clean. We have never had any disgusting surprises(unlike some other Chinese food places). But like I said, cliché, boring, dissimilar from what you expect out of the Mandarin name. Indifferent on whether you should make the effort to visit this place or not.

Server didn't mention the daily specials and only after I noticed someone else (obviously a regular) order a different size draught and I asked was I informed they had a drink special. Posted on a sign way at the other end of the bar. So my drinks ended up costing me double what they could have. I felt ripped off. Ok, maybe I should have asked...but more importantly, the server could have easily mentioned they had a special. Either poorly trained or an obvious attempt at a bigger bill and therefore a bigger tip .. Rating would be 5 star and tip would have been way better if I didn't feel cheated.

I am dreaming of their Mexican pizza...the thick cornmeal crust...drooooool…read more I was up in North Bay for work for someone had recommended Greco's pizza. I ordered a small Mexican pizza and Greek salad to for takeout. They had an area for takeout, separated from the dining area. I took the food back to my hotel and devoured it. The ingredients were so fresh and delicious. The small pizza and salad were quite filling, and I ended up having some left over for a snack later. I find that so many places put too much emphasis on pizza toppings, and forget that pizza crust is half the pizza. Outside of Windsor, I find it hard to find a good thick crust pizza. Greco's has one of the best though! I only wish I was in North Bay for longer so that I could try more things on their menu. I cannot wait to come back one day.
