I recently made an extensive, livid post regarding my first experience with this restaurant.. I had mentioned due to my vast experience working in a restaurant that they could not convince me to change my opinion about the order. That being said, I never, ever post bad reviews in public knowing that it's very likely the restaurant is just having a bad day. An angry customer may see "reasons" as "excuses" however I have endured all of this at my own workplace. Every restaurant, just as every human has off days. The restaurant contacted me today, we had a nice chat. The man was very kind, understanding and in no way tried to deny that things were not up to par that day. I have been offered a full refund, a thousand apologies and zero resentment for what I originally said. Everyone I know who has tried this place seemed shocked when I told them about my experience. They all have had nothing but good experiences here. Although it was unfortunate that it happened to be our first time ordering from here, what's done is done and the restaurant has done everything they can to try and reconcile. I stated originally the service was great. I appreciate them reaching out and for being so kind, patient and understanding about it. Possibly in the future I may be willing to give it another try, based off the amazing customer service.

I'm in North Bay area and this is the closet Asian restaurant to the Hampton Inn. Of course I had…read moreto stop in to try it. The food is...decent. It wasn't great, but it was decent. Compared to the "Asian" noodle dish I had at the office's cafeteria, it was glorious. Sometimes, it's all relative. Would I come back here if I find myself back in the area...yes - to get my Asian food fix. They also serve alcohol, which is a huge plus after a long day. I'm not sure which parking lot we should have parked in, but there was plenty of parking in the lot either side of the building. One lot is for a hardware store and I think the other lot is for the medical center. I was just glad to see our car was still in the hardware store lot after dinner. The place was empty when we rolled in. I think a lot of people opt for pick up or delivery since the ambiance isn't that inviting. There were plenty of tables to accommodate large groups of people. They had a chalkboard displaying display specials by the entrance to the dining area. It was a couple bucks off the usual price of the dish. I went with Thursday's special - Poon Ped with rice for $11. It was a chicken dish with onion, celery, broccoli, baby corn, and green peppers in a spicy sauce. It was spicy, but not overly spicy. The sauce was good, nothing exciting. All the veggies were fresh and crunchy. Although they have mixed drinks on the menu, they only offer wine and beer. The lady working here was very nice. Our check came with fortune cookies and Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pies. I thought it was a nice little end to dinner.

Wasn't all that great at all and the price wasn't worth the portions - I won't be stopping in there…read moreanytime soon unfortunately

Not only was everything delicious, the service and presentation was amazing. The very polite and efficient server brought the tofu out and placed it into a cast iron serving pot with sizzling onions and poured the (delicious) sauce over it in front of us. The four of us (two Montrealers, a Sudbury guy and a North Bay girl) all turned to watch her prepare this for us. Honestly, it was one of the yummiest Chinese foods we've had, and we were so happy to get delicious vegetarian food in Temiscaming. Just great. (Also the portions were huge! We had leftovers and we even brought a growing boy!)

Asked for the woman who owns the restaurant to come out so he could show her and he started figiting with the food some more and surprise surprise another hair. She brushed it off saying it was some spice. I ain't ever seen no spice like that. Anyways, we simply asked her if he could either get a new plate or he wasn't going to be paying for that one. She refused and got hostile with him, grabbed the plate out of his hand before he could do anything and basically said get out. She is one of the rudest managers I have ever met. Most certainly wi not be going eating there again anytime soon.
