Was surprised that a person actually monitored the register and helped people not wanting to use the kiosks or mobile app. Was a little confusing on the kiosk s it didn't clearly provide the order number or a receipt. We don't usually stop at MD but today was just for a hot coffee. Almost walked out when we were ignored while standing at the register. We are not comfortable in using those kiosks. When the person took our order we waited nearly 10 minutes for a coffee. The dining area was dirty with most tables showing obvious signs of not being washed/wiped down. I came here on a busy afternoon and had an order that included a McFlurry and crispy chicken strips . The McFlurry was almost completely melted and a huge disappointment. Sometime you just carve a burger. Funny thing is I got nuggets. I know, I know why come here when there are so many more options. Well it's because I wanted good fries and I just wanted something quick. Plus I had the McDonald's app with a special on fries. I ended up getting a 20 piece and large fries. After I ordered, and had to wait a few minutes for my food. I didn't mind since it was lunch time and they were busy. I just waited patiently on the corner. When my number was called I was thanked and on my way to the hotel. First big shout out for the dipping sauces. Some places really skimp out. I got five packs. That's like the only Hoora they get. I stopped going here in the mornings after work. On 6/29, they messed up an order for just two sausage, egg and cheese on a McMuffin. On top of that, there is a deal for 2 for $4 yet I was double charged when I said I was supposed to be two. I pulled into a parking slot only to find out they gave me two ham, egg and cheese i stead. Went inside to get the correct items. Credit card still shows a double charge. Go to the one on Lafayette in Portsmouth. They are much better with the service and actually get your drive-through orders right. read more

We have been anticipating this one since we saw it under construction in September. We walked in amazed at the decor and the sheer size of the place. Largest McDonald's I've been in ever. They have the screens where you get to choose your order. They brought it right to our table. Apple juice is so good, we love apple juice. McDonald's sprite always slaps. A very wide range of happy meal toy options. At the door there are hand wipes for your entry and exit. Food came out very fast. Nice Christmas music. When I went to get my lid for my sprite I was amazed to see anti- microbial lid dispensers, you pull it back a little tab and it gives you one lid. The burger was really good and the pickle was shaped like Mickey Mouse. Super cool picture-painting of a bridge. Cool stools and booths. So much seating. Best McDonald's So far. So it's Friday night. I understand they were semi busy. There was a customer in front of who wanted to pay with cash ( and not order on stupid large screen) no way should people at McDonald's make $15 bucks an hour. After 10 minutes of waiting and not one person came to the counter the customer in front of me yelled and said I would like some help me. The blond comes out and yells you have to place Order on one of our screens. We don't take cash ( bull shit...I was there 2 weeks before and they take my cash) . So I piped up and said I'm paying with cash also ....and yes you do take cash. In a nut shell the lady with blind hair was the biggest bitch ever . Super shitty customer service. I would fire her. Stupid kid in drive through if you order ice coffee regular then there should always be liquid sugar and cream. Well I was in rush. I was already about to go over Sullivan bridge when I sipped the straw. It had no flavoring whatsoever. I noticed people just pump the jug of liquid not noticing that it's empty. Never expect your order to be correct, ever! They are rude and when you order you feel like you are putting them out. Drive-thru window was disgusting with handprints and what not, would be easy to clean but they decided "nah". clearly the employees at this location don't know the menu. the 2 for $4 shows either sandwich and any mccafé drink size small. however i was told that the manager said drinks aren't included. very aggravated with the staff, so i went to the kittery location where i was able to get my drink and sandwich. i won't go to the newington location again. read more
