Enjoyed a late lunch recently out on the patio during this crazy world of COVID-19. As you can imagine, it wasn't too busy. You can tell this team is working hard to keep its customer safe. The outdoor seating have a minimum space of six feet apart, or more. The staff did a great job with continuously cleaning, wearing PPE and following proper safety procedures. Over-priced, poor sizes, average cooking and flavour. This location doesn't live up to the franchise expectations and in a town that is fiercely loyal to its independent restaurants, Wackys has their work cut out for them. Staff are polite, friendly and professional. Location although right at the south edge of town, has a horribly dangerous entrance and is literally right above a strip club. Prices are too high for our market although they offer discounts for some groups if you ask. I am not sure if they have local beers on tap, but if they do that is about as close to local as they can get and they are in a tight spot. read more

Ordered online for delivery: The wings came hot which was great. The wings are not small either unlike some of the other reviews say. They are really fairly decent size. I got 4 difference sauces as well which were all delicious tasting. No issues with this place and highly recommend to get food here. We ordered wings and a Game starter platter. We should have listened to the people who warned us not to eat here, but thought we'd take a break from the Moose and give them a try. The food we ordered was mediocre at best and expensive. The wings were small, dry and flavorless, and the apps that were part of the platter were soggy. February 14th, at approximately 8:20pm I had called because I ordered a door dash order and had gotten 18 naked wings with the sauces on the side. Not one of the sauces was in the bag. How do you eat 18 naked wings with NO sauce. As well I ordered 12 sauced wings with tex mex sauce and it came as honey garlic instead. Everything was cold and soggy. When I called the women who picked up the phone was rude and completely didn't care. She offered to just give store credits and not send the missing items to us. We ordered wings on feb 10th from wacky wings in Northbay. We specifically asked for crispy wings snd sauce on the side,when we received our order the sauce was mixed in our wings and the wings were so soggy and mushy. My first thought was, "North Bay does not need another Wing place". Considering that Wacky Wings is a franchise I thought that this would spell certain doom for the smaller wing places in town like Tammies, however after my meal I'm fairly certain that they no longer have no fears of this place bullying them out of town with their wings. First off: the building is a nice change to North Bay, the waitstaff were extremely perky and chatty and the overall environment inside is very reminiscent to a Hooters or Buffalo Wild Wings...North Bay needed an establishment like this and if I was writing this review on this alone Wacky Wings would recieve 5 stars. The menu looks impressive, tons of sauces for your wings...enough to rival the Moose's list of wing sauces but that's about where the comparisons end for this place and any other restaurant in North Bay that serves wings. I ordered 3 lbs of wings with the following wing sauces: Caribbean Jerk Rickards Red Apple Butter Mesquite Maple sweet & spicy thai The Caribbean Jerk - I'm pretty sure they didn't toss them in anything, it's supposed to be a dry rub but I'm fairly certain that if there was seasoning on them it was extremely bland and nothing "Caribbean" about it. Rickards Red Apple Butter Mesquite - of the three this one was OK. More sweet than smokey for sure Maple sweet & spicy thai - I couldn't tell the difference between this one and the Rickards Red Apple Butter Mesquite, they tasted so similar with the exception that this one had a "slight" hint of curry, otherwise just "meh" The wings themselves left a lot to be desired, they were really small and overdone. When eating them it was more like eating bones wrapped in fried skin. I was with a group of about 8 and the consensus was unanimous around the table. The burgers however seem to be really good (two people remarked that they were "out of this world") but for a place called "Wacky Wings" I would hope the wings were the flagship meal on the menu, not the hamburgers. Overall the food; chicken wings in particular, need serious work if this place is to contend with the Moose, Tammys, or even the Moze-ee's wings. The redeeming qualities this place holds is it's potential to host future PPV events (boxing, UFC, etc). There are plenty of TV's and 80 oz booze holders to make it North Bay's premiere PPV spot. Note: I did go on opening night, this could be part of the "grand opening" gitters...3/4 of North Bay was there no doubt and I will go at least one more time before I decide whether or not Wacky Wings should become a "wing staple" for me. read more

My first visit to this restaurant was several months ago and I happened to be there on 'wing night'. very busy spot! Excellent service overall, great wings, tons of flavours and options. TV screens visible from every seat, great energy and atmosphere. I made a return trip through North Bay this week and stopped in again on a Monday night. The bartender (Michelle) was welcoming and pleasant and was attentive to my requests. I sampled the Mushroom/Swiss burger with fries this visit. Great homemade patties on a fresh soft bun, crispy hot fries served very quickly at the bar. The service was great! even considering that Michelle never stopped moving as she was responsible for incoming take-out orders as well! Whatever they are paying her is not enough for all the efficient work this employee does! I wouldn't even consider going anywhere else! Great Job! read more

Don't do it. Don't eat here. We sat for 20 minutes before our order was taken, and then sat for another 25 before our meal came, we didn't get our drinks until after our meal. We thought the wings would be a safe choice, but they were cold upon arrival and clearly just reheated in the microwave. Our 5 year old chose the grilled cheese and it smelled like fish. We didn't see the same server more than once. Overpriced for cold food no doubt. I'm waiting for the wrath of vomitting from eating here. Don't do it. I've given Wacky Wings several chances when it comes to the food. Unfortunately last night will be the last time i dine there. GREASY MESS. On two separate occasions I've had to return my nachoes for being greasy and unappetizing with burnt chips and little cheese. Last night, as a vegetarian...my options were limited, so I ordered a tree hugger pannini. The menu was deceiving...and I ended up with white bread completely soaked in butter and pan toasted...but not even enough to brown the butter.
