We always buy our bait during the week at the bait shop, so decided to try Sammy's (there is another chip wagon right across the road). I got the pickerel, and my son the haddock. Both were very good, served on hoagie rolls, as opposed to buns. But the star of the show is the chips (or fries, for us Americans). Hand cut fries, cut fresh, and cooked to perfection. Awesome! I'd have to say it's a bit pricey, but it was very good.

I will say the menu prices were a bit shocking for us considering we're from Ottawa and pretty regularly eat out at fine dining places. But maybe these are the northern prices? Overall though, the food was excellent and you can tell they put care into each dish, everything tasted fresh and flavourful. We only got appetizers because I couldn't bring myself to spend 27$ on a burger that sounded pretty standard.
